[One of Night's favorite past times was going up to the island to do a number of things: hunt small wildlife, toss around in flowers, and sunbathe. The normal life of a cat, really.

But after a few recent events he feels like maybe coming up to the beach, not just by himself, but with everyone else, could be a good thing. Who didn't love being out in the sun all day?

Which is just what he does, leaving most everyone in the Villa a message asking them to join him at the beach Friday morning. It isn't a party only because he has no idea what to do or bring for a party, but the intent was to have fun and relax.]

[And then there is Night, dressed appropriately for fun in the sun- that being all he has on is a pair of swimming trunks and no shirt. His tail swings out behind him slowly, for once actually out instead of being tucked away like usual. There seem to be some growing tan lines across his arms and legs, but he doesn't mind them.

Overall he looks pretty happy being outside in the shining, hot sun.]

[And here comes Rin, hauling two very large coolers full of food on his shoulders, wearing... the exact same shorts as Night.

He stops in front of the other demon, tilting his head to the side.]

Huh.

[Some time after the initial set up is finished for the get together, Rin is behind a grill near some folding tables now decked with checkered plastic table cloths and other ready to eat food. He's donned an apron over his swim shorts, but hasn't really bothered with a shirt. It's... attractive, right?

He'll probably have some one take over later so he can actually enjoy the beach trip, but for now, FOOD!]

[Making laps around the island on Zekrom's back isn't anything new for N. He does it at least every other day to make sure the massive legendary dragon gets out of his Pokeball and gets some exercise.

But today as he's making his way around, a glance down shows him that there's something interesting going on, on one side of the island. A get together of some sort.

He doesn't want to actually crash the party, but he does want a closer look, so he guides Zekrom to land some distance away, hopefully with minimal damage to any towels or table cloths with the sand Zekrom's wings and turbines kick up.]

[ This? This was the perfect thing Liz needed after waking up from a month-long nap, and was something she'd been wanting to do since before she fell asleep. She even had her suit all picked out and everything, she just never wanted to go up and hang out on the island by herself. It was outside and there were bugs and going to the beach alone was lame, anyway.

But now that it was a group thing, she was more than excited about it.

She brought up a rather large beach blanket with her, big enough to accommodate a couple people, as well as suntan lotion and an umbrella. She got everything set up for herself, making sure the umbrella covered a portion of the blanket for anyone who didn't want to lay directly in the sun. Liz herself sat on the side of the blanket under the warm rays and proceeded to rub the lotion onto her body.

She was gonna get so tan. ]

Hey Rin! Need help? [He notices the odd look after a beat.] ... Somethin' wrong?

... nope.

[Nope. Nothing wrong at all with the two of them having the exact same outfit and looking... damn near like actual twins.

Rin just shrugs it off, and shifts one of the coolers down.]

Mind takin' these? I'm gonna go grab some tables and the grill we got stashed up here.

[ A sudden stream of people going to the island is more than enough to catch this guy's attention, because, through his logic, if humans have to travel together to a place and remain there for a certain time, there's bound to be food. Were it not for his brother's intervention, he'd be fully clothed, though, but alas, tackiness will always be bound to his image so long as he hangs by Mephisto's side. Which will be forever. ]

[ Anyone who spots him might find him either stalking the grill, hunting for fruit, or perhaps looking for fish. Or, if they're really lucky, they might come across him making a rather elaborate sand sculpture of his brother. Because sand totally counts as earth and he just so happens to be the king of it. ]

[There's a tall shadow coming over her from behind-

and it offers her a cold soda drink.]

Thirsty? [Night smiles, his tail swaying slowly behind him.]

[ Man who's blocking her su--oh this is okay.

Liz tilts her head back at him and smiles, reaching up to accept the soda. ]

Thanks! And you know what, you're just in time.

[ She cracks the drink open and takes a sip before lifting the bottle of lotion she had set beside her. ]

Put this on my back for me?

[He's so used to them looking alike by now it doesn't even phase him anymore.]

Yeah, sure. [And he lifts the coolrs off of Rin with ease, like they weigh less than a bag of feathers.] Where should I put 'em?

[Yukio's used to spending his mornings on the island getting beat up sparring with Night, so the idea of a simple gathering (while not a favorite way to spend his time) is far preferable. He's a bit overdressed for the beach in shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals, but he's found a nice sized rock to perch on. He's even got a boring looking book in one hand.

It's all very Yukio.]

[What are those shorts he's wearing...

It's a little weird for him to see the King of Earth building sand castles, but he's sure it could be worse.

Although he's starting to regret having his tail out right now, if Amaimon was here.

He holds out a (wrapped) popsicle to him.] What are you making?

[If they wind up in the same Halloween costume I swear...]

Thanks. Uh... lessie, over under that tree should be a good place for everythin'!

[ And from where his beach chair is, he's just going to be quietly observing the construction of his magnificence in sand.

Hmm... he's slightly reminded of his Mepphyland statue.

But hold on... ]

Are my hips really that wide?

[Like you were gonna get away from your brother for very long. Silly Yukio.]

If you're gonna be all borin' and read a book, 'least you can do is have some food.

[Oops, here comes Night from behind, peering over his shoulder with no care for Yukio's personal bubble.]

You brought a book?

... Huh?

[He blinks, but takes the bottle with a curious look. Oh.] Alright...

[Might as well plop down behind her, squirting some into the palm of his hand.]

What is this stuff?

[ In a split second, the popsicle is already in his mouth, the wrapper itself floating slowly toward the ground. When did he even look away? ]

A sculpture of aniue. [ He rolls the popsicle in his mouth once, then twice, his focus never once shifting from the statue to Night. ]

[Don't test fate, Rin.

He sets them down where Rin tells him too and takes a seat on one, wiping some sand off of his hands.]

I see all your bruises healed up nicely.

[Someone brought water guns.

Guess that means go wild and destroy anyone who refuses to get in the water.

Victims beware.]

[ RIP Mepphyland statue. One day Rin shall be brought to justice for defiling Mephisto's image in such a crude way. Except he already got beat up that day so everything is fine and dandy. His attention is grabbed by his brother's statement, to which Amaimon responds by wordlessly getting up, approaching Mephisto, and looking him up and down repeatedly. He then returns to his sculpture. ]

Hm.....

[ HMMMMMMM... ]

No, they're perfectly accurate.

[ He does not yet understand the concept of a white lie, sadly. ]

[That is really unnerving to him.]

Why?

[Doesn't he do that like every damn day of his life?]

[ Indeed, why? Such a marvelous philosophical question, pertaining to the various depths of the human, or in this case, demonical mind. Why indeed was he making that statue? Was there some intrinsic value? Was it an offering to his brother? Perhaps, in a fit of boredom, it was the first model to come to mind. We will never know, but it stands as a fact that there is a plethora of reasons as to why Amaimon could be building a statue of Mephisto. ]
