[Dualscar's been mostly staying home for the last couple of days since the Grand Highblood arrived, but he can't stay in forever - for several reasons.

1. He's not a wiggler.

2. The Condesce is there and he doesn't want her to think he's a wiggler.

3. They need groceries.

So he ventures out for the first time in a while, striding purposefully through the streets with an eye out for anything big, purple, and hairy.

Not that he's scared, though. Oh no. Definitely not.]

[Grand Highblood? Sorry, not caring. Summoner's been out an about constantly, so it's not a surprise that he'd bump into Dualscar. He glanced his way when he landed, since, well, flying everywhere is a lot easier than walking, and he hasn't gotten it into routine to wear his enchanted earrings that much yet.]

[A glance in Dualscar's direction, he doesn't let the slight anger he feels towards the other bother him. Nothing would happen with Darkleer... right? Right, so no need to be hostile. Summoner will just acknowledge Dualscar's presence with a small wave of his hand and not too much hubbub. Then he'll just be on his way. Cordial, yep. No reason not to be. Plus the other troll seems a little tense.]

[It's almost an affront to see the lowblood so easygoing and flying about when Dualscar is feeling the prickles on his neck. Especially since the Summoner is just so casual. It has to be designed to rub Dualscar the wrong way. Summoner has to know what Dualscar is feeling right now, since he actually knows what happened to him!

It's just what Dualscar needs in his current mood.

He changes course and walks towards him, baring his teeth a bit]

Not hiding wwith the others, filth? Or are you lookin' for him?

[Uh, yeah, it's just for you... No it's not, he's just being nice. He said he'd give you a clean slate, remember?]

[Summoner pouts a little, staring awkwardly to the side as Dualscar stalks over. Not really sure... why he's doing that. Why does this guy have to always be so dramatic?]

Uhhh... No. I didn't run the last time that indick fuck was here, I'm not going to now. And last time I even got a lance through him. [Smile and a shrug.]

It was pretty funny.

And no, I'm just here, why would I be looking for him? I have other things to be doing with myself, you know.

[All that running around can really tire out a brother, and like any normal troll, he gets hungry. With the little information he received from the wary citizens of this silly little city, he decides it probably would be in his best interest to at least try it out.

But showing people his mark to receive goods is not something he really thinks about. Just taking shit it more his style, and he assumes that the mark is pretty visible enough as it is!

So despite what everyone thinks they know of the GHB, he's out in the open where he knows there's food, just doing his thing, not really caring if he knocks shit or even people over as he moves around. It's their fault for not moving the fuck out of the way when a lumbering giant approaches anyway.]

I thought maybe you wwere huntin' him at the orders a Karkat Vvantas.

[He is dramatic because romance is important, okay? And he's in a really bad mood. He pauses in front of the winged troll and looks him up and down. It's a bit public, but...]

[And Dualscar has just picked up a bag of groceries and exited a store, nearly bumping straight into the larger troll. He stops dead and looks up at the Grand Highblood, his lip lifting in a snarl, like a cornered dog.

He's not going to run. He's not. But he wants to.]

[Just an eyebrow raise at that.]

Uh... no. Where would you get that idea?

[That would men something if this was romantic. They're just casually talking, no hate here.]

Uh, ...somewhere. [Needed to get some alcohol for that new piercing on his septum. But... maybe he can get it later. Wtf is wrong with Dualscar.]

Just seems like the sort a thing Vvantas wwould havve you doing. But if not, then it doesn't sound like you're doing anything important.

[He smirks at Summoner, a glint in his eye]

Uh, I listen to the kid, but I'm doing well to stay out of the politics. This isn't the place for me to do that. [Points at Dualscar.]

I told you that, and I told him that. If anything, I keep my eyes and ears open, but no real orders unless, uh, it's something I really feel like I have to be getting myself doing.

[Okay that expression isn't... good. Another quirk of a brow and he shrugs, hands in his pockets.]

Uh, nah. I have some things to attend to, you know. [Smile.]

[There are so many prettily colored giants to land on around here! Butterfly has been flying around all day, singing and hassling meeting the inhabitants of this new place, and he needs a break. So when he sees a deliciously flapping purple cape, he flies over and lands on it, right between Dualscar's shoulder blades.]

[Dualscar can hear the singing, and he can't tell where it's coming from. He frowns and keeps walking, thinking to outpace it, but...

[Butterfly keeps climbing up the cape, and remembers another snippet from the same song.]

[By now, Butterfly has crawled up onto Dualscar's collar and perches there, lazily fanning his wings back and forth.]

[He catches the movement out of the corner of his eye and looks up to see the butterfly fanning itself. No, it can't be. The music can't be coming from the flutterbeast.

He tries to lean in closer, listening]

[This child should have been up on the island by now. To be honest, nah... she wasn't going to go up for a little bit longer. She was still making sure everyone was off. ... Just... in case... Someone was missing from the group.

Thankfully for her, this time around she's been incredibly wary of where she strides, taking to the skies most of the time. For the moment, she was quickly going from one location to the next. There happened to be another troll on the streets, and one that wasn't the Grand Highblood.

Oh hai Dualscar! She isn't big, purple, or hairy, but she's going to approach him from the right.]

[He steps closer, trying to subtly press the lowblood back against the nearest wall.]

Uh... oookay... I think there's a misunderstanding here.

[Um, that sure is a wall behind him, those sure are his wings flattening out between him and that apparent wall. That sure is Dualscar pretty close.]

[He turns, stiffening at the call. For a second he thinks it's the Summoner, but as she gets closer he blinks in surprise when he sees it's a wiggler. Her symbol is unfamiliar, but the colour of her wings marks her as a rustblood]
