Who: Travis fucking Touchdown and everyone.
Where: By the coral (though anywhere nearby is good)
When: Monday afternoon
Warnings: cursing, lewd behavior, uh. everything. just everything.
Style: starting in prose. Can go for whatever
Status: Open like Travis's pants.

To say Travis was having a bad day was an understatement. Last thing he remembered was fighting that stupid little fucker, Jasper Batt Jr, then falling off the top floor of the Pizza Batt building. And now he woke up sitting in the fountain. He fished for his tinted sunglasses, only to find one of the lenses has completely cracked. "Fuck." Yeah, he died and went to hell. Given his luck, they only showed shounen anime here and there weren't any pretty women.

He stood up, making sure he was still all in one piece, then dug out his cell. Dead and water-logged. "FUCK!" Well, since when would cellphones actually work in hell anyway? Stupid, stupid, stupid. At least he was pretty sure his beam katanas would still work. Whatever Naomi did, she made them work no matter what the hell happened to him, and Travis always took a huge beating. Every time. Guaranteed. He took one of the katana off his belt.

click.

Shit, out of batteries. He took both hands and began shaking it up and down like one of those flashlights that recharge by shaking. Sure enough, the thing recharged and out came a perfect beam katana. "Sweet".

Now that was taken care of. "Where the hell am I?"

"Kinda!" Selphie giggled at that - maybe it was more fun to pretend that she was. Truthfully, she'd only been locked away once for trying to blow up enemy stuff, but still... it hadn't been great fun. She leaned in, conspiratorially, "But don't tell anyone, okay?"

Selphie just stared back, allowing him to make his own decision. But she didn't keep a straight face for long, and allowed herself a soft smile. "It's fine. You won't get into any kinda trouble here anyway."

She winked at him, and then concentrated on choosing another slice of pizza.

"Yup! We're in a whole other world with a whole new..agenda! I guess, I dunno, there's a lot of people who can take advantage of Vatheon being so different..." But still, Selphie was happy to finish off her slice of pizza. She smiled at Travis, getting closer to finishing her beer too.

"Why, what's your story?"

Selphie watched him, visibly amused. He was just an interesting guy to be around. But then her eyes lit up and she leaned further forward over the table, grinning herself.

"Oooh! Really?"

"Huh. That's pretty cool!" Yeah, Selphie had a really weird sense of what cool was, but in essence her job was very, very similar. She finishes off her beer and smiles at him, "I'm a mercenary."

Selphie couldn't help but smile - after all, he seemed to just believe her. Most people thought she was kidding, or laughed, or did something. But Travis just accepted it, and Selphie appreciated that. She showed her appreciation with a sharp salute, and by ordering two more beers when the waiter went past.

"Looks like we do!"

Selphie laughed at his enthuasiasm, pleased at least that he was much less cranky that he had been when she'd first found him. She happened to glance down at her feet, and she jumped a little when she remembered she was supposed to be taking cat food and sake home. But it could wait, she supposed, because it's not like either had completely run out.

"Oh, right!"
