Tieria was almost ready. After resolving the little issue with the magic spells and whatnot, Tieria remembered that he had told Selphie, or rather, she had talked him into cooking for her. So, here he was, working on a simple dinner of penne a la vodka. He hadn't even considered dessert, so here was hoping she either brought some or wasn't expecting any. At least he remembered to have drinks?

Despite the odd little intrusion of the curse, Selphie was so glad that Tieria had remembered that he had promised to cook for her. She enjoyed her food, and in a place where she could eat out as much as she liked, she always loved having a friend cook for her.

She arrived, perhaps a little bit late, but at least she had a basket with her, seemingly hiding some sort of dessert in there. Selphie hadn't exactly dressed up for the occasion, but she'd put a little effort in wearing something nice - a pretty pink cocktail dress, of course.

KNOCK KNOCK, "Tieria! I'm he-ere!"

"Selphie! Selphie!"

"Yes, Haro." Tieria moved past the bouncing robot into the other room to answer the door. Haro followed, the metallic boing-boing making him hard to miss, and was there bouncing behind Tieria as he opened the door.

"Hello." He stepped to the side to let Selphie inside.

"Hi-i Tieria!" Selphie beamed at her friend and nodded to him as she entered through the door. "Mmm - it smells so good in here!" She paused for a moment to inhale the smells of whatever was cooking.

"Hi Haro - how are you?"

"Thank you. I did clean," he said, not really catching on entirely that she was talking about the food.

"Haro happy! Haro happy!" The robot bounced for Selphie, making its way to her for hugs!

Yeah, so Selphie just gives Tieria a weird look, because it takes a while to figure how what he said matched with what she said, and she just smiled.

"Yay! I'm happy too, Haro!" She wasted no more time in giving a big friendly cuddle.

"Dinner will be ready shortly," he said. "Do you want something to drink?" Or maybe did that dessert she brought need to be refridgerated? Haro flapped happily and carefully as not to whack Selphie with the ear flaps. "What did you bring?"

"Great! I'm pretty hungry!"

Selphie winked at Haro as she kicked off her boots and wandered into Tieria's home, "Ooh! Something to drink would be awesome! I brought a bunch of different cake to try. I didn't make it cause I suck at stuff like that but it's go-ood."

He nodded. "Thank you for bringing those." Even if she didn't make them, it was still okay. He headed into the kitchen. "Do they need to be in the refridgerator?" He opened it up. He didn't have much in the way of drinks. "What would you like?" There was juice, iced tea, water, milk... No alcohol.

"No problem! I didn't know what you liked so I thought I'd just bring a bunch!" Selphie was busy looking around his place, but she joined him in the kitchen and passed over the cakes, "Yeah - fridge would be a good idea."

"I'll just have some... juice, please!"

He nodded in thanks of her thoughtfulness, and took the cakes so he could put them carefully inside. He then took out the juice, getting two classes for them after closing the fridge.

"That curse seems to be done," he said, referring to people blurting things out suddenly without control. He poured two glasses of juice.

Selphie watched him pour the drinks and she couldn't help but give a sigh of relief at the mention of the curse. It had made things interesting for herself... and for a lot of people.

"Yeah. And that's good. I think I lot of people got really upset with it."

He nodded a little, capping the juice and putting it back into the fridge before handing her one of the glasses.

"It was very uncomfortable," he said. "I revealed things I should not have."

Selphie took the glass with a grateful little nod and sipped thoughtfully.

"Do you mean stuff you shouldn't have... or stuff you'd rather you didn't?"

He considered that for a moment.

"Both." He took a sip as well, sitting down at the table. "None of what I said was truly false, but there were things that I would have rather kept to myself, or, should have kept to myself. For various reasons."

Selphie sat herself down too, looking thoughtfully at Tieria - she couldn't really imagine what he'd have to say that could affect him like that.

"You didn't say anything like that to me." Well, apart from being rude about magic, but Selphie wasn't sure if he would have just said that anyway, curse or no curse.

"I revealed something about myself to someone I've never spoken with but twice," he said. "It was something that, for a long time, I had never revealed to even those closest me." Though, getting close was something that happened very rarely for Tieria. He wasn't very good at it. "I am uncertain how to feel about that person's reaction."

"Huh..." Selphie paused in her sipping to look at Tieria steadily. "How did they react?" She did hope that he hadn't revealed things to someone who wasn't trustworthy.

"He seemed very interested," Tieria said. Maybe a little too interested, and Tieria was a bit disturbed by it.

Selphie took another slow sip before smiling a little at Tieria, "Well, if you don't know this person so well, how do you know that they weren't interested cause they have the same secret?"

"It is a possibility, but he didn't seem to want to share in return." He frowned. "Is it possible that not everyone is affected by each curse?"

Selphie finished her drink and put the glass down, "Definitely. I wasn't affected at all, that time." If she had been, she might have said a bit more on how she felt about Tieria's views on magic.

"So perhaps he just wasn't willing to say anything," Tieria wondered. He wasn't sure. The look he'd been given, though, had been so disturbing.

Selphie could see how much it was troubling her friend, and she tilted her head while she ran a finger round her glass, "Hmm... If it's bothering you, why don't you try getting in touch?"

"I am not sure I want to speak with him again," he said. It was a strange admission, but he had been unsettled by the man's expression. His instincts wanted to avoid him as much as possible.

Selphie frowned a little at that, giving her a more serious expression, "Do you wanna tell me what happened? Did that person bother you?"
