Deck the halls?

[For the first week of the month, Cielo was asleep, deep in one of Vatheon's famous sleep comas. It was pretty disorienting to find out you've been unconscious for a week. Especially when you're used to sleeping just a few hours at a time. But he's since moved on from that.

It started when a local asked him for help hanging some Christmas lights on top of a building, a task easily accomplished when your demon has wings. And then another one wanted help. And then another. Suddenly, Cielo found himself as a one demon decorator. The locals started piling decorations on him and sent him on his way.

So right now there is a colorful winged demon loaded up with decorations flying around the bubble, decorating trees and buildings. He has various ornaments (many of them sea themed), garlands, strands of lights, and other decorations clutched with his feet and delicately in his jaws, being careful not to drop any of them as he flies around and sets them up according to instructions.

...one of the locals has even put a wreath around his neck. It looks rather silly.]

[Argilla, of course, had been glad to see Cielo awake again. She wanted him to take it easy for a while, of course, but it doesn't look like that's happening any time soon; and she knew he'd want to stretch his wings a little anyway, after sleeping for so long.

She hadn't been expecting him to be a decorations errand boy, though. It is kind of an amusing sight.

She shouts up at him when it looks like he's flying low enough to hear.]

What is that?

[She uses her hands to indicate the area around her neck.

The wreath . . .]

[Of all the things she thought to see today, Cielo bedecked in a wreath and hanging decorations was not one of them.

So have a perplexed Rinoa.]

Cielo? [She calls out loudly, as to get his attention.] What are you doing?

Burgh looked up at the spectacle with a gasp then a curious frown. What was he doing and what was he dressed like? Maybe it was something that happened occasionally in Vatheon?]

[Heeeeey, Argilla! Cielo takes a break from his sudden odd job out of nowhere to come down and talk to her. He has a basket of glass ornaments in one foot and he sets it down with the utmost care.]

It's called a wreath.

[And he tilts his head to one side.]

It smells nice.

[rainbowarch]

[It's okay Rinoa. He didn't expect this to happen either. He turns his head downward in her direction and calls out to answer.]

Ahhh, you see, a local asked me to help put up some lights, ja? Then all of a sudden everybody wants me to put up something for them.

[He doesn't mind it too much. They look very nice once they're set up!]

[Things like this do happen occasionally in Vatheon, since this falls into the category of "weird stuff you don't see every day." Cielo can't see Burgh, but he can detect his presence, and after he delicately hangs a garland over a doorway, he gives him a greeting.]

Oh. Yeah, the locals tend to do that.

[They can be so pushy.]

[Carting around stuff is no big deal.]

But if you want to help you can.

[Argilla is glancing over the glass ornaments when Cielo sets them down. They look pretty fragile, but it seems like he's taking good care not to break them.

After leaning towards him to take a whiff, she nods to agree.]

I suppose so. But it doesn't look like any necklace I've ever seen.

Hello there. I am curious to know what you are doing up there, sir? [He couldn't help notice the strange outfit the man was wearing.]

Sure! Decorating is always fun.

[She reaches out her arms for any decorations he wants to give her.]

[Comas aren't as worrying as disappearances, of course, but it's still nice to see Cielo up and around after all that sleeping. It seemed pretty unnatural for Cielo to be so still and quiet.

That's mostly why Gale slows down to watch Cielo working on the decorations, and nods to him despite how busy the other member of the Embryon seems to be.]

It's supposed to be a decoration for buildings. Someone just thought to put it over my head to carry it, ja?

[It certainly looks festive, but it's not very fun to wear. Very scratchy and annoying!]

[Alright? Does he look like he's in distress? The demon merely tilts his head to one side.]

I'm decorating.

[rainbowarch]

[Excellent! It's nice to be the one unloading things onto someone else for once. Cielo descends and lands in front of Rinoa, and it's clear that there's no shortage of things she can take. In one hand, he has a basket of velvety red bows and he decides to hold it out to her. He's had to be careful to not let any of those things fall!]

[Ohh. Yes, in hindsight that actually makes a lot more sense. It does look really scratchy prickly and annoying, though -- she agrees.]

Ah. So you're taking it somewhere . . . [Argilla looks around. There certainly are a lot of buildings around.] Which building should you put it on?

Decorating? For what, may I ask? [Burgh still didn't understand.]

[Busy as he may be, Cielo still has time to stop and chat. Especially with his best bro. He quickly ties a bow to a lamp post before greeting his comrade.]

Hey Gale!

[Oh, bows! Rinoa takes those happily, slinging the basket over her arm before looking around.]

So, where should these go, exactly? Or did they say to put them wherever?

[He points out a particularly tall one with his head.]

That one. It's going to go over the doorway.

[teradine]

[The doorway, huh . . . Argilla's gaze follows his and then she gives a nod.]

I'll come with you.

[Maybe she can help. : |b]

[Well...he doesn't really understand either.]

A holiday.

...I don't really know much about it.

They want me to tie them on the lamp posts on this street.

[He leans over so she can climb on.]

[Aww yis Argilla, we can be an unstoppable team!]

Climb aboard then!

[He leans over so she can do just that]

[This would be weird if she hadn't already done it before. Climb on his back, anyway. So with little hesitance she hops up, holding onto his shoulder with one arm while the other clutched the ribbons.]
