[ break has an addiction to tea, only rivaled (and overruled) by his affinity for sweets. so it's not an odd or rare thing for break to be treating himself to teatime smack dab in the middle of the plaza with a teapot on his head because that's just how he rolls.
he fancies his tea outside; and in vatheon, he likes it where he can possibly bother some interesting fellow he might meet passing by— the plaza was the highest source of traffic, after all.
so yes, presently he is popping sugar cubes into his mouth looking rather content; while not looking at the crowd per se, he's actually entirely aware of the goings on around him— appearances can be deceiving! ]

break is, of course, entirely unaware of the current curse, much less that he's been affected himself (although his thoughts remain devoid and low within his bubble at the moment). still, he's seen weird stuff happen around here before, so his first guess is that vatheon did this to minato; but he's not entirely sure what he's looking at yet. ]
Yes, of course— did I not just invite you? [ a wave of the hand as he picks up his own teacup; although he's watching minato closely.
'certainly doesn't look dead'— would be the passive thought that displays within break's bubble as he stirs his tea with a fork. ]

what. it becomes even stranger once he backs up his thoughts with words— because he shouldn't know about that. he'd gleaned the information from yukari entirely by chance, and he's certain she didn't pick up on that considering she believed he knew it to begin with... the fact that he doesn't know the source of the information just makes it even stranger— he knows break knows a particular piece of information, but...how...
—there's a turbulence within his own bubble full of these thoughts at the moment. ]
Well yes, I can see that, Mister Minato— though considering your usual disposition, it's lovely to have that confirmed, I assure you!
[ crunch— he'll just bite another sugar cube and stare at him. ]
