[True to Gamzee's word, on Sunday afternoon, there is indeed stuff on the beach fit for a beach party. Which, lets all be honest here, is something we should congratulate him on cause the chances of him forgetting a party he suggested in the first place are about 42.0% .

It is very clearly not a strictly organized beach party however. A variety of beach related things (seriously, the shopkeepers were hella awesome here and had gladly helped Gamzee bring up a whole load of shit he hadn't even known existed) lay strewn on the sand, everything from beach balls to small, colourful shovels for sand castle building (no buckets, wow, what was he, some kinda perv?) to various drink coolers stocked with faygo, faygo, some more faygo, and just for the people wanting something different, some faygo too.

Hope you like faygo.

Or brought your own drinks.

But seriously, anything you might need to have fun at a beach party is there (except, as mentioned, tiny plastic buckets, please this is a very culturally sensitive beach party) up to a few surf boards, even. So grab whatever you want, find a friend or make a new one, and have some fun.]

[Nepeta may have accidentally done that before. Several times. And been forbidden from eating too much ice cream by her moirail.]

[Careful, Leo, you really don't want a disgruntled Equius knocking at your door to see why his tiny moirail went ahead and gorged on too much ice cream yet again.]

Okay, the elevator is here! Now it's just a few streets away. [Really, she could probably get there blindfolded.]

Sweet.

[He steps off the elevator and follows her lead. As they get closer to the ice cream shop he realizes he's passed the place several times since he first arrived here, but like many of the places here, he hasn't had the chance to check it out.]

[Nepeta finally lets go of his hand and hurries on ahead, flattening her face against the window, her tail a flurry of excited activity.]

[Leo approaches the shop a little more slowly and opens the door.]

I'll let the purrty lady go first.

Okay! Thank you!

[She rushes in, repeating the same face-to-the-glass trick as before, but this time with the ice cream display case. A look of horror has come over the salesperson's face, and she seems to be trying to hide behind the counter.]

[The display case is huge an full of so many flavors that Leo can't even begin to decide where to start. His eyes are jumping around without taking the time to process anything like the names of the flavors or what even looks good. Tossing a kid who's ADHD in front of this many ice cream options was not a good idea. And also why he usually defaulted to chocolate. Everyone had it and you couldn't go wrong with it.

Leo focuses his attention on the salesperson.]

We'll take 6 scoops and she can pick which flavors.

[Whether or not Nepeta manages to stick to only six flavors is another story.]

[The salesperson gives him a nod, but she seems to be visibly sweating in spite of the cold inside of the shop. Nepeta is more or less frozen in front of the ice cream display, having a terminal case of choice overload.

Six whole scoops! Any flavours?! How is she supposed to do this??]

[Maybe that was a bad idea. Speaking to the salesperson again.]

Uh... just surprise us with your six favorite flavors.

[She wants to pick! Really she does! But how?! So many...]

[He turns to look at Nepeta.]

You got some ideas then? We can always narrow it down some.

Mint chocolate chip! [That one is essential, because it combines hers and Tavros' colours.] And blueberry. Uhmm...I guess the others can be a surprise?

[This is possibly the fastest Nepeta has ever chosen anything. Well done, Leo. Well done indeed.]

Nice choices.

[He would take a bow if he knew he deserved to. Anyway, the shop keeper scoops out the two flavors Nepeta chose and then a scoop of pina colada, superman, strawberry cheesecake and mocha. A mix of flavors that would likely taste terrible when they melted.]
