A Promise Kept
Who: Selphie & Tieria
Where: Tieria's apartment
When: Early evening.
Style: Prose? I'm flexible.
Status: In progress, closed.
Tieria was almost ready. After resolving the little issue with the magic spells and whatnot, Tieria remembered that he had told Selphie, or rather, she had talked him into cooking for her. So, here he was, working on a simple dinner of penne a la vodka. He hadn't even considered dessert, so here was hoping she either brought some or wasn't expecting any. At least he remembered to have drinks?

"Not so much that he did anything," he said. Really. Stein had just sort of leered about it. He hadn't actually bothered Tieria about it, and, in that, he was sort of relieved. "I just hope he does not go spreading it around."

"Would you tell me who it was...?"

"He seemed to enjoy experimenting on... squittens?" Was that what they were called? Tieria hadn't seen them outside of Vatheon. "Grey hair, glasses... a large screw through his head." That sounded so strange coming from his own mouth. Either way, Tieria had never gotten Stein's name.

"Oh... well, that is good to know." Harmless? Tieria wasn't entirely sure about that, but if he's only going to experiment on animals, then Tieria's unadmitted fears of being kidnapped in the middle of the night and finding himself on a lab bench were hopefully unfounded.

"I am used to being in a small amount of space," he said. "Organization was important."

"Thank you," he said, not sure what else to say, really. Instead, he just set about serving dinner. He was awkward when it came to compliments and praise.

"Thank you."
The taste would be subtle, but there, and very normal, like he had definitely followed the recipe to the letter.

"Mmm! Tieria! This is so good!~"

"Do you and your friends cook for each other often?"
no subject
"I'm a terrble cook! And back home, we just never had the chance. I'd like to try, though, to make a real meal for someone sometime..."
