[Equius has been in Vatheon long enough to know that when the locals insist on you doing something, it's best to just listen and do what they say. So he dutifully hung up a stocking (a long, pin-striped one), although he's still not quite sure why, and made out with his matesprit under some mistletoe, and found some gifts for his friends. Then he curled up in bed like normal and went to sleep.]

[Which he still would be--asleep, that is--were it not for the sudden introduction of a heavy, feathery butt on his head and loud, excited kwehing in his ear. It seems the chocobos are awake and worked up about something.]

Centrifugal force. Basically, the battery for the lights inside is powered by the action of throwing them up in the air. I specifically calibrated them so they'd only light up when being tossed and juggled. If you just threw one across the lawn, it wouldn't do anything.

[Gamzee's brows draw a little, before he presses his fingers against Equius' mouth.]

[Gamzee pulls away his fingers, replacing them with his lips.]

[Good. It is Gamzee's as well.

Dropping the club to his lap, he reaches up to wind his arm loosely around Equius' neck instead, leaning into the kiss with a low, content purr.]

[Equius leans right back, enjoying the feel and taste of Gamzee on his lips. This is lovely, exactly what he wanted this morning, and he can feel the slippery metal of the necklace with Gamzee's sign against his skin.]

[Gamzee reaches for all the clubs, captchalogueing them together on one card in his sylladex. These babies are getting nowhere near his strife deck.]

Wanna leave Darkleer here?

[As if on cue, Darkleer warks loudly and goes charging across the yard, intent on catching something only he and his little chocobo brain can see.]

[Equius stands up, his lips still tingling from Gamzee's kiss, and offers a hand.]

[Gamzee grabs his hand, using it to pull himself upright --seriously, like pulling himself up by a rock ledge-- leaning into his body.]

Aight. Seems like our lil featherbro is all amusing his wicked self anyway.

[That he is; Darkleer is currently hard at work tearing up one of the flower beds and letting the whole neighborhood know he's doing so at the top of his voice.]

[Equius shivers, just a little, as Gamzee leans against him.]

Maybe... maybe we could... go watch some movies or something?

[And by "watch movies," Equius means "make out on the couch."]

[Not that Equius has any intention of watching the movie. Most of the time, it's Gamzee who makes the first move in their makeout sessions on the couch. Today, it's pretty much all Equius can do to keep from making out with him right now, on the back porch.]

[and hey, that is fine with Gamzee. The miracle of DVDs is that you can just start them all over again if you end up getting a little too hot and heavy during.

While Equius plants himself on the couch, Gamzee goes to paw through the stack of DVDs. It takes him only a few moments to select one and start it up, grabbing the remote, as he makes his way over to plop down onto the couch next to Equius.]

[And once they're both deposited on the couch, Equius doesn't even pretend to watch the movie, instead leaning right in for some serious sloppy makeouts. He's feeling very happy and very loved right now, and that is destroying his cool highblood persona; all he wants is some affection and physical expression of how very, very happy he's feeling.]

Gamzee tosses the remote over his shoulder, immediately leaning into the kiss. He's a little surprised, he can't lie! Equius is not usually this forward, but it is not a bad thing. slinging one arm around his shoulders, he pulls himself closer, his other hand resting against Equius' chest, against the necklace he can feel through his tank top.]

[Equius kisses Gamzee back enthusiastically, putting his arms up and around him as best he can, even though he ends up gripping his own forearms to keep his hands busy. He just loves kissing his matesprit so much, and even though they've just begun, the way Gamzee is touching his chest makes him think of Halloween, and what they'd done in that hallway, and he moans a little and breaks a fresh sweat.]

[Gamzee doesn't even notice the sweat anymore. Equius is nearly always kinda damp, but growing up on a beach, he was used to wet. He shivers a little at the soft moan, tilting his head to press into the kiss a bit better, deepening it. His eyes slide shut, a soft, content sound rumbling in his chest as he curls his fingers on the fabric of Equius' shirt, gripping it.]
