[OPEN] Wow I am so sorry for all this spam
Who: Serph ANYONE LIVING IN THE EMBRYON BASE and YOU
Where: At the Embryon Base, located near the Forest Quadrant.
When: Thursday onwards, after the base gets thoroughly trashed :T
Style: So flexible :>
Status: OPEN HOUSE VISITS
[If you were passing by the Embryon Base on the way to or from the Forest Quadrant, you'd probably notice that it looks... different, from usual.
For one, there's a good chunk of the second storey wall missing.
The garden, which previously had all kinds of plants growing in Vatheon mugs, many of which had been flowering, is now smashed up, many of the mugs lying shattered on the ground. The orange rose bush, which had been the first thing Serph and Cielo planted, is now split in half. There's also a nice new crater in the paving.
All caused by a harmless intrusion into their territory that turned into an all out brawl.
Still, Serph's not too bothered by the rampant destruction; if they were going to lose something in that fight, it was better their flowers than comrades. And... besides, it's a reminder that they can't become too attached to this base. Not if they want to reach Nirvana.
Nevertheless, it'd be a shame leave this mess here. And they can always replant.
...Mmmyep, there sure is a lot of work to be done.]

He approaches and gives her a nod in greeting.]
Have you been well?
[Nothing is amiss here!!]
no subject
Luckily, Yukari isn't startled by his approach, and instead just nods to greet him back. And to answer his question, incidentally.]
Yeah.
[Though she's really not concerned with herself at the moment.]
But it looks like you've had your hands full. No wonder you made that broadcast.
[She's already bending down to help with the plants. Don't try to stop her.]
no subject
He nods in agreement, though. Yeah, his hands are pretty full... even without all the cleanup. There's a hint of amusement in Serph's voice as he speaks, though.]
It's easy to forget differences between worlds.
[Especially when he's adjusted to Vatheon. He probably shouldn't have assumed people would know the significance of their territory markers.]
no subject
But she doesn't worry about that now. She may as well ask for some details; because there must be more to it than a discrepancy between worlds.]
So what happened? Did anyone get hurt?
no subject
Someone wandered into the building.
[Since Yukari said she'd seen the broadcast, Serph skips the territory explanation.]
A fight broke out. Injuries were minor.
[Relatively speaking.]
no subject
[She looks a little relieved, even taking a brief pause in her mug-filling to breathe a sigh. Something like this happening isn't exactly a good introduction to the city, and she knows Heat has only just arrived not long ago.
Luckily he seems like the type who can take care of himself, as far as she can tell.]
I guess your base got the worst of it.
[And then she'll continue filling up the mugs, putting plants in the ones that have soil in them.]
no subject
It's still usable.
[It's kind of funny, but despite the damage...]
This base is in better condition than our last one.
no subject
[That surprises her a bit, which earns another pause in her work. She does look a bit amused, though-- and she'll look around once more, as if to remind herself how beat up everything is.]
Even with that large crater in the middle?
[...]
no subject
I haven't decided what to do with it.
[Plant another sapling?]
no subject
She looks contemplative as she studies the crater.]
Well, the shape actually reminds me of a pond.
If we could find a source of water...
[That might actually be a nice addition to their base.
It is their base, though, not hers. So ultimately, he'll make the final decision.]
no subject
Serph's been reading up on bodies of water, so the mention of a pond doesn't confuse him. A pond sounds nice. Maybe they could grow some water plants for some variety, too. He's been reading about those!
All they need is a source of water, huh... Ice is just cold water, right? Serph nods and stands, raising his left hand to his tattoo, which begins to glow blue. Lines spread from from the tattoo and lights begin to surround him. It doesn't take long for a demon to stand before Yukari, blades hidden within his arms.]
1/2
Oh. Well, then-- at least Yukari is familiar with this, right? She's seen Cielo do it... she's even done it herself, under rather unfortunate circumstances. And she's even told Serph that she'd like to see his demon someday, after the curse was lifted.
He would never hurt her.
Just like she never once thought about hurting or devouring him.]
no subject
...
Yukari stands abruptly when the transformation begins, and by the time it is finished, her heart is pounding while she stares at him. Very, very different from Dyaus, and very, very different from Isis.
How fascinating.]
Jeez. ['Don't do that so suddenly!' Mentally scolding, but also slowly calming down.] Wh-What is it? You have an idea?
no subject
Serph nods. Yeah, he's got an idea.
