Where: Renge's place
When: Some night this week
What: Cookingdate meet-up! So Sanji can show Renge his skillz.

[Sanji is making his way up to Renge's apartment, arms laden with bags and a little skip in his step because he gets to make an awesome meal tonight~!
For a girl.
Gasp.
The mere thought has him all aflutter, and it's with a big, goofy grin on his face that he knocks on Renge's door.]

Welcome~

[Swoops into a low bow, and produces a bouquet of flowers out of nowhere to hand to her.]
You're looking lovely tonight! How are you?
no subject
Good evening, please do make your way in. [She moves to the side, going to the kitchen to find a vase and water.]
I'm doing wonderfully, I've been very busy with work and setting things up. Yourself?
no subject
Kind of the opposite of busy. I'm still settling into this shitty place, trying to figure things out. What kind of work do you do?
[Oh hey, kitchen! Sanji looks around, admiring the shiny appliances and such.]
You have a very nice home, Renge-chan!
no subject
I'm an artist so to speak. [She soon reaches the kitchen, one she very rarely uses.] Thank you. Though it's not a mansion, like the ones I am use to.
no subject
[Raises an eyebrow at that last thing.]
You live in a mansion where you're from? [Whistles.] Damn. I live on a ship, heh. Not nearly as big as what you're used to.
no subject
[Though at the mention of living on a ship had her interested.]
You mean like a pirate?
no subject
[Big grin.] Exactly like a pirate.
no subject
Oh, wow. I've never seen a real pirate before.
no subject
no subject
We'll see. I haven't made my mind up if you are or not.
no subject
I'll do my best to me an amazing pirate for you Renge-chwaaan~!!
no subject
[Which is true because she was rich and cooks did it for her.]

[Spots a knife set in a storage block on one of the counters and sets down the bags he was holding so he can go over and look at them. He pulls a few out, examining them, testing their weight, flipping them in his hands.]
Is there anything in particular you'd like me to make?
no subject
Surprise me.
no subject
Alright~
[He sets the knives down and then starts pulling random ingredients out of the bags he brought with him, placing everything on one of the counters.]
Do you like fish?
no subject
no subject
[Out of habit, Sanji just kind of makes the kitchen his own for a minute here, clearing off a space on the counter and wiping it down. Then he pulls out a fairly large fish from one of the bags.]
Then I'm making crab stuffed flounder.
[He unwraps it and, before the sight of said large fish gets too disturbing (if Renge would even be grossed out by that kind of thing, Sanji's not sure, but it's best to be safe), Sanji quickly chops off the head and expertly debones the whole thing before cutting it into fillets. The rest gets swept into a bag and tucked out of view of any delicate lady's eyes.]

Crab sounds delightful. it's been a while since I had anything like that.
no subject
You seem like the sort who'll actually appreciate fine cuisine, Renge-chan. Some of my crew mates, shit, I could put a plate of table scraps in front of them and they'd still inhale it without noticing the difference.
[Gives a long-suffering sigh.]
no subject
Well of course. I'm use to fine cuisine, it's something I've grown up on. So I think things like... food scraps sounds like a commoners thing. But that could be me.
no subject
Commoners. Ha, that's a pretty damn accurate description.
[Finishes getting the fish ready and puts everything into the oven to cook.]
There, that shouldn't take too long. Can I get you a drink in the meantime?
no subject
[She sits there politely.]
Just a tea for now. I would ask for a coffee, but they don't really have the kind I like around here.
no subject
Oh? What kind do you like?
no subject
Usually the most rich types of tea. It ultimately depends on what I'm having. Here it's just a simple plain tea, currently.
no subject
[Slides her tea over to her, then checks the fish.]
Wine, too. Haven't had much of a chance to check out the options, otherwise I'd have brought one to serve with the fish.
no subject
[She sighs.]
Wine is for adults, I have yet to reach that age of maturity yet, but there are places that sell it if you should need it for yourself in the future.
no subject
Huh. Sorry, almost forgot things like shitty drinking ages exist. Well, I suppose it's not important. And looks like the fish is done. [lol MAGICAL SUPER FAST COOKING FISH. >.>]
[Takes it out of the oven and gets plates out to serve it.]
no subject
It varies at home depending on the country, so I could be too young one place, but old enough in another, who knows.
[She looks on at the fish, she's getting a little bit excited about trying it actually.]
no subject
[He grins, then with a flourish sets a beautifully plated serving of the fish in front of her.]
Enjoy, mademoiselle~!
no subject
Lets hope this tastes as well as it looks.
[Picking up the fork, she finally dug it and very politely took a bite.]
It's delicious.
no subject
I'm glad you think so, Renge-chan!
