Who: Zelda, Tieria, Mr. Crocker, Yomiel. Zelos if he's home and pokes his head in!
When: February 2nd
Where: Zelda's house
Style: Action plz?
Status: Closed
[Zelda has cleaned her living room up and set up for tea in preparation for the day. She's attempted to hideZelos's candy factory the kitchen from view by keeping the door shut. Not that it does much to hide the scent of chocolate that permeates the entire house... Now all she has to do is wait for people to arrive!]
((OOC note: Zelda's asked Mr. Crocker and Yomiel to come at different times so the house doesn't get too full, so start separate threads for them in here please <3))

Hello, Tieria. Please, come in. Don't mind the smell, my housemate thinks that it is his sworn duty to provide chocolates to every single woman in Vatheon.
no subject
It is fine. It is at least a pleasant smell.
no subject
It is. And he doesn't go cheap either, so it's not too cloying I suppose.
[Zelda leads Tieria to the living room. She's already got tea set out, carefully selected so it doesn't clash with the smell of chocolate in the air.]
Sit anywhere you like. Yomiel should be here before long.
no subject
It will be easy to become accustomed to.
[He sat down when offered.]
Good. I have a few different methods I would like him to try to break through. I was working with the communicator to see what kind of encryption capabilities it possesses.
no subject
Is it difficult to work with? Do you feel like you have a handle on it?
no subject
thrrrreadjack!
He wasn't exactly evesdropping, but when you have superhuman hearing it's hard not to notice the conversations around you. Or, y'know, quietly being held in the next room.
Zelos pokes his pony-tailed head out of the kitchen door, arms still occupied with his mixing bowl and whisk.]
What exactly are you two conspiring about out here?

Yomiel
[Yomiel had been asked about hacking into a filter. Not too hard, he supposes. It wasn't like trying to rebuild an entire computer system by hand (which he had done), or scrubbing a computer completely clean of all viruses (which was also something he had done). It was just a bit of hacking, that was all. But really, he's curious as to what sort of filter they want him to break into.]
Hey, it's Yomiel. Let me in?
no subject
Hello, there. It's good to meet you in person. Thank you for coming on such short notice, I really appreciate it.
[She steps to the side to allow Yomiel in.]
no subject
Yomiel, is it? I am Tieria Erde.
no subject
[He smiles slightly at Zelda, and steps in to catch sight of Tieria. He returns the greeting with a two-fingered salute.]
Nice to meet ya. Are you here for the filter break-in, too?
no subject
[Zelda gestures for them both to sit down.]
Tieria has created the filter. If you would be so kind as to report any holes you might find, it would be appreciated.
no subject
[He went back to sit down again.]
I have created a few options for us to work with. What I would like to determine is which is the most secure option and how we can improve on it.
[He wasn't used to asking for help, but he couldn't deny Zelda's logic in having others participate in something like this. The communicators were not what he was used to from home, and, while his skills with a computer were quite vast, an unfamiliar system and protocol was something he admitted that having help with was a practical decision.]
sorry for the latenesss ffffff
[He nods and wanders over, sitting down on the couch next to Tieria.]
Okay, hand the SFC over to me with the options set in place. I'll look through the coding first and see if there are any holes there, then I will use an external source, namely, another SFC, and try to hack into it from the inside to see if it is effective or not.
It's alright <3
I'm slow, too... no worries!

MOTHER! It's not like that!
[Yeah, fifty - three years living with your mother doesn't help.]
Oh, right.

Hello, Mr. Crocker. Thank you for coming on such short notice. Please, come in.
no subject
Yes, yes. Hello. Miss - ZELDA!
[Slighly jerking his body in a spazz. He pauses for a moment before stepping in.]
Well, I haven't much to do at the moment. Besides trying to answer some questions, anyways.
[Sniff sniff]
If that chocolate?
no subject
Yes, that is my housemate. Please don't mind him.
[She leads him to the living room. There are plenty of chairs as well as a couch. What do, Crocker - be the awkward guy who sits down right next to the person already in the room or shuffle over to another chair?]
no subject
Hello.
no subject
Um, hello... Mmmm... Awkward. So -
[Turns to Zelda]

[She gestures for both of them to sit.]
Tieria has been working on a filter of sorts. Mr. Crocker, we would like you to try to hack through it, find any security holes... that sort of thing.
no subject
I have created a few options for us to work with. If you would take a look, I'd like to make sure I have not missed anything on them and then perhaps take some recommendations on which is the most secure.
[While this wasn't something he'd normally ask for back-up on, he was unfamiliar with the device compared to systems back home. So, having a second opinion was a tactically sound idea, and quite practical in this situation. Tieria was very adept with technology simply because of his nature as an Innovade, but he had not yet attempted to connect to the device with his quantum brainwaves to enhance any of his work. He wasn't sure if he wanted to leave himself quite that vulnerable without someone he trusted from home.]
