Who: Shelly and anyone
Where: Lower District → Middle District
When: Afternoon
Style: Either
Status: Open
[Early in the afternoon, Shelly heads down to the lower district as a continuation of a long due exploration. While she's at it, perhaps she can see how effective products from the Nostalgia Nook are. Given the epidemic a while back, how about, say, a panacea for a test run?
The Great Lamufao has other things in mind, apparently, and Shelly stares long and hard at what she just accidentally spent her tokens on.]
. . . You're kidding me. You're giving me that?
[So Shelly returns to the Middle District with a whole new(?) pancreas of her own. Some deity, couldn't it have given it to her in a jar or something? She's going to need new gloves -- not to mention the smell.
But not now. Not when she looks out and one modest building catches her eyes. Peering over the potted plants through the window, she hums.]
A salon . . .

[2/2]
blinks. She looks up at Shelly, trying to calm herself.]
What...what is that?
no subject
An organ.
[ . . . come to think of it, is it a human organ?]
no subject
[Is that all. She repeats in a breathy manner, and then she shakes her head, as if trying to shake off the alarm. Her nose has started to adjust to the smell already, she supposes, so...
That's something.]
Then, you should be more careful...what exactly are you doing with such a thing?
no subject
I bought it. On sheer accident, might I add, so I'm stuck with this.
no subject
[She stares at her suspiciously, not quite knowing what to think at that. It is quite the mess, though, really.
Suddenly she can't wait to get home and shower, bathe. Cleanse.]
I can't even begin to imagine how that would be possible.
[She should note, she can't exactly tell what organ it is, but...]
no subject
[That's okay, Tsubaki. She doesn't really know, either.]
no subject
[A pause, as she thinks. She's only been here for a couple months, but she's beginning to get that vibe, yeah. It is reeeeally strange...]
You do not seem too bothered by it.
[For someone to be walking around so nonchalantly, carrying an organ... it's kind of mystifying.]
no subject
[On the contrary, she might have also thrown it repulsively on instinct, but that wouldn't have helped anyone.]
And after everything, it's simply an organ. Should I be so bothered?
no subject
[It's just one of those things that seems like it would make people uncomfortable. But in the end, she is shrugging.]
I have not had the pleasure of holding one before. But it felt awfully slimy.
no subject
no subject
NOT...SURE IF WANT. Tsubaki stares, suddenly a little more bothered than before, but she seems to be extending a shaking hand anyway. It steadies after a while, though...
After all, she was going to become God and eliminate the Unseen World. Isn't something like this...insignificant? Small, by comparison?
...She holds it in her hand for the moment, expression going flat.]
I-I suppose you're right.
[She's still washing her hands when she gets home, though. :|]
Though it makes it a bit more difficult to hold onto it. [Slippery.]
no subject
This is a good chance. Sounding almost too serious, she slowly starts:]
Want to keep it?
no subject
[That catches her a bit off guard. But luckily she doesn't drop the thing.]
Excuse me? [Less outrage, more confusion, as if she hadn't actually heard her.
Except she totally did.]
no subject
I'm kidding. Should I take it back?
[She extends a hand, in case Tsubaki wants to dump it back into her grasp.]
no subject
[...Tsubaki's not used to jokes, okay? But uh, yeah sure, she'll hand it back now.]
Well, it does belong to you, mistake though it may have been.
no subject
Yes. Thanks. . . . I'm Shelly, by the way. And you?
no subject
[Matter of fact tone is very matter of fact. Back in Sakurami, she was used to people knowing who she is...the all-seeing Sacred Eye. But she's adjusted to being more under the radar here.
It's almost nice.]
What...will you do with it, Shelly?
[Eying said pancreas back in her hand.]
no subject
Oh . . . this?
I just might keep it for my viewing pleasure.
no subject
You won't try to exchange it?
[This isn't what she meant to get, after all.]
no subject
no subject
[A tilt of her head as she looks at it some more.]
Well, I certainly hope so, then.
[It...would just kind of rot otherwise, wouldn't it? Tsubaki doesn't really wanna think about that.
She should probably get going and wash her hands...and face.]
no subject
[Offering a small smile, she gestures with the hand holding the pancreas again.]
You look like you could use a wash. Don't let me keep you.
no subject
[She wouldn't let anyone keep her anywhere...not anymore. Though this awkward first meeting had sparked a bit of an interest in her for sure.
She walks a bit past her, still keeping an eye on her for the moment though, in the meantime.]
Some other day, then. You'll have to tell me what became of it in the end.
