[One of Night's favorite past times was going up to the island to do a number of things: hunt small wildlife, toss around in flowers, and sunbathe. The normal life of a cat, really.

But after a few recent events he feels like maybe coming up to the beach, not just by himself, but with everyone else, could be a good thing. Who didn't love being out in the sun all day?

Which is just what he does, leaving most everyone in the Villa a message asking them to join him at the beach Friday morning. It isn't a party only because he has no idea what to do or bring for a party, but the intent was to have fun and relax.]

[Nope. Nothing wrong at all with the two of them having the exact same outfit and looking... damn near like actual twins.

Rin just shrugs it off, and shifts one of the coolers down.]

Mind takin' these? I'm gonna go grab some tables and the grill we got stashed up here.

[He's so used to them looking alike by now it doesn't even phase him anymore.]

Yeah, sure. [And he lifts the coolrs off of Rin with ease, like they weigh less than a bag of feathers.] Where should I put 'em?

[If they wind up in the same Halloween costume I swear...]

[Don't test fate, Rin.

He sets them down where Rin tells him too and takes a seat on one, wiping some sand off of his hands.]

I see all your bruises healed up nicely.

You were starting to lag pretty early on... [Tail swish.] An' yeah, I know. Completely guilty, but totally worth it!

I'll come with you! [Already hopping up to walk with him, s'up.]

[Just gonna shuffle off in the direction of the huts. They had stuff stored in there after the whole bubble breaking fiasco.]

Following after, tail wagging happily behind him.

He's pretty quiet, but also relaxed so the silence doesn't bother him. It's a nice change from how he was last time they were up here.]

[This is true.

It takes a second to find the hut since they all look roughly the same, but soon enough he's got his house keys out and a door unlocked.

Most everything got taken back home, but the large out door grill, a few folding tables and some other remnants were left up there just for the sake of storage and easier access on the beach.]

Here we go.

[He walks over to the grill, opening the top curiously, his nose wrinkling at the smell of burnt charcoal. He glances back to Rin.]

We're taking this, right?

Yup-- [he stops, lifting the lid] eugh... I guess I forgot to clean it last time...

[Rin scratches the side of his head for a second, staring at the mess on the grill.

A glance around, though, and he locates a bucket with cleaning supplies just for that.]

I can clean it after we get it set up! I'll get this and the tables if you wanna drag the grill out.

[It's heavy, but luckily it has wheels.]

Oh yeah, make me do all the hard work! [He's joking. Sort of, but he'll start dragging it anyways (without much of a problem, it looks like).]

Yeah yeah, just haul the damn thing! These aren't light either!

[says the half demon as he picks up all four tables and props them up on his head with his arms like they're nothing more than a stack of light books.]

[Big babies. Both of them.]

You poor thing. [But he grins anyways.] If it's too much work for your scrawny arms I could always take the rest!

I can handle it! Shut up and haul!

Be careful or you'll hurt my feelings with those abusive words! Does Maka know how mean you can be? [He pouts comically at Rin, keeping up an easy pace as he hauls the grill.]

I'll show you some damn abuse if you don't quit complaining!

[Dramatically he slows down his pace, pretending to drag the grill like it was actually heavy. He reaches out for Rin.]

I- I can't go on... any longer! I think this is really it...!

I swear if you drop that thing you're gonna pay for anythin' that breaks!
