Who: Rinoa and you!
What: Visits while she's recovering in the medical clinic
Where: Clinic
When: The 7th and 8th of this month
Style: I'll match you!
Status: Open to all!
[Although the monitors and wires and needles still scared Rinoa, the care she has been receiving counter-balanced the uneasiness the place made her feel. And really, the doctors and nurses had been doing a good job of taking care of her, to the point where she was likely ready to go home in another day or two.
All in all, she was lucky. She wasn't as drugged as the other victims (although it was going to make for some bad nightmares for awhile). The needlemarks on her arms were covered with band-aids, and the tears in her back were stitched and bandaged. The only other visible injury was her eye. The swelling had gone down, leaving a nice black and blue bruise in its wake. That would heal on its own.
But until she was clear to leave, she was stuck in there, with only her SFC and a small television to keep her occupied. Now that the drugs had been flushed out of her system, she was coherent. And she could really use some company.]

My friend, Selphie. It'll be nice to have a snuggle buddy at night.
Oh, uh, it's a chocobo. [She assumes most people don't know what they are, although there are some here.]
no subject
Well, of course it is.
[Tifa hasn't yet had one of those what's-a-chocobo conversations, so she assumes most everyone knows. She reaches over to give the plushy a little pat on the head.]

Oh, sorry. I didn't realize you'd seen one here already. They come from my world, but somehow they made their way here, too.

...I take it that's not the norm here.
no subject
A shame, too. They're such cuties.

I don't really know why.
[It may have something to do with their resemblance to a certain spikey-headed friend of hers. Possibly. But she'd rather keep that to herself.]
no subject
[That's reason enough for her.]
So, how have things been on the outside? Aside from the SFC, I have no idea what's happening.

[Since the murderer turned himself in and people stopped spreading rumors.]
It's really raining up above. I guess it makes people reflective.

[She looks up at the ceiling, as if she can see the island. The rain does have a tendency to make people introspect.] Rain, huh. Guess it's a good time then to be stuck in here.

[Tifa glances up for a moment, too.]
I don't really mind it myself. Midgar--where I used to live, was one city right on top of another one. Living down below, you never got any rain or snow. I missed it.

[She tries to picture it. It was an odd image, to be sure.]
That sounds awful, never seeing the weather. I think I'd go a little crazy after awhile.
no subject
I'm glad it's so easy to get up top here. I think I'd've gone a little crazy myself by now if I couldn't.
no subject
How long have you lived there?
no subject
I lived there for about five years. I don't know if I'll go back.
no subject
I wouldn't, if I had the choice.
no subject
It still is for a lot of people, and they deserve better.

[Shinra isn't technically the government, but they have what's left of Midgar's actual government under their thumb.]
We've been trying. There's a lot else going on right now, though.

But she smiles, because Rinoa doesn't need all that right now.]
We'll figure something out.

[That battle seemed so far away now. And in some ways, so much easier than what she had just gone through.]
