What happens when you let two fashion-impaired fishtrolls have free reign of of the shops without any supervision?

A lot of regrettable fashion choices. More than usual.

Except there is not a lot of partying and rocking going on as there is feelings and jamming here in the plaza. Feferi sits with her ice cream on a bench, trying to keep it from dripping onto her brand new outfit. (Which she is very proud of!) With her feet crossed at the ankles, she swings them idly, feeling so much more relaxed than she has been. She and Eridan both needed a little retail therapy,now that they had been able to just have some fun and let go of the last week's events, things were definitely going to be right as rain.

She is ready to talk about things now. In public. In hideous fashion. Because that is how she rolls.

Good fashion. I know it's a concept that's far too grand for your inferior pan to fully grasp and all, but do try to keep your slackened jaw off the ground.

And who cares if he does or not? Hawe you not taken a look at your own matesprit? He's hardly one to consult for good taste.

[Sollux hesitates at Feferi's question, shooting Eridan a scowl. Damnit, now it's really awkward, because he might be inclined say he likes what Feferi's wearing, but then there's Eridan...

Oh who are we kidding? They both look ridiculous.]

I think you both look like weirdos, but at least in Eridan's case that's pretty normal. [He fakes an exaggerated look of horror and extends a hand to Feferi] FF, he's a terrible influence on you. Please come away before he corrupts you more!

[ Still not feeling the awkward over here. Instead she just splays herself across Eridan's lap, uninvited. ]

Oh nooo! I can't! He already has me trapped in his evil, unfashionable clutches! Sollux, save me!

[Eridan opens his mouth to say something, but then there's this hipstery fish princess in his lap! He grins at Sollux, which when he normally grins, he kinda just looks like a tool, but these shutter shutter shades only amplify that. He leans over her slightly, placing an arm around her, as if to give more evidence to those words.]

What ewer will you do Sol? Because there's no way you can fuckin' sawe her.

[Sollux suddenly decides he really can't stand looking at them like this, with Feferi all over Eridan and Eridan putting his arm around Sollux' matesprit and looking so fucking smug, as if he's won her back flushed instead of pale.

His eyes flash and crackle, and he gives Eridan a shock right on the tip of his nose. It's a tiny blast, but it's enough to knock those stupid shutter shades right off]

Oh, I think I could take you, asshole.

[ Feferi is seriously trying not to laugh here at the two of them, but she can't stop. She just can't help herself... ]

Hee! Okay! Now you two, kiss!

[Eridan was about to ever so gently place Fef to the side before getting up and showing Sollux a thing or two about knocking his shutter shades from his face--but he gets halted in his tracks at Fef's laughing and then what she has to say. His cheeks flushing purple and he stares at her, incredulously.]

--What?

[GOSH FEF THEY AREN'T KISMESISSES YET.]

[Sollux' face is as yellow as Eridan's is purple, and he stares at Feferi with equal incredulity]

What?

What do you mean, "what"? You're both so glubbing obvious! Just get on with the hatesnogging already! I wanna watch!

[ Would it make it better or worse if she wasn't actually serious about any of this? ]

[jdhfdskjl;]

[Cue the continued staring, only breaking from it to look at Sollux, still in disbelief. At least he isn't alone in this!]

I--We're... We're not a thing, Fef, god... And why do you want to watch?

[God you voyeur!]

[But Sollux is a bit more used to Feferi's voyeurism, and besides he's not about to wind up looking as dumb as Eridan. So he grins despite the blush on his face, and moves towards them, planting himself right in front of the bench.]

Well, if it'll pleathe you, printhethh, I'll even thwap thpit with thith lother.

[And he reaches for Eridan's collar, intending to pull him forward into a kiss before he can chicken out]

[Eridan feels like such a tool with how he's basically frozen for a second when Sollux grabs the front of his shirt, pulling him into a kiss. But he sees what this is. He can recognize a challenge when one is placed before him, so without much delay, he presses into the kiss--which admitted is kinda awkward with Fef still in his lap, but whatever, he can balance a fish princess and kiss a mustard blood at the same time. Check these skills.]

