A questing we will go!

Who: Fai and Anyone!
When: All this week and next
Where: All over the place. Quests galore!

Fai was rather excited to get his powers back. Or rather..powers in general. They weren't his powers since he had never been able to use fire and water before, but just being able to enjoy magic in general again was a rather exciting thing. After testing out his new abilities he decided to explore and see what he could do to take full advantage of this particular curse or event or whatever it was that was going on.

To see the bubble world like this was rather naustalgic. It reminded him of the virtual world he had traveled to once. On that world he had simply been a cafe owner. But now he actually got to enjoy going out and doing quests and helping others versus just gathering information.

After checking out the quests and collecting..a lot of them..Fai started on his journey around the town to fulfill them.

Italy was very diligent, humming a tune has he efficiently mopped the floor. He was very good at it, and he wasn't necessarily going to stop until he was done.

Fai was fairly pleased with the progress they were making. The store was looking better then new. Even went and helped with a few smaller tasks that the store clerks needed.

Italy moved to polishing the counters. He was intent on making the whole place sparkle.

Fai put away his own cleaning supplies and went on a hunt for food supplies. He might as well go and do a little bit of shopping while they were there.

Italy began putting the final polish on the place. "Ve, I could really use a snack or some pasta right now~"

Fai came up and held out a small package of cookies. "Pasta isn't very good for carrying around, so how about some cookies instead?"

"Ve, I carry pasta around a lot, but cookies are really good too~" Italy grinned. He'd found the joy of tubberware and carried fresh pasta in it. He hadn't quite found a good way to carry fresh cheese, however. It always got too hot and sweaty. Sweaty cheese wasn't good.

But cookies. Yes, cookies!

Fai nodded enthusiastically about the cookies being good then walked over to the stock boy. "Always make sure you keep things nice and tidy around here so the customers will be happy. I'm not going to tell you this again." Even though Fai was scolding him his tone was still playful. Just then he heard a crash somewhere in the store and can see the the cashier starting to flail from their position at the register. "Time to do your job again!" He started to usher the stock boy off, who went to go collect the supplies again with a disgruntled huff.

Fai then turned back to Italy. "Shall we move on to the next quest? Gardening can be fun~" The weeds on this quest were particularly annoying though. But at least they don't seem to hurt people.

Italy jumped at the sound, quickly pulling a white flag from his pocket, but he stopped when he noticed Fai hadn't exactly moved. It was probably just a noise anyway, not a battle or a threat. As long as the giant monsters didn't come by again, all was good.

He nodded at Fai's question, stuffing the white flag back into his pocket. "Si, I love gardening~"

"Great! Let's head that way. Look at all the points you're going to be getting today from all of this." Fai was glad he could help the guy. It was obvious he wasn't going to do well on his own. He lead them to the door then back out on the street to head to the next place.

"Si, si, this is great!" Italy certainly wouldn't survive on his own. He was more accustomed to surrendering or calling Germany to come save him. Unfortunately neither was a feasible option for this sort of quest stuff. He didn't know how to fight. Germany tried teaching him and he just would rather sleep.

Fai would keep the guy as safe as he could while they headed to the next job. He knew they wouldn't have too much daylight time left to get the gardening done, but it should be enough to help at least a little. "I like these better then the ones that involve fighting."

Italy nodded. "This is fun! Much better than fighting." Italy would rather do most things other than fight. Like cooking, cleaning, painting, and sleeping. All very good options and very enjoyable. He'd leave the fighting to the other countries.

"Unfortunately the ones where you fight seem to give the greatest reward. I guess that is because your life is in danger so it is worth more. Makes sense but I still would like to avoid it if I could."

They reach the park and Fai shook his head when he saw the weeds. "They are rather pesky. Let's get started! We need to save the roots so we can show them to the person in charge of the quest."

"I'd rather avoid fighting," Italy agreed. The reward was high, but the risk was too. That risk was scary. He'd leave it to the people less scared.

"Ve, those are some big weeds." No matter, Italy was diligent and could help dig them up. Keeping the roots made sense. They wanted proof.

Fai knelt down and helped pull a few of them, setting them into a big pile. This was probably going to take them longer then the cleaning did. "They also grow very fast. I was here a few days ago doing this but it doesn't look like it at all."

"Those are some weeds!" Italy marveled as he dug into the ground to find the root. To think that the weeds would regrow that quickly and this strong! That meant they could come and help again later~

"We can do this every day to help out if you would like. Lots of points that way! And no fighting involved~" Fai of course was going to go out and do some of the bigger quests once in awhile, but that didn't mean the guy couldn't come and handle some weeding on his own.

"Si, that sounds great!" No fighting and getting points? This was definitely a good deal. Whatever the points were, he didn't know, but it was fun collecting them.

"We've been pretty busy today. We'll sleep really well tonight." Fai sat down on the ground and pulled a few more weeds.

"Si, si! And we can have a big dinner before bed too. I'll make spaghetti bolognese~" Oh how Italy did love his spaghetti. "I'll make enough for both of us~"

"I'll look forward to that! Do we need to get any supplies or do you think the inn will have everything?"

Fai was almost done with his pile of weeds. He knew they would have to make a detour to drop them off but that wouldn't take long.

"The inn should have everything I need," Italy nodded. The ingredients were pretty standard, Italy thought. And besides, his house was much too far away to get ingredients from there.

Italy had successfully dug up several weeds with very large, long roots.

Fai collected his roots and stood up. "Let's go deliver these and then head back to the inn."

Italy nodded and gathered the roots in his arms. "That sounds good~ Then I can start making some food~"
