[The mingle party this month is taking place in the field on the North end of the park. There are balloons, streamers, flags and signs all showing the way to the gathering. There is a table set up with fresh fruit, cookies, cupcakes, sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers. Another table consists of various beverages and pretty blue jars to use as drinking glasses.

In the middle of the field one can find a large ball pit with inflatable sharks inside. There are also a couple of bounce houses and buckets full of water balloons. Towels and reclining lawn chairs were close by for anyone who needed to dry off or sunbathe.

Last but not least, there is a large tent full of pillows of all shapes and sizes. There is a movie projector set up to use a tent wall as a movie screen. Bring your own movies or choose from the great classics like The Count of Monte Fishto and The Seven Samuray. Outside of the tent was a photo booth set up with a box of silly props. A whole bunch of silly props.]

[As always, Fai is dutifully carrying out his host club duties and manning the table while some of the others go and enjoy the festivities. He will get his chance to take part a little later, but for now he is smiling at anyone that comes close to the table and handing out treats while describing the club to anyone that will care enough to listen.]

So what is a host club exactly, aside from a group of potential kidnapping victims?

A host club is a place full of nice gentlemen that are there to provide company to whomever decides to come through the door. I'm not sure what you mean by kidnapping victims.

Quite a few you were kidnapped by the vampire queen. Do you not remember?

And do you mean company or sex?

[Fai looks surprised by this. This particular vampire doesn't remembering being kidnapped but then again...he also thought it was nothing but a fun game. When he realizes what she is talking about he actually laughs.]

I didn't realize she was a vampire queen. I guess I should have shown a little more respect.

And I mean company of course! We listen and talk and eat together but it really never goes any further then that.

That's a little disappointing. Not that I'd need to pay for sex, but sometimes a girl likes to fantasize about boy whores.

[Fai holds up his hands and shrugs.] I can't say for sure that things like that don't happen, I just know it isn't the main focus of the host club. We want everyone to feel comfortable.

I feel very comfortable in bed. That's for future reference in case I decide to stop by.

[Fai blinks a few times in surprise. She certainly is a forward one.] I'll make sure to remember that..maybe I can find you a suitable host. [That could be tricky..but Fai is up to the challenge.]

You should definitely stop by and at least see what it is like..even just once!

[Another laugh as Fai gives an enthusiastic nod.] That might be why some people come. Do you have any favorites as far as food or drink? I'm one of the cooks so I like to make sure I have something for everyone.

Oh, you cook. I do enjoy waffles, sometimes with ice cream on top. It's like having dessert for breakfast, or breakfast for dessert, depending on the time of day.

Excellent! That is something I can definitely do easily! If you like waffles, do you like waffle cones? I know they aren't the same but their name is similar!

Well, sure. They usually fit more ice cream than any other kind of cone.

Then I will make sure that if I have ice cream that I give you a nice big scoop in a waffle cone! Do you like all kinds of different waffles? I like making breakfast foods and just about anything can get mixed into a waffle, just like with pancakes!

Ahh~ Be careful about saying that. You might end up with one of every kind of waffle that has ever been invented plus more!

Most people do! But not all of them are willing to try all the different kinds. Some people are just not that adventuresome!
