Characters: RED Medic and...?
Location: The park
Time: March 15th
Style: prose or action
Status: open
Working with a bubble that displayed all his thoughts had been... Difficult. Not just did it distract the patients he talked to, but also it could get quite... Well. Embarassing. Especially when he got bored. Or... Distracted. Not many patients valued the sight of themselves cut open and mutilated on their doctor's examination table for some reason or another.
That was why Medic had taken to insert more breaks into his work schedule. Breaks he would use to clear his mind and concentrate on keeping himself and his thoughts in check.
Which was hard. Hard enough to make the mercenary twitchy. His mind and thoughts just used to be the one place where he always could live out any idea that came to him without anyone bothering him about it. But now they were all open to everyone.
Reason enough to take the day off and spend it somewhere quiet. Somewhere where he could let his mind wander or just try to keep that annoying bubble as clear as humanly possible. And as Medic sat at the edge of a small lake in the park, the bubble displayed but one thing: Itself.

However, he's usually out and about the city, not within buildings, so it's no surprise when he ends up in the park at some point during the day.
Serph would normally just pass by the stranger in the park, but he recognises this one. Different clothing, yes, but the facial features are the same. Serph's bubble ripples to scenes from that fairy tale curse before rippling to calm waters as he approaches, taking care to be within line of sight.]
It has been quite some time. Have you been well?
no subject
You vere in zhe cave. Vizh Cielo... Richtig?
no subject
Serph nods. It seems Cielo's already met their companion.]
He is my comrade.
[His bubble ripples to show Cielo, before a streak of orange paint, much like the one on his chest, covers the bubble. It then ripples back to calm waters.]
My name is Serph.

[Medic nods and the bubbles displays his past conversation with the man that he first met in the body of a large peacock.]
He told me about zhe vorld you come from. I... I am zhe Medic. Nize to meet you correctly at last.
no subject
Are you bothered by the curse?
[A lot of people have been, so he'd like to know straight up whether the Medic would prefer it if he pretends not to see what goes on in his bubble.]
no subject
I guess ozhers are more bozhered by it. I personally deem it more distracting zhan anyzhing else. Especially at vork. Ein patient zhat knows axectly vhat zheir doctor zhinks ist... Vell. Hard to handle at times.
[And as if on clue, a collection of shocked to utterly disturbed and creeped-out faces flash through the bubble.]

He's been keeping an eye on both of his team mates, out of concern and in the hopes that it will help him adjust to this place. It isn't difficult for him to track down Medic, so he seeks him out. He's just too curious about what he might see in that bubble.
"Bonjour, doctor!" He exclaims, waving a hand airily at him as he strolls up behind him. "'ow are you today, mon ami?"
no subject
He got up from where he was sitting, his own bubble displaying snippets from what clearly must have been an argument with the Spy from his base back home, but soon enough went back to be clear and collected. This wasn't the Spy he used to work with after all.
"Guten Tag." he greeted the other mercenary with a brief nod "Now, I can not complain, but... Vhat brings you hier, Herr Spy?"
no subject
He practically beams at the other as he holds his hand out for a shake. "Business, as usual."
Which is his way of saying he was snooping.
no subject
It wasn't too hard to imagine Spy gathering information about his fellow REDs after all. Spies in general tended to do that sort of thing.
"So, ist zhere a vay I can assist you vizh zhat business of yours, Herr Kiollege?"
no subject
so you can imagine her surprise when she sees Medic sitting on a park bench. A small smile forms on her face...and is that a blush?
...naw, couldn't be. However, he bubble is producing an image of them hugging, so who knows. She gives him a wave and walks over.]
Ah-hello Medic.
no subject
He doesn't pay attention to his own bubble, but there is a clear image of her face in it as the man does not concentrate on keeping it blank anymore.]
Rhi'a.
[It sure has been a while since they last met, so the RED has trouble not showing that he is glad to see her again as he stops right in front of her but somehow manages to not pull her into an embrace right away.]
How haff you been?
no subject
I've been fine! How about you?
no subject
Gut. I...
[He pauses for a moment, then closes his eyes.]
I zhink I made some progress.
[Right, Medic. The perfect moment to bring up your work!]
Late but not dead yet~
Oh? Good! Perhaps the project will be done soon.
[A pause...then she adds:]
But...how will you test it?
Yay!

Took a little bit...
Heh. It's okay~
thought I had replied to this
It happens. And I'll just use this icon now...
So romantic, Medic.
He tries~
And does well~
Maybe because he doesn't think about what he does.

He's more amused than anything when he catches sight of the bubble within the bubble. While it's nice to know he's not alone with trying to tame down his thoughts, his bubble quickly zips through a handful of scenarios starring Medic, all which would warrant the stranger wanting to repress his thoughts.]
no subject
He grimaces, then uses one hand to mention up towards the other's thoughts.]
Vhat... Vhat are you doing zhere?!
no subject
Smoking.
[His bubble? Why no, he hadn't realized you meant that. He's trying to pretend it doesn't exist after all.]
no subject
I can see zhat.
no subject
His bubble returns to zipping through various scenarios. His imaginary Medic takes on a form closer to Germany with dark hair and glasses. Must be the accent. On the rims of his bubble is a slight haze impeding on the image, probably the nation's growing irritation.]

Italy had made lunch, if a huge pile of fresh noodles could be called a 'single' lunch. Sketchpad tucked into a shoulder bag, Italy bounded to the park to find a nice place to eat, only to find the place was already occupied.
He knew better than to sneak up on a mercenary (or even a German for that matter), so he bounded over and leapt on Medic's shoulders with a loud "Hiiiiii~~~~!"
no subject
Though he did also recognize the others voice and the bubble flashes to a quick image of the nation "Italien!" oh, right. Medic shock his head briefly before correcting himself, hands reaching up to remove the young man from himself "Italy, vhat are you doing hier?"
no subject
The country was easily removable, but still grinned at Medic broadly and innocently, offering up a large Tubberware filled with steaming fresh pasta. "Ve, I was going to have lunch here! Would you like to join me? I have plenty of fresh, made-from-scratch pasta with meatballs, marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese!" When he said plenty, he meant enough to feed a small platoon.
no subject
He couldn't help but ask. Sure. By now he was sort of used to the amounts Italy cooked, seeing that he lived with them at their base, but still. At the base, he usually cooked for all of them, but this he originally had intended to eat alone, hadn't he?
