What happens when you let two fashion-impaired fishtrolls have free reign of of the shops without any supervision?

A lot of regrettable fashion choices. More than usual.

Except there is not a lot of partying and rocking going on as there is feelings and jamming here in the plaza. Feferi sits with her ice cream on a bench, trying to keep it from dripping onto her brand new outfit. (Which she is very proud of!) With her feet crossed at the ankles, she swings them idly, feeling so much more relaxed than she has been. She and Eridan both needed a little retail therapy,now that they had been able to just have some fun and let go of the last week's events, things were definitely going to be right as rain.

She is ready to talk about things now. In public. In hideous fashion. Because that is how she rolls.

[Sollux hoped that Eridan would flail a bit more, but he didn't really expect it to be this easy, either. He growls and gives Eridan's lip a harsh bite, tasting purple blood, then thrusts his tongue forward. It's split down the middle, and he bullies his way into Eridan's mouth.

If he's going to give his matesprit a show, might as well make it a good one]

[Oh what--]

[This isn't something Eridan is expecting, maybe he should have, but it still catches him off guard regardless, but he's not about to back down, not about to let that slight surprise throw him off kilter. The bite to his lip still stings, but that tongue is far more distracting. It's split, and working into his mouth, which he can't just allow that without some retaliation of his own. His own tongue presses forward, meeting with Sollux's freak one, working against it as he lets his lips part more, tasting his own blood, but not trying to pay much mind to it.]

[ Feferi really needs to remember to captchalogue some popcorn for these occasions. Call her a voyeur, but something fills her with a bad case of the fuzzies to see her matesprit and moirail enjoying themselves.

At some point, she figures she should... probably give them some space though, and starts to wiggle out of Eridan's lap. ]

[Now hang on a second, missy. Sollux feels her trying to wiggle away and breaks the kiss. Acting as if he had completely lost interest in Eridan - though really his lips are tingling and he really does hope to get another chance sometime later - he wraps his arms around Feferi's neck and gives her a deep, passionate kiss instead]

Don't think I'd ever forget about you...

[Eridan's enjoying this, yes he is indeed, so much that even with Fef's wiggling he's hardly distracted and--]

[oh...]

[It ends all too quickly, or at least he thinks so, and he's left looking like an idiot. He snaps his head to those two, seeing them kiss and he can't help that slight irritation stir in his gut. Whoops, he's irrationally jellyfish over here while he's casually letting his lip bleed.]

[ Even though Feferi "pushes" at Sollux's shoulders, she's not really pushing, and she giggles all the same, kissing him back.

There comes a point where she breaks it though, pulling her head back just enough to look between the two of them. ]

So are you two officially a thing now?

[Sollux glances over at Eridan and smirks when he sees the sullen expression on his face. Casually, he sits down on the bench and tucks Feferi against him, looking up at the taller boy]

Nah, Eridan's too much of a featherbeast. I'm just waiting for him to get up the courage to ask me.

I'm not a fuckin' featherbeast.

[But now he feels awkward and on the spot, like he has to prove how much of a featherbeast he isn't, more or less being forced into making a decision or he hurts his own pride. He stays silent though, thinking it over, looking away from them.]

[ Don't worry, she got this, Eridan. Occasionally she can be considerate. Turning her full attentions to Eridan, Feferi puts a hand on his shoulder and lowers her voice. ]

Hey, if you're not ready for it, that's okay. You don't have to feel rushed.

[ Then louder, pointedly: ]

And Sollux isn't going to rush you either because blackrom or not, it's not cowardly at all to want to be sure before entering a relationship!

[Sollux rolls his eyes slightly, and reaches out, tweaking Eridan's fin.]

You're the one who just got us to kiss, FF. But no, there's no real rush. [And then he gets a mischievous expression] How's your hearing, ED?

[He relaxes a little on that note. He feels silly for the fact he's actually considering this shit before jumping into a relationship--maybe because it's so unlike how he was before, but he's had time to grow and mature, even if he's hardly close to being mature. But then his fins perk, not only at Sollux's question, but because of that tweak. He shifts awkwardly from the feel of that hand on his fin, it flicking in an attempt to expel the prongs touching it. He casts Sollux an indignant glare before he can catch himself.]

Just fine. I don't know why it wouldn't be.

[Except he does, just he's been trying and trying to act like it's not bothering him one bit.]

[ Feferi's got to admit, juggling her boys like this is oddly satisfying, and she avoids commenting on Sollux's jeering. She does finally turn her attentions back to him, though. ]

That's because it was hot and it was just a kiss! [ And turning her head a little more just to keep Eridan from seeing, she mouths her next words: ] I'll talk to him.

[He just hangs onto that fin, grinning as it flicks. That feels weird, but cool.]

Oh, okay, man. I'm glad to hear it.

[His smile drops as Feferi mouths at him, and he shakes his head slightly. He's flattered that Feferi wants them together, or whatever. But the idea that Feferi might talk Eridan into it and Eridan would only wind up his kismesis for her sake makes him uncomfortable.]

[Now Eridan's just going to swat at that hand on his fin. Let go you dick!]

Yeah... Just a kiss--whatewer. [Though he gives a roll of his eyes to Sollux.] I bet you are.

