[Equius has been in Vatheon long enough to know that when the locals insist on you doing something, it's best to just listen and do what they say. So he dutifully hung up a stocking (a long, pin-striped one), although he's still not quite sure why, and made out with his matesprit under some mistletoe, and found some gifts for his friends. Then he curled up in bed like normal and went to sleep.]

[Which he still would be--asleep, that is--were it not for the sudden introduction of a heavy, feathery butt on his head and loud, excited kwehing in his ear. It seems the chocobos are awake and worked up about something.]

[and hey, that is fine with Gamzee. The miracle of DVDs is that you can just start them all over again if you end up getting a little too hot and heavy during.

While Equius plants himself on the couch, Gamzee goes to paw through the stack of DVDs. It takes him only a few moments to select one and start it up, grabbing the remote, as he makes his way over to plop down onto the couch next to Equius.]

There we go.

[And once they're both deposited on the couch, Equius doesn't even pretend to watch the movie, instead leaning right in for some serious sloppy makeouts. He's feeling very happy and very loved right now, and that is destroying his cool highblood persona; all he wants is some affection and physical expression of how very, very happy he's feeling.]

[Oh! Sloppy make-outs!

Gamzee tosses the remote over his shoulder, immediately leaning into the kiss. He's a little surprised, he can't lie! Equius is not usually this forward, but it is not a bad thing. slinging one arm around his shoulders, he pulls himself closer, his other hand resting against Equius' chest, against the necklace he can feel through his tank top.]

[Equius kisses Gamzee back enthusiastically, putting his arms up and around him as best he can, even though he ends up gripping his own forearms to keep his hands busy. He just loves kissing his matesprit so much, and even though they've just begun, the way Gamzee is touching his chest makes him think of Halloween, and what they'd done in that hallway, and he moans a little and breaks a fresh sweat.]

[Gamzee doesn't even notice the sweat anymore. Equius is nearly always kinda damp, but growing up on a beach, he was used to wet. He shivers a little at the soft moan, tilting his head to press into the kiss a bit better, deepening it. His eyes slide shut, a soft, content sound rumbling in his chest as he curls his fingers on the fabric of Equius' shirt, gripping it.]

[Equius hums quietly, trying to shift around enough to coax Gamzee into his lap. He suddenly really wants to feel Gamzee's thighs pressed down on either side of his, the comforting weight of his matesprit on his lap, and those hands on his chest.]

[Gamzee responds to the coaxing, sliding onto Equius' lap. His legs call to either side of him, bent at the knee as he leans close. His mouth slides languidly against Equius', one hand still resting against his chest while he lifts the other to play idly with his hair.]

[And damned if Equius isn't practically purring already, arching his back forward to push his chest into Gamzee's hand. He's not quite sure how this works out, that they always end up having crazy, intense makeout sessions on human holidays, but he's not complaining. At this point, he's going to become a devout Humanist, just to celebrate all their holidays.]

[All of them. From every religion. Even the internet ones.

Gamzee presses a bit closer, his chest pressing against Equius' as he slides his hand up around his neck. He nips at his lower lip for a moment, before he slides his tongue over it. Being bare-faced as he is, for once there isn't the inevitable smudging of face-paint all across Equius' face. Instead it is just kinda dry and soft. Not bad.]

[And Equius, to his credit, only winces a little when Gamzee's hand touches his neck, and manages to smother the cacophony of honks that try to rise up in his head. He's too distracted by kissing to realize that he's getting better at ignoring the sounds and voices that try and assault him whenever someone touches his neck.]

[Hey, if Gamzee has no problem with his sweat, he has no problem with facepaint, although it is kind of nice to not have to worry about doing a stain treatment on this shirt. Speaking of which...]

Hey... hey, would it be okay... if I took my shirt off? Would that bother you?

Ain't seeing a fuckin' reason why I should.

[Hey, he had already seen Equius naked. They had taken a bath together. They had even rolled around and cuddled half naked way before they had even hooked up. This would be chill. Nothing wrong with it.

Except somewhere at the back of his mind it feels less like a casually naked thing like when they change pajamas in front of each other and more of a purposeful thing like with Halloween. Luckily Gamzee is pretty ace at ignoring what goes on at the back of his mind.]

Okay. Thanks.

[Equius can tell himself it's because he's too hot, or that he has finally embraced Gamzee's lifestyle choice of casual nudity. He can tell himself those things, and he knows that Gamzee would probably believe him. However, he knows that this is purposeful nudity, that he wants Gamzee to see him shirtless, that he wants Gamzee to touch him on the chest without a shirt in the way, that he wants... he isn't sure entirely what he wants, only that it will eventually lead somewhere very grown-up and adult.]

[Either way, he slides his shirt up and over his head, casting it aside.]

