[Sanji is making his way up to Renge's apartment, arms laden with bags and a little skip in his step because he gets to make an awesome meal tonight~!

The mere thought has him all aflutter, and it's with a big, goofy grin on his face that he knocks on Renge's door.]

Well. [Spreads his arms wide.] Hopefully I'm not a disappointment.

[Once she was done squeeing a bit on the inside and somewhat on the outside, she crosses her arms.]

We'll see. I haven't made my mind up if you are or not.

[Might get a bit overcome at whatever outward squeeing she's doing, and gets a derpy look on his face.]

Great~ I'll be looking forward to it, but first since I'm not exactly a cook. it's why I asked you to come.

[Which is true because she was rich and cooks did it for her.]

To show you what I can do, right?

[Spots a knife set in a storage block on one of the counters and sets down the bags he was holding so he can go over and look at them. He pulls a few out, examining them, testing their weight, flipping them in his hands.]

Is there anything in particular you'd like me to make?

[She shakes her head, there wasn't much she was thinking of to have.]

Surprise me.

[Big, huge grin. Surprise you? He can do that.]

Alright~

[He sets the knives down and then starts pulling random ingredients out of the bags he brought with him, placing everything on one of the counters.]

Do you like fish?

I can eat pretty much anything. [And drink almost anything tea wise. Instant coffee on the other hand is a no no.]

[Out of habit, Sanji just kind of makes the kitchen his own for a minute here, clearing off a space on the counter and wiping it down. Then he pulls out a fairly large fish from one of the bags.]

Then I'm making crab stuffed flounder.

[He unwraps it and, before the sight of said large fish gets too disturbing (if Renge would even be grossed out by that kind of thing, Sanji's not sure, but it's best to be safe), Sanji quickly chops off the head and expertly debones the whole thing before cutting it into fillets. The rest gets swept into a bag and tucked out of view of any delicate lady's eyes.]

[Renge had decided to take seat at the edge of the kitchen, she needed to watch and this seemed like the best place in which to do it without getting in too close. She didn't seem to disturbed about it as she just watched.]

Crab sounds delightful. it's been a while since I had anything like that.

[Grins over at her, his hands almost a blur as they work to prepare everything.]

You seem like the sort who'll actually appreciate fine cuisine, Renge-chan. Some of my crew mates, shit, I could put a plate of table scraps in front of them and they'd still inhale it without noticing the difference.

[Gives a long-suffering sigh.]

[She shrugs slightly.]

Well of course. I'm use to fine cuisine, it's something I've grown up on. So I think things like... food scraps sounds like a commoners thing. But that could be me.

[Snorts.]

Commoners. Ha, that's a pretty damn accurate description.

[Finishes getting the fish ready and puts everything into the oven to cook.]

There, that shouldn't take too long. Can I get you a drink in the meantime?

[She sits there politely.]

Just a tea for now. I would ask for a coffee, but they don't really have the kind I like around here.

[Starts making her tea!]

Oh? What kind do you like?

[She watches carefully. She's never actually seen how the servants make tea, so it's a first.]

Usually the most rich types of tea. It ultimately depends on what I'm having. Here it's just a simple plain tea, currently.

Heh, I meant what kind of coffee. I was wondering if they had anything decent down here.

[Slides her tea over to her, then checks the fish.]

Wine, too. Haven't had much of a chance to check out the options, otherwise I'd have brought one to serve with the fish.

I think they have instant stuff, but since I'm not a fan of that kind of thing, I don't touch it.

[She sighs.]

Wine is for adults, I have yet to reach that age of maturity yet, but there are places that sell it if you should need it for yourself in the future.

[Raises an eyebrow.]

Huh. Sorry, almost forgot things like shitty drinking ages exist. Well, I suppose it's not important. And looks like the fish is done. [lol MAGICAL SUPER FAST COOKING FISH. >.>]

[Takes it out of the oven and gets plates out to serve it.]

[She just laughs slightly.]

It varies at home depending on the country, so I could be too young one place, but old enough in another, who knows.

[She looks on at the fish, she's getting a little bit excited about trying it actually.]

Makes sense. There’s probably people on my crew too young to drink, but eh. Pirates.

[He grins, then with a flourish sets a beautifully plated serving of the fish in front of her.]

[Picking up the fork, she finally dug it and very politely took a bite.]
