Who: A returned Johnny and anyone passing by
Where: Thefountain plaza
When: Afternoon
Status: Open
Style: Action
[Things were probably peaceful, as peaceful as they can be in Vatheon, until there was a sudden splash from the fountain where a very soaked man in a bathrobe and an equally drenched and miserable cat now sat.
The cat swam over to the edge of the fountain and hopped out onto the side before shaking herself and proceeding to try and make her fur behave.
Johnny, however, was still. It was like a tidal wave had overrun his brain as thoughts and feelings and memories came rushing back. The plan to escape, his 'love letters' to Charley, the message hidden in the Sudoku puzzles...it all seemed dull and distant. The replicas...he had clones wandering around in the world and he'd never known. Those poor bastards who got stuck with him as an original.
And there was Mailer. That probably pissed him off the most: knowing that the fact he'd let himself be used by that man just to get his guard down was now pointless...]
I need a shower...
[He finally looked up, debated about getting out, decided against it, and moved to the edge of the fountain where he folded his arms and laid his head down on them. If he got out now, he'd just drip everywhere and the heavy robe would make things miserable.]
As soon as you're dry, Minea, will you go get me a towel. I'm afraid I can't move till then. I suspect public indecency would be frowned upon if I tried to change.
[The vampire watched his cat, his thoughts still going over everything and sorting things into place. He was tired. He'd never felt so tired...of everything. Of life. Everything always went wrong. He was always loosing things or left helpless as they were stolen from him. He was always lying...and he was tired.
But that wasn't the case here...was it? No...not anymore. Things were different. He wanted to live..and he wanted to tell the truth...most of the time. Here there were no skeevy priests, no monsters, nothing actively trying to destroy him and those he loved.
He sighed.]
When did everything change, hmm? Why didn't I notice? Ah well. Something to fret over later.

Forgive the kitty icon..I really need to renew his account ><
When Johnny had disappeared, Fai had felt..lost. All the plans they had made for the new house were forgotten in an instant the moment Fai realized Johnny was gone. He didn't know the other vampire would be back but a plethora of emotions had filled him almost as soon as he realized he was.
Fai was woefully unprepared. Had he known that Johnny had landed in the fountain he would have brought him a towel or some clothes. As it was it was just the vampire, but he quickly removed the light jacket he wore.]
Welcome back, Johnny. [Fai's voice was light as he approached, holding out the jacket to Johnny. His smile was genuine and full of the relief he felt at seeing the vampire again.]
/snugs It's a cute icon
He glanced at the jacket and felt a bit of his old, genuine, playfulness coming back.]
Surely that won't go on over this wet thing, so maybe you're offering for me to strip in front of you~?
I've been left with all the cat ones and basically not much else x_x
[Fai just wanted Johnny to be drier then he obviously would be sitting in the wet robe. It was a good thing Fai liked long and flowy jackets, it would do as a decent replacement for the robe.]
<333
And stripped the robe off, letting it drop, unceremoniously to the ground before slipping on the offered jacket.]
Me? Shy? Perish the thought~
[As soon as the coat was securely on and Johnny had formed a pair of jeans for at least some sort of decent cover, he turned to Fai and pulled the younger vampire into his arms.]
Hey, there.
<333
[Fai smiles and wraps his arms around Johnny and hugs him close. After a moment he turns and buries his face against Johnny to hide any possible break in that smile.]
I'm angry with you. You broke our house hunting date~

Sacra had been immensely helpful, as was having Selphie living with her. But still, her usual smile was absent as she took Sacra out for a walk. Their steps led them past the fountain, which had almost gone unnoticed until the dog stopped. Rinoa paused and looked over, wondering what had caught his attention-
...she knew that huge mop of hair.]
Johnny...?
no subject
Rinoa~ What a lovely face to 'wake up' to.
Minea, however, noticed Sacra and bound off the ledge to go wind between the dog's legs in greeting.
Leaving Johnny to shoot a glare at her.]
Traitor.

You came back!
[Heads up, Johnny. She's tackle hugging you.]
no subject
Still, Johnny catches her and hugs her tightly, laughing.]
Of course, of course~~ Couldn't just leave you here alone, could I~?
Hmm~ I missed you. [Or, well, he would have if he remembered her, but he's retro-actively missing her now.]

Mr. Rayflo? What are you doing there? Would you not like to get out?
no subject
I would...but I'm afraid I'm in a difficult position. I need a towel and getting out without one would probably end badly for me.
no subject
[He asks the nearest person if he has a spare towel and after a couple of tries, he has one for Johnny. He hands it over to the vampire.]
There you go, sir.
no subject
Thank you.
Unfortunately, I wasn't really properly dressed for travel.
[He slipped the towel under the robe and wrapped it around his waist before letting the soaked cover drop. For a moment, the vampire stood there in only the towel, but then fabric began to appear around him and a dress-shirt and jeans materialized on him.
Johnny pulled the towel off and started using it on his hair.]
Much better.

[The cry is surprisingly near. In fact, the overeager and decidedly relieved Hylian has already attached himself to his matesprit's back in a tight hug by the time the sound is out of his mouth, completely ignoring that he's getting himself drenched in the process.]
I knew you'd come back!
no subject
Hey you...sorry, didn't mean to skip off on you.
[He pried out of the hug, only so he could turn and pull the Hylian into a proper one. It felt familiar and safe. It was loving contact he hadn't had in weeks thanks to that glass wall.
It was comforting.]

[It's wonderful to have his arms around his matesprit again, to be pulled into that tight embrace. He'd started to doubt that Johnny would come back and is genuinely relieved to find his doubts unfounded.]

[He felt the warmth of Sola wrapped in his arms spread through him, despite the water and it made him hold tighter.
Imagine if he hadn't come back? He would have lost all of this. Everything he'd come to love...and the worst part was he never would have known he'd lost anything.
That was the scariest part. He'd never be able to miss the things his friends gave him...or, even if he did, he would never know why.
Gently, he pulled away again so his eyes could lock with his boyfriend's.
And then he kissed him. Properly.]

He shows up with that towel, offering it out.]
How are you?
no subject
Honestly? I've been better. But I prefer this place. At least I'm not suffering bible burns this time~
You been staying out of trouble?
no subject
[ Ky's mostly trying not to look at Johnny's current state of dress, since it doesn't seem to be very...comprehensive. Still, his concern is more for Johnny than propriety. ]
I've been well enough. Much the same as I have been, really.
no subject
Slowly, the vampire's usual clothing taste began to materialize around him until he was fully dressed, shoes and all, and didn't need the towel anymore...which also got dropped with the robe.]
That's better, thank you.
And good, I'd rather not come back to find you've landed yourself in something terrible~

Gale is in the Plaza, passing through, when he notices Johnny. The vampire isn't someone he knows well, but he's someone he knows things about, thanks to Serph, and they've spoken occasionally. In his opinion, that's no reason not to approach anyone.
There don't seem to be any visible injuries, but that's no reason not to check.]
Do you need assistance?
no subject
Ah~ Hello, Gale~ I wouldn't mind a towel or two, if you've got a moment.
no subject
But he comes back with a stack of them and sets them down on the lip of the fountain.]
What happened?
no subject
I went home for a little while, I guess. Longer than the usual three days, it seems; like Serph...I thought he was just being weird, but I guess it could happen to anyone~
Mmm...luckily, nothing all that exciting happened.
[Except finding out he was actually alive and not dead, oh and being kidnapped and held hostage, but still. He was in one piece.]
