[True to Gamzee's word, on Sunday afternoon, there is indeed stuff on the beach fit for a beach party. Which, lets all be honest here, is something we should congratulate him on cause the chances of him forgetting a party he suggested in the first place are about 42.0% .

It is very clearly not a strictly organized beach party however. A variety of beach related things (seriously, the shopkeepers were hella awesome here and had gladly helped Gamzee bring up a whole load of shit he hadn't even known existed) lay strewn on the sand, everything from beach balls to small, colourful shovels for sand castle building (no buckets, wow, what was he, some kinda perv?) to various drink coolers stocked with faygo, faygo, some more faygo, and just for the people wanting something different, some faygo too.

Hope you like faygo.

Or brought your own drinks.

But seriously, anything you might need to have fun at a beach party is there (except, as mentioned, tiny plastic buckets, please this is a very culturally sensitive beach party) up to a few surf boards, even. So grab whatever you want, find a friend or make a new one, and have some fun.]

[Windows and battlements are good! Much better than filling moats from buckets. And Kurloz might surreptitiously try to push the bucket away.

As for the question, he ponders for a while, then picks up one of the shells on the beach, and sticks it onto the castle as decoration.]

[Lloyd quickly catches on, perking up with enthusiasm.]

Good idea! Here, let me get more shells.

[Raking his fingers through the sand, it isn't long before he's found a few more shells to pluck out, as well as some various sized pebbles. The shells go to Kurloz, but the rocks he keeps for himself, and soon he's lining a path to the moat. Distraction successful, Kurloz! Lloyd doesn't even notice the bucket being nudged aside!]

This is going to be the best sand castle!

[Kurloz nods, finishes moving the bucket aside, and starts in on decorating the castle. Hopefully Lloyd will be paying attention to it, because if he doesn't, their castle will end up decorated with a creepy smiling face.]

[Lloyd's not paying attention at first, caught up in doing his own thing with his rocks, but soon enough he glances over.]

Hey, is that a face?

[Once he takes a second glance, though...]

Er... it looks like it's staring at me.

[zipperlips]

[Kurloz nods, and after a moment of contemplation, makes a few adjustments that don't change the impression that it's staring. He seems pretty proud of it, too. This must be revenge for the bucket.]

That's not any better. Now it looks like it's going to eat me.

[Alkajsdfsal Kurloz just turned their castle into a sand monster. HOW CAN THAT COMPARE TO A BUCKET?]

I'm serious! Those shells make it look like it has teeth!

[He nods again, more thoughtfully, then turns to look at Lloyd and gives him a pouty look. What, does Lloyd not think that's a good thing? Clearly he's going to make Kurloz sad by saying that.]

[Who thinks it's a good thing when their own sand castle looks like it wants to take a bite out of your flesh?]

What's that look for? What, you want it to look that scary?

[zipperlips]

[He stares for several moments longer, but then nods. As far as he’s concerned, that’s how castles are supposed to look. He should know. He lived on a beach.]

[redcladidealist]

[Still staring at Kurloz, it only registers after some moments just who it is he's talking to here. Or, rather, that he's saying these things to a troll who's dressed and painted as a skeleton, with lips that are literally sewn shut. Someone like that probably does like pretty scary things.

Still, Lloyd shakes his head.]

You're kind of weird, you know that?

[Though the way he says that, it doesn't sound like he means that as an insult.]

If that's how you really want it, I guess I can live with that. Just, you know, so long as it doesn't really eat me.

[Yeah, he's drawing the line right there.]

[zipperlips]

[He shrugs, but nods. Of course he knows that. He'll still do his best to convince Lloyd that it's harmless weirdness, though. Because that's what most of it is.

Then, he nods again. It definitely won't eat Lloyd. In fact, he thinks Lloyd's pretty silly for saying that.]

[Hey, in a world where monsters can look like all sorts of things, even plants or rocks, Lloyd thinks it's a pretty valid concern! After all, who knows how such monsters are made?]

So...

[He turns his attention back to the castle, eying it critically.]

Think we should add anything else to it? I think it looks pretty good. [Creepy, but good.]

[zipperlips]

[Kurloz contemplates the castle, shrugs, then shakes his head. He thinks it looks pretty damn awesome, bucket used in the making aside.]

[It is always, always an awesome feeling to have someone validate your opinion. Lloyd grins and stands up, brushing the sand off his knees.]

That was fun.

[But it is starting to get a little late, the sun dipping closer to the horizon.]

I probably ought to go find something to eat. Hey, maybe we can do something again sometime.
