Out and About
Characters: Orphaner Dualscar and open
Location: Pretty much anywhere you want, including his hive.
Time: During the day
Style: Any
Status: Open
[Dualscar's been mostly staying home for the last couple of days since the Grand Highblood arrived, but he can't stay in forever - for several reasons.
1. He's not a wiggler.
2. The Condesce is there and he doesn't want her to think he's a wiggler.
3. They need groceries.
So he ventures out for the first time in a while, striding purposefully through the streets with an eye out for anything big, purple, and hairy.
Not that he's scared, though. Oh no. Definitely not.]

Firsties... apparently?
[A glance in Dualscar's direction, he doesn't let the slight anger he feels towards the other bother him. Nothing would happen with Darkleer... right? Right, so no need to be hostile. Summoner will just acknowledge Dualscar's presence with a small wave of his hand and not too much hubbub. Then he'll just be on his way. Cordial, yep. No reason not to be. Plus the other troll seems a little tense.]
Hey, fish.
That works!
It's just what Dualscar needs in his current mood.
He changes course and walks towards him, baring his teeth a bit]
Not hiding wwith the others, filth? Or are you lookin' for him?
no subject
[Summoner pouts a little, staring awkwardly to the side as Dualscar stalks over. Not really sure... why he's doing that. Why does this guy have to always be so dramatic?]
Uhhh... No. I didn't run the last time that indick fuck was here, I'm not going to now. And last time I even got a lance through him. [Smile and a shrug.]
It was pretty funny.
[Funny? Clown? Funny? Haha!]
And no, I'm just here, why would I be looking for him? I have other things to be doing with myself, you know.

[He is dramatic because romance is important, okay? And he's in a really bad mood. He pauses in front of the winged troll and looks him up and down. It's a bit public, but...]
Wwhere wwere you off to, then?
no subject
Uh... no. Where would you get that idea?
[That would men something if this was romantic. They're just casually talking, no hate here.]
Uh, ...somewhere. [Needed to get some alcohol for that new piercing on his septum. But... maybe he can get it later. Wtf is wrong with Dualscar.]

But showing people his mark to receive goods is not something he really thinks about. Just taking shit it more his style, and he assumes that the mark is pretty visible enough as it is!
So despite what everyone thinks they know of the GHB, he's out in the open where he knows there's food, just doing his thing, not really caring if he knocks shit or even people over as he moves around. It's their fault for not moving the fuck out of the way when a lumbering giant approaches anyway.]

He's not going to run. He's not. But he wants to.]

Hey, motherfucker. Nice day, ain't it?

He drops the groceries, fruit and packages spilling out as they land at their feet. Now at least his hands are free, but it doesn't matter because before he could get his sword and run the demon through he'd probably be dead.
His voice comes out cold, and just a tiny bit breathless.]

not gonna lie, I thought of doing this when I was writing the app
hasslingmeeting the inhabitants of this new place, and he needs a break. So when he sees a deliciously flapping purple cape, he flies over and lands on it, right between Dualscar's shoulder blades.]I smell women, smell them in the air!
Think I'll drop me anchor in that harbor over there!
Oh gosh, my favourite musical
This is weird]
mine too! <3
[Butterfly keeps climbing up the cape, and remembers another snippet from the same song.]
Come on, Captain, you can wear your shoes,
Don't it make a change to have a girl who can't refuse?
no subject
Wwho is that?
important question: does your Dualscar have a purple streak in his hair?
Icons aside, he doesn't XD

Thankfully for her, this time around she's been incredibly wary of where she strides, taking to the skies most of the time. For the moment, she was quickly going from one location to the next. There happened to be another troll on the streets, and one that wasn't the Grand Highblood.
Oh hai Dualscar! She isn't big, purple, or hairy, but she's going to approach him from the right.]
Hello!

Hello, there.

Truthfully she really didn't, but she sliiightly caught itShe continued to keep herself at least a foot off the ground, staying wary of the older troll.]I see that you're one of the adults who decided to stay down here during this time.

Hello, Dualscar.
no subject
Good afternoon, Zelda. [Belatedly, he realizes she looks pretty upset] Is somethin wwrong?
no subject
Please, don't concern yourself overly much with it. I know that you all have a lot to worry about right now.
[It's difficult for her to admit out loud that she's not certain Sola will come back. He's not a person in the traditional sense, can he be revived?]
I have advised the other species in the bubble to avoid the situation as well, so you do not have to worry about that either.

Oh, I'm sorry.
[He looks up, but he doesn't show any surprise at the fact that Dualscar is a troll. He just puts his book down and looks concerned that such a happenstance had to happen.]
Did I hurt you?
[ooc: I hope you don't mind filling this permission post as to what Jacob can know about Dualscar, sghdsdfgh I just really want CR with him because he is lovely. ;;]
no subject
But before he can get too upset about it, the man apologizes quite sincerely. Dualscar's fins are still a bit ruffled, though. He's having a bad week]
No, a little thing like that wwouldn't hurt me. Wwhat the fuck are you doin', wwalking and reading at the same time?
[OOC: I filled it out! I'm not familiar with Jacob but from what I read I'm totally excited adgkghad;a]

[He smiles, though his blue eyes, which are surprisingly very ancient, pierce through Dualscar, as if he is looking through right to his very soul. But that piercing gaze is gone within a second or two, replaced by an amiable expression.]
Do you read much, incidentally?
no subject
[Dualscar meets those eyes and his own purple eyes narrow slightly. He feels that regard, but meets it boldly, and returns the gaze with a faint air of contempt, as if the human was measured and found wanting]
I read quite often, actually.