Usually magic dissipates once its purpose is served. But perhaps if he binds a little more mana to the spell to give it permanence...
Even though Serph is usually quiet as a human, it's a different matter when he's changed forms. Letting out a loud hiss, musch more bestial in nature than his usual demeanour, the surrounding air rapidly chills as a huge block of ice coalesces within the crater. Serph waits to see if it shatters, but it seems to hold.]
no subject
Is that a Bufu spell? Well, a powerful one, so probably closer to a Bufudyne spell... but in any case the temperature's definitely dropped in the room due to the ice. She's staring at it, because it...really doesn't look like it'll go anywhere any time soon.
It's even enough to distract her from the loud hissing noises.
...]
Oh, I get it.
[She smiles a little, expression softening as she catches on; and she seems almost relieved now that she understands.]
...But it's gonna take too long to melt if we just leave it alone.
[...Don't suppose you've got any Agidynes up your sleeve to balance that out, do you, Serph?]
no subject
He moves closer to the crater and crouches to examine the base of the ice block. Yukari's right; this is going to take a long time to melt. Considering there isn't even any water at the base of the ice block yet, it'd probably stay solid for quite a while. Maybe he shouldn't have put quite that much mana into that bufudyne...
Standing, he gives Yukari a nod.]
Wait here.
[They're going to need a fire person, and he knows just the guy for it.]
no subject
And while she doesn't usually like being told to wait, she does so, with a reluctant shrug and sigh.
Guess he's got another idea.]
no subject
like a boss.]Heat. Come with me.
no subject
What is it.
Serph -> Heat -> Yukari?
We need fire.
[And without saying much more than that, Serph walks back towards the crater and Yukari. The block of ice in the crater is still there, and still hasn't melted a single bit. Whoops.
Heat's strength might be better that Serph's, but is his magic good enough to melt this ice!?]
good with me /o/
oh well. heat didn't question it any further for the time being, and instead followed serph out towards the crater, frowning a little more when he saw the makeshift mini-glacier.
he shoots a glance towards his leader; then to the other girl standing there. oh, she was one of the ones he'd spoken to on the communicator )
What the hell is this for? ( did serph really want him to melt it? what was the point? it was just going to become a big puddle...
so long as he could manage it...)perfect \o\
One of the new arrivals of the Embryon. Yeah she remembers, too, and although he's...certainly abrasive, she hadn't had any major problems with him just yet. She plans to keep it that way.
She just blinks, deciding to answer his question for Serph.]
We want to melt it into a pond. Just enough to fill the crater.
[...So they wouldn't have to worry about water damage on top of everything else. Unless Heat's magic is actually awesome enough to melt the entire thing.
It's not.]no subject
Anyway, Serph nods; it's as Yukari says. C'mon, Heat, don't disappoint the lady!!]
no subject
he doesn't agree, not exactly -- but he lifts his right arm to about chest height, as the jagged lines jut out from his atma, covering his body with a red glowing hue.
agni stands in his place a quick moment later, with a low growl in his throat, though his mouths remain closed. he steps forward, closer towards the ice, and throws his arms outward, gathering energy -- as he brings them back into himself quickly, an agi spell fires off, hitting the side of the ice -- causing a small trickle of water to drip down the side...
not... as impressive as he would have hoped.
but heat is more than aware that this is a step in making amends to the damage done. and as such -- without turning or saying anything, conjures another agi spell. and another... and another...
several rounds later -- there is a small puddle starting to form at the base of the ice. seems he's finally making headway with the thing... )
no subject
Well, she notices the puddle that forms after a while. He can do this; it just might take a bit, and it's not like they're pressed for time.
...His demon form is interesting, too. Her eyes do widen a bit at the transformation, but seeing as how she just saw Serph transform moments ago, she recovers quickly enough.
She hates that she knows what he does with those two mouths now; her first-hand knowledge of the hunger, the devouring colors her perception still sends chills down her spine if she thinks about it for too long.
But rather than do that and stare at him (which she doubts he would appreciate) she decides to go back to putting some more plants into mugs.
They're almost done with them, but she does look over on occasion to see how Heat's doing...]
Um, thanks. You know, for doing this.
[He could probably use the encouragement. But even if not, the silence was bothering her; explosive Agi spells aside.]