[ This is great. Front row seats! She purses her lips tightly trying to keep herself from making any more noise. It's really hard, but this is IMPORTANT! ]

[Sollux hoped that Eridan would flail a bit more, but he didn't really expect it to be this easy, either. He growls and gives Eridan's lip a harsh bite, tasting purple blood, then thrusts his tongue forward. It's split down the middle, and he bullies his way into Eridan's mouth.

If he's going to give his matesprit a show, might as well make it a good one]

[Oh what--]

[This isn't something Eridan is expecting, maybe he should have, but it still catches him off guard regardless, but he's not about to back down, not about to let that slight surprise throw him off kilter. The bite to his lip still stings, but that tongue is far more distracting. It's split, and working into his mouth, which he can't just allow that without some retaliation of his own. His own tongue presses forward, meeting with Sollux's freak one, working against it as he lets his lips part more, tasting his own blood, but not trying to pay much mind to it.]

[ Feferi really needs to remember to captchalogue some popcorn for these occasions. Call her a voyeur, but something fills her with a bad case of the fuzzies to see her matesprit and moirail enjoying themselves.

At some point, she figures she should... probably give them some space though, and starts to wiggle out of Eridan's lap. ]

[Now hang on a second, missy. Sollux feels her trying to wiggle away and breaks the kiss. Acting as if he had completely lost interest in Eridan - though really his lips are tingling and he really does hope to get another chance sometime later - he wraps his arms around Feferi's neck and gives her a deep, passionate kiss instead]

Don't think I'd ever forget about you...

[Eridan's enjoying this, yes he is indeed, so much that even with Fef's wiggling he's hardly distracted and--]

[oh...]

[It ends all too quickly, or at least he thinks so, and he's left looking like an idiot. He snaps his head to those two, seeing them kiss and he can't help that slight irritation stir in his gut. Whoops, he's irrationally jellyfish over here while he's casually letting his lip bleed.]

[ Even though Feferi "pushes" at Sollux's shoulders, she's not really pushing, and she giggles all the same, kissing him back.

There comes a point where she breaks it though, pulling her head back just enough to look between the two of them. ]

So are you two officially a thing now?

[Sollux glances over at Eridan and smirks when he sees the sullen expression on his face. Casually, he sits down on the bench and tucks Feferi against him, looking up at the taller boy]

Nah, Eridan's too much of a featherbeast. I'm just waiting for him to get up the courage to ask me.

I'm not a fuckin' featherbeast.

[But now he feels awkward and on the spot, like he has to prove how much of a featherbeast he isn't, more or less being forced into making a decision or he hurts his own pride. He stays silent though, thinking it over, looking away from them.]

[ Don't worry, she got this, Eridan. Occasionally she can be considerate. Turning her full attentions to Eridan, Feferi puts a hand on his shoulder and lowers her voice. ]

Hey, if you're not ready for it, that's okay. You don't have to feel rushed.

[ Then louder, pointedly: ]

And Sollux isn't going to rush you either because blackrom or not, it's not cowardly at all to want to be sure before entering a relationship!

[Sollux rolls his eyes slightly, and reaches out, tweaking Eridan's fin.]

You're the one who just got us to kiss, FF. But no, there's no real rush. [And then he gets a mischievous expression] How's your hearing, ED?

[He relaxes a little on that note. He feels silly for the fact he's actually considering this shit before jumping into a relationship--maybe because it's so unlike how he was before, but he's had time to grow and mature, even if he's hardly close to being mature. But then his fins perk, not only at Sollux's question, but because of that tweak. He shifts awkwardly from the feel of that hand on his fin, it flicking in an attempt to expel the prongs touching it. He casts Sollux an indignant glare before he can catch himself.]

Just fine. I don't know why it wouldn't be.

[Except he does, just he's been trying and trying to act like it's not bothering him one bit.]

[ Feferi's got to admit, juggling her boys like this is oddly satisfying, and she avoids commenting on Sollux's jeering. She does finally turn her attentions back to him, though. ]

That's because it was hot and it was just a kiss! [ And turning her head a little more just to keep Eridan from seeing, she mouths her next words: ] I'll talk to him.
