[ By the time Mithos arrives, he's soaked and looks like a drowned kitten. Coughing up lung-fulls of water, he sputters something about 'Pronyma' and being stupid. When he first arrives, it looks at first like he's someone else entirely, before reverting to this form; his child form. The change happens too quickly for anyone to tell that he was just in the form of Lord Yggdrasill; he just looks like a glowy ball. ]

P-Pronyma, what are you-- [ Cough, cough. By the time he finally gets up, he looks dazed, still disoriented, and still trying to steady his breathing. The Cruxis Crystal may mean he doesn't need food or sleep, but he still needs to breathe. The explosions of stars in his eyes gone, he looks up at the coral, clutching his side, where he had been hit by a Demon Fang earlier after having fought Lloyd's party in his Yggdrasill form only one day earlier; they had fared better than their first time around (despite still losing), and actually landed a few noteworthy hits on him. He still hadn't recovered from that, and another Demon Fang on an already sore spot was quite painful. ]

Wha... where am I?

[ Rodyle's Human Ranch? No, not unless Rodyle embezzled Desian funds to COMPLETELY RENOVATE THE ENTIRE RANCH WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION. This... this was something else entirely. ]

[ He actually sort of meant that. Mithos had no friends here, and Zelos only barely counted as an ally because of what he was holding over his head. He knew that didn't mean a damn thing here, but he had to start somewhere. Mithos hadn't felt this alone since Martel had first died. ]

If you find somewhere that doesn't have anyone already living in it or you find somewhere with someone you know that doesn't mind you living with them, you can just start living there. This place is really simple. There's an island that's only accessible by an elevator too.

So far all I know is that the people here worship the coral, and it curses people occasionally. I still don't know why we're here, only how we got here.

Not even totally sure on the how since it's apparently not magic, but as for the why it seems like the coral uses us to sustain itself, some kind of energy. That and whoever set up the bubble seems to be using us as test subjects or something for the curses.

[He doesn't mind being candid about the bubble itself. After all, Mithos is pretty powerful. He could definitely be an asset in trying to find a way out. He might kill their captors in the process but Zelos has absolutely no love for them either. As far as he's concerned, no one who has a hand in running this place is innocent.]

[She didn't want him to go attack someone because Martel came back when the Great Seed turned into a World Tree sapling. Well, kind of came back anyway.]

You do know there was a reason the world was split, right? Because Tethe'alla and Sylvarant were going to destroy each other?



[ Taking a deep breath. ]

It's only a matter of time before they start killing each other again. If there's one thing I learned about humans after watching them for four thousand years, it's that they never change.

[ Little does he know that's exactly what happened with the Vanguard and the Church of Martel. ]

[Well that answers that. She just watches him, before speaking up again. Her voice raises again and her dog barks sharply.]

All we knew was that being split was killing the worlds and that they stood a better chance of surviving together then separated. If you haven't forgotten, we wanted to split the worlds apart completely because we thought that would help too! Yuan and Kratos never told us that that was why the worlds were split apart, and neither did you. Martel didn't tell us either when she was brought back as part of the new tree's guardian spirit! It's not like you could tell us after we did it either.

[Whoops that was what she wasn't going to tell him. She takes a deep breath.]

If Sylvarant and Tethe'Alla start fighting, then we'll do everything we can to get them to stop without splitting the worlds again.
