[For the first week of the month, Cielo was asleep, deep in one of Vatheon's famous sleep comas. It was pretty disorienting to find out you've been unconscious for a week. Especially when you're used to sleeping just a few hours at a time. But he's since moved on from that.

It started when a local asked him for help hanging some Christmas lights on top of a building, a task easily accomplished when your demon has wings. And then another one wanted help. And then another. Suddenly, Cielo found himself as a one demon decorator. The locals started piling decorations on him and sent him on his way.

So right now there is a colorful winged demon loaded up with decorations flying around the bubble, decorating trees and buildings. He has various ornaments (many of them sea themed), garlands, strands of lights, and other decorations clutched with his feet and delicately in his jaws, being careful not to drop any of them as he flies around and sets them up according to instructions.

[Busy as he may be, Cielo still has time to stop and chat. Especially with his best bro. He quickly ties a bow to a lamp post before greeting his comrade.]

[Gale hasn't really gotten much explanation for Christmas yet. And decorating hasn't been a part of that.]

[Then why is he decorating the city for it? Well, he's not entirely sure either.]

Regardless of what it is called, we should watch out for any suspicious behavior on the part of the locals. How did they convince you to help?

Well, one asked for help, then another then another and they sort of just shoved all these things at me, ja?

[He won't judge too hard.]

It seems rather like them. Would you like assistance?

[Surely they won't swarm him if he's just helping Cielo, right?]

[Here, he's going to unload basket of oversized glittery snowflakes on you.]

You hang these off things.

[He'll be taking those, then, and working his way along to hang them up. He doesn't really get it, but it's easy enough to follow the pattern modeled by decorations that have already been placed.]

Ja, just like that.

[He turns his head towards a sloppy pile of decorations the locals have left.]

We can pretty much come up with any design we want.

[Neither of them really have much design sense, but the locals aren't any better.]

[One could probably argue that the locals are worse. Two words; dead body.]

It might be best to follow a pattern.

[A pattern sounds good to him, so Cielo grabs a couple snowflakes continues the pattern and once he's done, he reverts to admire the finished product.]

[Even though there's a pile of decorations still leftover, Cielo's finished everything the locals have asked him to do. It's probably a good idea for him to escape before they realize he's done.]

With more people helping, tasks are more quickly accomplished. It is no doubt why they recruited you in the first place.

I offered my assistance for a specific task. That is not precisely recruiting.

Nevertheless, that was not being recruited. Perhaps it was more of an alliance.

[Wow why are they even arguing about this? Despite his natural instinct to compete with Gale on stupid ridiculous things, even Cielo thinks this is ridiculous.]

It did. I wonder if, like other holidays, this one has traditions attached to it beside decorating.
