[There are some people who don't mind getting soaked to the skin. There are some people who do mind it. Stein is one of those people who acts a bit like a wet cat, removing his lab coat and shaking it out, carding his hands through his hair and trying to flick out the water, and making an annoyed expression at the general wetness involved in arriving in Vatheon.

This does mean that the tall, scarred man with the metal bolt stuck through his head is not exactly looking where he's going.]

We were about to get into a fight with Arachnophobia over the magic tool BREW. What's the last thing you remember?

Soul and I killed Arachne a long, long time ago. It was her soul that was used to make Soul into a Death Scythe. I'm a two star Meister now and we discovered that Asura is on the moon and we were going after him.

[A beat as a flash of pain crosses her face.]

...And my birthday was a few days ago, I'm 17 now. The only other person from our world that's here is Kid, Soul...was, or is but in a coma, but I don't think he's coming back.

[He wonders if he's still sane in Maka's timeline, if he's fallen completely apart and been put down like a rabid dog, or if he's still able to maintain enough semblance of sanity to stay in a teaching position.]
