[It's around morning when all SFCs in Vatheon get the following text message:]

Hello Vatheon residents. My name's Orihara Izaya~. I'm a resident in Larmline Apartments and I live in the penthouse at the top. If any of you know anything about the penthouse, you'd know that it has four bedrooms.

I, unfortunately, am only one man.

So-oh! I'm looking for a roomie~!!!

But of course since you'll be living me I won't be accepting just annnnyone.

If you're interested, please respond~! Or stop by and I can interview you or something to see if we're a good fit! I might take on two roommates if there's just too many perfect people for me to decide between.

Bye bye bii!! ☆

[Now, it's up to your character whether or not they want to stop by in person or call Izaya back on the offer. We can always go from SFC communication to action. Any way works for me.]

[He presses his fingers together, seeming slightly embarrassed.]

Well, um... I met this girl named Ion and she's really nice too and she understands things, so... I just thought, since you said have space...

[Why does my face feel warm?]

Ion...? Isn't she actually a he? I met him earlier today.

[He points over to his box of baked goods that Ion had given to him.]

I was actually really considering him. I already have Laharl living here but there are four rooms...So I don't see why not. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick Ion anyway. He's a sweet heart. Plus, he's easy on the eyes.

[He grins a little at that but then notices Link's face and looks perfectly amused.]

Link...are you blushing?

[Well, he had been blushing. Now he just looks astounded.]

Ion's a boy?! But he's so little and cute and he wears a tiara!

[Did it really matter, though? Ion was nice to him, that's all there is to it.]

Whatever! I just want us all to live together because you're both nice to me.

[And he nods with finality to drive the point home.]

Yup. I thought it was weird too.

[He looks at Link for a long, quiet moment before his mouth lifts up into a genuine smile.]

Well then. I think that's a pretty reasonable argument. I'd love to have you live with me. I think that'd be just fine. Besides, I want to be near you anyway. I like Link.

[Oh right...]

By the way, Laharl...He's sort of a little bastard. Try not to let him get to you. He's really just a kid. Ah! I feel like I have a family!

[He's actually very excited and he opens his arms out to Link, his smile still present though it seems much calmer now.]

Have you ever been hugged before? I feel like this is an appropriate time for a hug.

[After another moment of thought, Dark Link decided it's better that Ion is a boy. Then they can share a room! Something in the back of his mind where he knows things he never learned says that girls and boys shouldn't share rooms. But at Izaya's open arms he blinks cluelessly.]

What's a hug?

A hug....?

[Izaya lowers his arms somewhat and then looks down at his hands.]

...It's a physical expression that people use to show others that they care about them. Hugs can be used as greetings to say hello to people you're close with and have missed. Hugs can be used as good byes to say you'll miss someone. It's a physical gesture that says these sort of things without you having to. Right now, I want to hug you because I care about you and I'm excited you're going to live with me. A hug can be romantic or platonic depending on who the person you're hugging is.

[And he holds his arms back up and smiles.

This guy didn't even know what hugs were. This was going to be easy.]

U-uh... sure?

[He holds his arms out too, stepping carefully into Izaya's. He realized now that Ion had given him a hug, the other day in the park when he felt as if the world was crashing down. He was still trying to put the pieces back in some way that made some kind of sense and all he'd gotten through so far was that he wanted to be near the people who treated him nicely. He could work out what to do after that.

What he doesn't realize his end of the hug has turned halfway into a cling, holding onto Izaya as a drowning man to a raft. Until Vatheon, Dark Link hadn't noticed that physical contact was something he'd been staved of.]

Eheh, Link, you don't know a whole lot about physical affection do you? I doubt you even know anything about sex. Not that it's a bad thing but it's not necessarily good either.

Jeez, I feel like I should open a school or something. You're not the only person who seems to be foreign to the concept of things like this. Ahh I'll help you though. Just in case you ever find yourself in a situation--nn. I can't show you everything like a hug though.

[All the while talking, he's just patting Link on his back in this comforting sort of way but eventually he stops that and holds on tightly to Link as tightly as Link is holding onto him.

Izaya doesn't really mind the prolonged hug. He merely responds to it with a tight squeeze but then slowly pulls away from Link, keeping his hands on his shoulders as he stares at him.]

Do you have anything really? To move in with? Clothes? There's already a bed in each room. You can pick one of the two on the left hallway. And if you need anything, just let me know. I know where mostly anything you could want is.

[Head cocked slightly to the side, Dark Link looks at Izaya as he disengages from the hug as if the words he is speaking are completely foreign. Sex? He knows vaguely that it has to do with reproduction but considering he was created simply to kill the original Link, there are gaping holes in his knowledge of the mortal condition.

He sets his confusion away for another time as Izaya gets down to the brass tacks of actual moving in.]

I lost my sword, but I have everything else. [He motions to his back, where he has a tightly rolled up doormat fastened closed with some bits of twine. His hat is also curiously lumpy.] When Ion moves in, can I share a room with him?