[ Gamzee waits for Equius to cast aside the shirt and settle down against before he raises his hands, resting them against his shoulders, stroking his skin. It is silly, he knows; Equius doesn't exactly wear a lot that hides his skin, hell sometimes that tank top is more like an excuse to have his arrow on something than to cover up, and yet like this, right now, things just seems a whole load more naked.

His fingers stray for a moment, over Equius' new necklace (and seeing his sign against Equius' skin looks motherfuckin' fine) before he leans in again, kissing him a bit firmer.]

[Ironically, once upon a time, Equius would have loved to have been able to wear long-sleeved shirts, and if he's been able to, would have worn long, baggy shirts with high-necked collars and sleeves down to his wrists, just to hide his growing, freakish body. Sadly, those type of shirts practically disintegrated in his hands, along with their full-leg pants counterparts, so he was stuck with tank tops and shorts.]

[That's all in the past, though, and now he's not wearing any shirt at all, and as much as he'd like to have nothing between he and Gamzee right now, he isn't brave enough to ask. So he returns Gamzee's kiss, his lips searching and needy, and enjoys his matesprit's hands on his bare skin.]

[One of Gamzee's fingers toys idly with Equius' necklace as he brings up his other hand to cup his face. He presses into the kiss, a soft moan slipping past his lips as he arches closer. His own shirt is feeling oddly heavy and scratchy against his skin. Kinda like he wants it to be gone, like it really isn't meant to be here right now.]

[Having your shirt off while making out is great. Equius highly recommends it.]

[He likes the way Gamzee is playing with his necklace, and wishes he could do the same to the arrow Gamzee wears now. Instead, he presses as close as he can and tries to deepen the kiss, his tongue moving shyly against Gamzee's lower lip.]

[But he will just be in the shorts he slept in! That is! ... highly interesting, actually.

Shivering when he feels Equius' tongue slide over his bottom lip, he eagerly parts his lips underneath his, trying to coax Equius' tongue into his mouth. His blood pushers kicks up a notch, beating quicker in his chest as he presses close. And without his face paint, it is easy to see the way his cheeks are darkening into indigo.]

[Well, if you insist, good sir... far be it for Equius to deny you!]

[Equius obligingly lets Gamzee draw his tongue into his mouth, and he moans a little at the alternating sweet and salty taste of his matesprit. His eyes are closed right now, so he can't see the way Gamzee is blushing, but he can feel the heat rising on the other troll's cheeks, and he likes it. He likes that he can make Gamzee feel this way.]

[Gamzee tightens his legs a little around Equius' legs, his thighs pressing against those of his matesprit. He can feel Equius' glasses dig into his nose just slightly as he kisses him, the sensation of his broad chest against his skinny stack of ribs, the heat of his skin... it is all pretty damn amazing. A real miracle.]

Hn, wait. wait.

[He mumbles that against his lips, pulling back out of the kiss rather reluctantly as he sits up, grabbing the back of his shirt and pulling it over his head. He drops it to the couch, before immediately diving in for another kiss again. Much better. Much better.]

[It would figure that the only time Gamzee doesn't get tangled up in his shirt is when there are sloppy makeouts on the line.]

[Equius hums, deep and appreciative, as Gamzee's bare skin touches his, and yes, they've been shirtless around each other before now, and have even cuddled shirtless, but this just feels different somehow. He brings up one hand, letting it hover near Gamzee's hip.]

Please... help me. I want to touch you...

[Gamzee nods a little, even if Equius didn't exactly ask him a question. Reaching down, he covers Equius' wide hand with his own, carefully guiding him the rest of the way to his hip. He shivers a little when he feels the warm, calloused skin resting half against his side, half over the waistband of his shorts.]

Like that?

[Equius shivers at the feeling of Gamzee's warm, bare skin under his palm.]

Yeah... just like that...

[He manages a small, delighted smile before diving back in for another kiss.]

[Gamzee shivers at the enthusiastic kissing, leaning back in. His mouth is just as eager as Equius' is, sliding sloppily against his. His fangs catch on his bottom lip for a moment, nipping, before he sucks. His cheeks by now are blooming bright indigo, stretching all the way up to the tips of his ears, and nearly drowning out the smattering of freckles across his nose.]

[Equius loves those freckles, has he ever mentioned that?]

[He moans happily as Gamzee sucks on his lower lip, and he's definitely sporting an awkward boner by now, but fortunately, his matesprit is sitting on him in a way that keeps that fact hidden. As long as Gamzee doesn't rock his hips forward, they're golden.]

[That's okay because the inside of Gamzee's shorts is not exactly as peaceful and calm as normal either.

Pressing his hands into his hair, cupping the back of his head, he deepens the kiss a bit, his chest pressing against Darkleer's, feeling his heart thud through his skin. And this is wonderful, intoxicating; like being on a cloud and everything is so amazing and lovely and he doesn't want it to stop.]

is it terrible that I want Darkleer to catch them later on?

I thought that was the plan all along...
