Fire, destruction, rage and wrath was all that the demigod could remember as he stirred awake. Asura's piercing screams woke him out of his nightmare, showing him the truth behind the madness that the deities wrought. Had it not been for the God of Wrath's actions, Yasha knew the would still be playing along with Deus' scheme. It seems that the role of the pawn wasn't for him. The truth behind the gods betrayal ran too thick for him to confuse their actions as noble anymore. What they've done and what they continue to do was far too great for him to ignore. Twelve thousand years have passed and nothing has changed, not a single thing. Vlitra was still as powerful as ever before and the land of Gaea was now scorched by endless war. The purification did nothing other than to strike fear in the people's hearts and squander the souls of the living for the sake of Brahmastra. All of this death and destruction all because of Deus' endless pride. Just the very thought of it all sickened Yasha to his stomach.

Twelve thousand years has passed and nothing has changed. Nothing at all.

Finding the will necessary to pull himself out of unconsciousness, the first thought that raced through the Demigod's mind revolved around the Cause. What was the point of it all? What's the point of “The Great Rebirth” at the cost of innocent lives? These questions flooded him with doubt as he fought the enraged Asura and these same thoughts pursued him all the way here to Vatheon. Uncertain what to make of his new surroundings, a sigh of discontent escaped Yasha once he realized he was drenched from head to toe. “That's quite strange...” He muttered to himself out of habit. “I don't remember being flung into water.” Questioning this oddity as he wiped the water off his brow, Yasha paused suddenly. “....What?” Golden eyes stared up curiously at the mock sky above with a look of both wonder and shock. Never in his days had he dreamed of any realm where the sea would conquer the sky. Not even the pits of Naraka, the After-world, was ever described as so outlandishly bizarre.

“How...?” He couldn't help but verbally express his disbelief at this point. “How is this...possible?” Knowing full well that he couldn't possibly be on Gaea anymore, the awestruck deity began to inquire for answers once the first bystander passed him.

I do not think that any of us enjoy it, but if we don't work together as a single entity, there is little that we are going to accomplish to stop them.

[Zelda really hates the curses. Over half of the ones she's experienced so far have led to some serious emotional turmoil, some of it so great that it ended in the other party's death.

It doesn't seem like the best time to mention that.]
