[It's around morning when all SFCs in Vatheon get the following text message:]

Hello Vatheon residents. My name's Orihara Izaya~. I'm a resident in Larmline Apartments and I live in the penthouse at the top. If any of you know anything about the penthouse, you'd know that it has four bedrooms.

I, unfortunately, am only one man.

So-oh! I'm looking for a roomie~!!!

But of course since you'll be living me I won't be accepting just annnnyone.

If you're interested, please respond~! Or stop by and I can interview you or something to see if we're a good fit! I might take on two roommates if there's just too many perfect people for me to decide between.

Bye bye bii!! ☆

[Now, it's up to your character whether or not they want to stop by in person or call Izaya back on the offer. We can always go from SFC communication to action. Any way works for me.]

[ Well, he'd thought about sending a voice message but decided against it. However, Izaya would probably get a call that was quickly closed the minute he picked up. If he didn't pick up, it'd stop after one beep... er... ring.

But the name would be there.]

Kinda forgot which one my last apartment was so I kinda need my space. Got room for one more?

[ Oh Harlie, why do you keep yelling at text messages? ]

[Ion considers his options carefully before deciding to visit Izaya. He doesn't have that many of them, really. He loves Anise, so staying alone with her wouldn't be appropriate (not to mention the fact that looking at him makes her cry). He's friendly with Guy, but Guy is from his past and he has no idea what implications that might hold. Besides, Izaya had seemed nice enough, though the way he stayed off the camera for so long was a little weird.

He picks up a small gift at the bakery to be polite and knocks on Izaya's door.]

[Now Izaya really didn't plan on having any takers. At least from people he knew. So he's pretty much been sitting at his desk, bunny slippers on feet and chess board in front of him in probably the most unusual game anyone's ever seen.

His finger's tipping the white king back and forth and he looks utterly bored. That's of course when the knock comes and he lets the king fall over- a look of surprise on his face.

Which of course morphs into delight as he all but prances over to the door, swinging it open.]

Ahh! Ion!

[Big smile for the stranger.]

Welcome to my humble abode~. Please come in.

Thank you for inviting me.

[The fonmaster steps inside, leaving his shoes neatly at the door. Ion holds out the box from the bakery, looking a little shy.]

I don't know what your tastes are and I suppose it's a little silly since everything is free here in Vatheon, but... I brought you this.

Thanks for coming. I didn't think anyone would.

[Izaya....stares. For a moment. Is that for him? He blinks.

Well.

He takes the box and then smiles. Almost gently.]

Thank you...Money's never held any value to me anyway so that's just fine. You thought of it so that makes it even more special.

[He bows partially over the box before he wanders into his own apartment- which is absolutely immaculate. Of course.]

Thanks, by the way, for taking your shoes off. You already have some points going for you, Ion, but you have the easy ones. Please. Sit. Make yourself comfortable.

[He gestures to a chair that he had placed in front of his desk and took a seat behind it. He sets the box down and opens it up to peek in at what Ion had gotten him.]

[A strange creature appears on the SFC. He clears his throat before speaking. Oh this is going to be strange.]

[Yes, yes he knows he's talking to Ratchet but that doesn't mean he can't coo a little. He sorta looks like a cat after all. And shockingly enough, Izaya has a pretty soft side towards animals.]

I'm not really looking for just someone to live with me. Ah, they need to be special, you know? I have a pretty interesting life and I need pretty interesting peo- creatures to live with me.

[He really does feel like a boss or something. How fun.]

[It had taken Dark Link quite awhile to hunt down the apartment; he had needed to search for a map first and was very out of sorts when it wasn't in a chest but instead a frightened local had showed him on his communicator. It just wasn't how things were done. Even so, he had persevered and finally found the correct door.

Izaya had been one of the few people to show him kindness and now that camping was becoming a little old - he'd seen others through windows tucked safe into beds and realized that maybe that's what real people do - he would be safe from the generally angry populace of Vatheon with him.

And look, he's learning! He knocks instead of simply barging in.]

[Izaya, who's banging two chess pieces together like some five year old, suddenly drops the pawns and stares at the door. Another potential. Excitement bubbles up because he hadn't expected to hear from people.

This was just getting better. He hops over to the door and swings it open, a grin on his face.

No, did he say it keeps getting better? It just got even better. Link. The one person he was a bit taken with as far as situations go and messing them up. Link was so perfect that Izaya couldn't even believe his luck. He hadn't had fun in such a long time...

Then came along the little story of Zelda and Link.

Izaya's grin turned into a warmer smile.]

Link, hello. I'm happy you came. Come in.

[He steps aside to let the creature in, watching him with bright eyes.]

How have you been since we last talked?

[A smile graces Dark Link's face as he steps inside Izaya's apartment. It's a genuine smile, though it does appear as something of a smirk to those who have little experience with him.]

I've been okay. I met some nice people, actually, like you. I guess not everyone here wants to hurt me.

[His expression grows slightly troubled and he rubs the back of his neck restlessly.]

I saw you were looking for a roommate and I thought maybe it could be me... but, um. Could someone else stay too?

Is that right? Who did you meet if you don't mind me asking? And of course not. It's funny how surprising that kinda thing isn't it?

[He looks a bit surprised. He didn't think Link had come for that.]

Ah- well- ...What do you mean, could someone else stay? Did you have someone in mind?

[He's not saying no. Not yet anyway but it's not really in his mind. As interesting as many of the other residents who had stopped by or offered their company- Link thus far was the most..
