Who: Dr. Franken Stein, Pip the Eevee, and you. Also some ducks.
When: Today, Feb 12th
Where: Around Vatheon.
What: Pip will never manage to figure out that ducks and other small critters aren't Pokemon.
Status: Open!

[Pip hatched from an egg that Death the Kid found in the fridge in the Soul Eater cast's villa about a year and a half ago. Somehow, he still hasn't quite figured out that the non-humans here in Vatheon aren't Pokemon for him to fight with.

And for some reason, Pip has been in a mood to pick fights recently. So, if you have an animal, or if you are an animal, or maybe if you're a troll, there is a (slightly pudgy) fox-like creature suddenly attacking with a jumping tackle.

Alternatively, Pip is trying to fight ducks using that same jumping tackle. The ducks are not very amused. Some of them run off, but then Pip goes after a goose. The goose is almost exactly what he was looking for in an opponent, though it's not very good at taking turns.

Dr. Stein is being very responsible and keeping track of the Eevee.

Actually no, he's just taking notes on Pip's behavior and watching in amusement.]

[Stein chuckles, bending down to pick Pip up. The eevee squirms slightly, but doesn't really complain.]

He could use someone monitoring his diet. [Pip could stand to lose some weight.]

I didn't realize there were other pokemon here. They'd make better companions than the ducks.

[Pip will become an adorable fast eevee one day]

If you want me to show you one, I can show you one right now! Hm...I got 6 of them with me soooooo...pick a number between 1-6 and you'll see one right away!

[Will you choose a big flaming pig, a pink anteater thing who I have no idea is suppose to be, a green money, a kung-fu weasel, a giant dog, or a fire chandelier?]

Okay then...c'mon on out Mienshao!

[Hi Stein, you get a kung fu weasel! As soon as she gets out, she quickly looks around before spotting a familiar looking pokemon.

"Hello, Pip, how are you tonight?" But she does look at Stein a bit strangely though.]

Meet Meinshao! She's one of the last pokemon that I travel with but she's just as important as every one of them!

[Fascinating. Stein smiles, nods at the weasel-thing.]

Hello, Meinshao.

[Pip chirps excitedly, circling Meinshao at a trot, tail wagging. "Hey! How are you! Did you see those things run?"]

[She takes a small bow at him before walking over to the young pokemon.

"Yes, I have and you should be more careful about it!" Mamabear Meinshao mode is on!]

By the way...how much do you know about pokemon anyway? What did Kid or Maka tell you about Pip?

They don't know much. Pip came from an egg, he apparently has the potential to "evolve", though he hasn't managed to do that yet.

[Because Pip enjoys being an Eevee, and being an Umbreon wouldn't be as fun. Plus, if he evolved he would have to be mature, and he's not quite ready for that yet.

"I'm not hurting anyone." Sorry Meinshao, Pip happens to be a spoiled rotten brat. Friendly, and affectionate, but still completely spoiled. Just like his daddy.]

Oh, that's because eevees are special! They don't evolve unless you have a type of certain to help them do that! If you use a fire stone, it will make him evolve into a flareon and so on!

[And then she stares down at him] Unless he wants to evolve that quickly...

["But those ducks could have gotten hurt with your rough housing!" Sorry Pip, she's just being a mama right now. Don't mind her giving the baby a lecture.]

Pip's enough of a handful without adding fire powers to the list.

What do you mean, "unless he wants to evolve that quickly"?

[The fur of Pip's ruff fluffs up in annoyance. "They're fine."]

I don't have any stones with me but it all depends on Pip! Does he want to evolve as quickly as he can or would he want to stay as an eevee for a while?

[Mienshao simply gives out a sigh before waving one of hands around. "That might be but just remember to be mindful of their safety! Who knows what might have happened!]

...Uh...I think Pip might be getting mad....

[Stein shrugs, looking at Pip.]

I haven't exactly asked him.

["I'm not an idiot. I wasn't going to hurt them." Pip is a huffy fluffball.

Stein just watches the two Pokemon interact.]

[blink blink]

Then why not go ask him now?

[With that, Mienshao just let out a sigh before patting his head. "Then what were you doing anyway?"]

Oh, I think he's busy right now.

["I was chasing them." Pip steps back, away from the patting. Who said you were allowed to touch him, Mienshao?]

[As Bianca stared down at the two of them, she couldn't help but let out a nervous giggle. They're fighting...

How does I do conflict management?]

Um...M-Mienshao, what's going on?

["Oh, he's being a ~~brat~~ little difficult to work with. However, it's something that I'm use to dealing with at times." She let out a sigh before walking back to Bianca]

But anyway, it seems like you're pretty interested in learning about eevee, so it means you're interested in learning about pokemon right?

[Pip just sits huffily, shaking his head fairly quickly to make sure his fur settles flat, taking up the posture of a serious, mature young pokemon.]

I am. We don't have pokemon in my world, and I'm always curious about new creatures.

[You go do that, Pip, you do do that. Meanwhile, Mienshao will just be standing right next to Bianca and minding her own business.]

Well...what do you want to know about Pokemon? I can tell you a lot but I think it might take a looonnnnnngggggggggg while if I do that!

[Huh, that is a good question. What can she say about Mienshao? As she looked back at her pokemon, she looked back at Stein]

Um...she's a fighting type? Let's see, I know that she's the last pokemon but she is pretty strong! Most of her moves involves her using martial arts so...there's that?

What are the different types of pokemon?

Hm...there's quite a few! Let's see...there's Rock, Flying, Ice, Fire, Grass, Bug, Psychic, Dark, Normal, Ghost...uh....

[Quick, POP QUIZ, Bianca! What else?!] Ooohhh, I know there's more than that! Oh, oh, oh! Ground, Steel, Electric, Water, Poison! Hm...I know there's one more! It's just on the tip of my tongue!

How much do you know about ghost types?

Uh...it depends? I'm still learning about the other types but I do know that most normal attacks don't work on Ghost types!

It needs to be special like fire, grass, water, ghost, psychic, and so on! It's the only type where it's weak against it's own type!

[One simply does not attack a Ghost type!]

So, fighting and normal are the only types that can't hurt ghost types?