[But then, he eyes Fef, honestly not realizing she's mouthing anything. His eyes going from her to Sollux... that shaking of his head...]

... Am I missin' somethin' here?

Not really! I think Sollux was just getting ready to leave is all, because he knows I'll come see him later.

[ Does she win the 'Most Subtle Award' yet? ]

[He hangs on a bit longer, then finally lets go and puts his arm around Feferi, giving her a kiss on the lips instead. He gives her a squeeze, then gets up. He can tell when a feelings jam is probably about to happen. Even if he's a bit nervous that he'll be the subject of it, he'd better get out of the way.]

Yeah, I can't be seen around you intensely unfashionable losers, so I'd better go.

[Yeah, Eridan is totally suspicious now. Staring between the two as Sollux is getting ready to leave, and grimace as he kisses Fef right in front of him.]

Yeah well we don't need you crampin' our style, anyway.

[Have some overdone shooing, with hand gestures and everything. He wants to know what exactly is going on, and it seems the sooner Sollux leaves, the sooner Feferi will say, so get out of here mustardblood! >:(]

[ She's sad to see him go, but wow she really needs to jam a little more now, so once he's out of sight, Feferi cuddles right back up. ]

I'm sorry, I didn't know he'd take the bait!

Did you really think he'd cluckbeast out when it came to the troll he's waxin' pitch for?

[He doesn't sound as irritated as the words might imply, cuddling against her himself, though with less enthusiasm as before. He's a little irritated, to be honest. Not necessarily at her, but at the situation.]

Well I didn't know he was that interested!

[ If it's any consolation, she seems genuinely sorry for bringing that on. ]

And I didn't mean to put you on the spot like that. I thought you were really interested, but I guess I probably shouldn't have done that...

[ Weh. ]

[He IS interested. Most definitely, and there's a lot that's present that has kept his view Sollux-ward, and kissing him definitely tallied some points his way...]

I am interested, I'm just not entirely sure, alright?

[maybe he's being ridiculous about this, but with Vriska's douchebaggery and Sollux being interested in him, he's still not too sure on who to go after. Both he's been with, and both were rivalries he greatly enjoyed... Augh.]

But it's okay, I'm not fuckin' mad or anythin', maybe a bit more conflicted, but I'm not angry with ya.

Do you want to tell me all about it? Don't worry, if you want, I'll just listen!

[He stops, thinking it over, but if she's willing to just listen... Better strap in Fef, this is a long ride.]

Alright, but I want to make my own bloody decision concernin' this, not tellin' ya you hawe to keep your trap fuckin' shut or anythin', but don't try to persuade me one way or the other.

[A beat, as he thinks over how to start.]

Before you and Sol showed up, both a you were here before. Sol and I were a thing, and for quite a while, then he disappeared for perigees. I felt like I was nearly ower him, then he shows back the fuck up and reminds me why I had those feelin's for him, but all the while--[He stops, wondering if he really should mention her... But, hey she's here to listen, after all. He sucks in some air before letting it out slowly.]

--Wris hasn't been makin' things any easier. I wanted to take this slow, concernin' Sol and I, because I don't know if it's fuckin' fair I get into a riwalry with him because a left ower feelin's I had for a him from before, when he doesn't ewen remember those times. I don't want us to get into somethin' serious if all I'm feelin' is nostalgia for what I had before, and not because a what I hawe with him... if that ewen makes any fuckin' sense at all. Fuck.

[He huffs, frustrated, trying to make sense of his complicated feelings, and even when he tries to put them to words, they just sound stupid.]

And goin' back to that spider hag, she's been makin' passes at me, I know she has! And she fuckin' denies it when I call her on them, so I don't ewen know WHAT she wants and maybe she's kinda got me interested in her again... But then I got this whole thing with Sol kinda slowly workin' its way out, or at least it seems. So to put this shit plainly: I'm a touch fuckin' conflicted on this whole mess.

[ What is it with no one trusting her to simply listen and offer input and not try to make up people's minds for them? Sheesh, you'd think she made a habit of making everyone's business her own and sharing it with the world or something like that.

She makes a face but listens anyway, distracted easily enough by the little tale, taking it with a grain of salt because, hey, this is Eridan. But none of it really surprises her, when she thinks back on it. ]

Well I couldn't tell you what to do even if I wanted to, because I don't really know! Just from watching you and this Sollux though, it seems like you have something really vicious going on, and if that's something you want to pursue then you two could really make some new memories. He's still the same Sollux, after all.

[ Not that Feferi knows what it's like, but never the less. ]

As for Vriska, I don't know. All I can say about her is to consider that maybe there are other trolls out there who might be interested in taking her off your hands, if you decide you're more interested in Sollux. I mean, you know. Just saying, as something to keep in mind!

[ And to top it off, she gives the most casual of shrugs. Yep. ]

[He listens to all of that, but there really is one thing that sticks out among the rest. All I can say about her is to consider that maybe there are other trolls out there who might be interested in taking her off your hands. He stares at her, silent for a few long moments before asking curiously:]

... What do you mean there might be other trolls interested in takin' Wris off my hands?

[Staring.]
