[Link's arrival to the bubble had shaken Sola so much that he hadn't left the apartment since he'd screamed at the hero via SFC to leave him alone. Nothing bad had happened since however, so Sola decided that maybe this wasn't the end of everything and he could still live his life unbothered.

That's the plan, anyway.

It takes him all morning of puttering around the hive before he stubbornly, finally decides to head out and take a walk through the park, figuring he can just.. hide from Link if he shows up. Or something.

Truthfully he hasn't thought it through all that well but damnit, he needs fresh air. Or as fresh as it can get in a bubble under the ocean.]

[Johnny had taken to sitting in trees since his return. He liked the view and it was peaceful. It was also the closest he'd ever get to sitting in the sun so he was going to take what he could get.

He saw the boy walking by himself and smiled. It had been a while since they'd talked and the kid looked like he could use a distraction.]

[Sola looks up at the call and brightens at seeing who it is, sprinting to the base of the tree the vampire is perched in.]

Johnny! I haven't seen you in awhile, how are you?

[Johnny's smile only widened when Sola's face brightened. That was what he wanted to see.

Hoping down from the branches he leaned against the trunk instead so they could be on the same level.]

Hey, Sola~ It's been....interesting. What about you? Just enjoying a walk in the park~?

Um... yeah, I guess so.

[He shifts his weight uncomfortably, not really sure what to say. Before Link had showed up everything had been looking much brighter. He had Ion, Signless, Psii, and even sneaked out to see Izaya though he didn't quite enjoy keeping that from the Trolls. Still, he had been happy again, finally.

Then Link came and messed it all up just by existing. Granted, he hadn't come to try and kill him or anything, but his very presence in Vatheon made Sola jump at every out of place noise.]

[Johnny eyed the boy for a moment before his smile took on a more sympathetic tone and he laid a hand on the other's shoulder.]

Hey~ I might be senile, but I can tell when something's bothering someone.

[Signless has certainly noticed Sola's moping, but made the difficult decision to not ask him about it. The young man needs to learn how to deal with things on his own, and perhaps this is a step in the right direction.]

[However, he can only handle so much gloom and doom, so this morning finds him knocking on Sola's door, carrying a tray with breakfast and a cup of tea with his other hand.]

[Sola sounds like he's been up for awhile, maybe slightly better than he had been doing. When Sola opens the door, it's to a room with various items and clothing strewn about in a very haphazard teenaged version of decorating.]

[Sola plunks himself down back on the bed and takes a few bites of breakfast.]

I was, uh... I dunno. I thought I might go to the park today, maybe, but...

[Link's in the park already, laying down on his back on the grass and watching the sky. It had been awhile since he'd had a chance to do this during his adventure; just relax and let the world continue on without him. No monsters to slay, no dungeons to explore...

No Zelda to rescue.

[Sola's not usually the most observant of people but when you're sure someone's out to kill you, it gives you a sense of heightened wariness - or, y'know, paranoia. In this case, it helps Sola notice his green-clad twin laying in the grass well before they cross paths.

Letting out a short gasp, Sola dives into the bushes and scrambles up a tree, lurking in a shadowed branch and simply watching, just waiting for Link to notice he's there and make some threatening move.

If he sees that damned hammer, he's totally going down.]

[The feeling of being watches washes over Link and he sits up, his signature green hat slipping off of his head. Normally he would just as Fi to scan the area for intruders, but... He lived without her for a good part of his life, and he can do fine on his own. You don't relax your guard when a certain pompadour-loving bully likes to prank you every chance he gets.]

[The shadow above Link moves slightly as Sola shifts deeper into it, wondering if he should draw his bow and simply shoot Link before the other has a chance to catch him.

But really, what good would that do? No one stays dead in Vatheon and he doesn't want to kill Link. He just wants to be left alone to have fun with his friends and be a real person.

Can he even be a real person with Link here...?]

[Lloyd winces when the toy smacks into the other guy's head. Darn it, his warning hadn't done any good. He hurries over to where the guy fell, holding out a gloved hand.]

He forgot that the park might have people in it, unlike the depths of the forest quadrant.
