Someone Give The Girl a Hug [or a Fight] Already
When: Afternoon
Where: Park!
Style: Whatever you want you get.
Status: Open Sesame Street
Selphie was counting down the number of close friends that she had left. Think of all your friends, think of the people here who want to help you, that's the kind of things that people said to those who had a friend return home. That's almost what Guy had said to her when Kenshin left. Sure. And one of those few friends who had tried to help was back home. Disappeared. Gone - and Cain had been so helpful to her, and so friendly too. He was the first person in a very long time to open their doors to her, to treat her like a wanted guest.
This time, Selphie's energy is channelled into sheer anger, at the lovely park, of all places. If Vatheon was a person, Selphie would have slaughtered them. As it was, she has drawn a shaky outline of a human figure on a tree in the park, and has started directing heavy blows at it with her nunchaku. The young woman is getting so worked up that the occasional burst of fire appears - enough to burn the bark for just a moment. Here's hoping she doesn't start a forest fire.

What he found was Selphie hard at work with her nunchaku. It was pretty impressive to watch, but there was quite some fury behind her blows. He knew that sign all too well.
He walked over, but kept at a distance. If he didn't get noticed by her after a few more moments, he would make himself known. For know, he'll watch. Selphie had said she was a soldier, too, so this was a good way to see her skills without being too invasive about it.

However, she was so completely in full swing that she neglected to stop herself from wasting her energy on her magic, and...oops. There goes a fire spell. The tree caught light immediately, and that had Selphie back to reality in an instant. It took her a moment or two of fumbling with her weapon before she was able to manage a small blizzard spell to get rid of the flames.

Obviously the dame was mad.
Throwing caution to the side, as usual, Bugs climbed out of the ground and walked casually towards her.
"Didn't tink ya could hit like dat, doll."

"Whatsa matter, Phie-Phie? Was that tree a meanie?" Edward asks, her arms hanging down below her head as she hangs there. Ed's small brown corgi Ein walks out from below the tree Ed was currently hanging from, his expressive eyes showing a surprisingly large amount of sympathy for a dog.

Her eyes move between Ed and Ein, and she takes a small step back from the tree, "I guess...?"

Ed saunters over to her dog and throws him into the air and catches him on the way back down. The dog seemingly was quite used to this as he does not react other then to adjust himself in her arms once he is caught. Ed smiles at Selphie, with Ein held in her arms.

the heck notifs - sorry for laaateee

At least he's not suffering the same need for ridiculous expenditure of energy as some, though it is what causes him to stop ambling about for a moment. Waste. Hand in his pocket, he just sort of watches; the flames are reason enough to stay put. Not his business, but fire and vegetation don't get along. But for chrissakes, a tree? Really?
"Doubt it's ever done much more'n let you breathe, kid." Really must be feelin' the caged animal thing if he's willingly engaging with anyone. Tch.
no subject
When Selphie turned towards the speaker, she was still in a battle stance, nunchaku ready to hit out again. She glanced him over quickly, then gave a quick shrug before lashing out at the tree one more time. "Breathe? Really? In this bubble?" Though she did feel pretty bad about the state it was in.
Sorry, I fell off the face of Vat for a while there ;;;;
Normally, Sol wouldn't have bothered with anything remotely like this; he wasn't a babysitter, and normally--as in, when not trapped in a godforsaken bubble--he'd have better things to do. But without that and wanting to avoid any possible far-reaching trouble?
"'Less they're filterin' oxygen in through th'ocean, an' I ain't seen any evidence'f that."
No worries! ^___^
Her nunchaku fell limp in her hands as she just looked at the guy for a moment. "Well, I can stop, if you're worried about me killing everyone... Or, y'know, if you're worried about the tree." Excuse the teasing, but Selphie didn't think he looked like much of a tree-lover.

And so he spotted Selphie~
Italy was quite oblivious to her anger, choosing to approach and offer a rather large (nearly a pounce) hug with a loud greeting, "Seeelphiiiee~!"
no subject
Selphie yelped and stared at Italy with wide eyes, unable to hug back until the end of her weapon hits something, and hopefully not Italy.
no subject
It was okay, though. He knew she didn't mean it. He got beat up all the time, anyway.
