Birthday Party!

When: Tuesday, starts out in the evening and lasts until late at night.
Where: The Island, at the beach.
Style: Whichever!
Status: OPEN

[Tidus had planned on throwing Roxas' party on his actual birthday. Then, stuff happened. Then other stuff. Now, finally, Roxas' very late "surprise" birthday party is being thrown. Telling Roxas that he just wants to hang out on the Island, everyone else is informed of the party before they get there.

As characters approach, there's a banner hanging that says: HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY ROXAS. Glowsticks decorate the area where the party is taking place. There's enough for anyone to take some and use them if they want! Some catchy, danceable music plays in the background, and to the side is the table with (alcohol free for the time being) refreshments and snacks, Roxas' sea-salt ice cream cake still in a cooler until later. On the opposite side, is a table for birthday presents, which will can be opened anytime Roxas wants. Since the weather is decent, a projector has been set up on the beach to play an action adventure, fishpun-free movie later.

Games will go on during the party too, including sardines (which will take place more inland), pictionary and anything else anyone might think of. In case anyone wanted to play sports, there are also a few balls lying around, along with the closest thing Tidus could find to struggling bats.

[Say which part? Also swatting at your hand, what are you doing pinching his cheek.]

[Do nooot ahhh grabbing at your hands.]

S-sometimes, yeah.

[His hands are successfully grabbed!]

Well, at least I can give you points for being honest with me.

[Welp we're holding hands again. That's what you get for pinching cheeks.]

What, you don't think I'm dumb sometimes?

[This is practically normal by now, so don't even worry about it.]

Of course you're dumb sometimes. I just choose not to tell you. Is that bad?

Shouldn't you tell me when I'm doing something stupid?

Sure. ... I just wouldn't call it "stupid," because that might upset you or something, y'know?

[What the hell are we even going on about. Axel shakes his head.]

Anyway. Come on, stupid. What d'you feel like doing?

[You're the one who started making a big deal out of it. Gosh, so sensitive.

Instead of being "upset" or something, Roxas smiles a little at being called stupid, but then he has to think for a second. ...and the music playing nearby, and the fact they're holding hands, seems to give him an idea.]

D'you know how to dance?

[flared]

[Believe it or not, I have feelings, Roxas.]

What?

[Axel laughs a little at that.]

Seriously?

[Psh, he believes that more than you do, Axel.]

Why not?

[He swings their hands a bit.]

Might as well try everything, right?

[Swinging hands. Ok. He can deal with this.

Maybe.

Ok, sure, he'll raise one of your arms and try to spin you around there, dude.]

It's not that hard to do.

[What is Axel-- Oh. Yes, the spinning, he saw that at the masquerade. He can do that.]

So you do know?

Nothing fancy. But you learn a thing or two from fighting.

[Axel likes to think of himself as graceful with respect to combat at least. Dancing may not be exactly the same, but, hey, it has it's similarities.]

They've both got their share of fancy foot work.

I guess that's right.

Except if you're fighting you might try to step on someone's foot.

[He laughs at that.]

I guess that's true. Not very nice, but true.

Do you know how to dance?

Not really.
