[GV] - 3 - Summer's End

It took quite a bit of cleanup after the masquerade but Golden Victory is back in full swing. With the weather turning colder, Zelos has decided to throw one last summer themed hurrah and so the entire club is done up in a beach theme. All the chairs having been replaced with pool loungers, the ceiling is decked out with palm fronds, and even the floor is coated with a fine layer of sand. The interior thermostat's been ramped up to a balmy 80 degrees F so come on in and play!

As always, the list of host club members remains posted right at the entrance, as well as the rules.

[Zelda had to leave the Host Club entirely and sneak back in as Sheik to manage to catch Zelos, but she does manage it. Try to not think of Sheena too much when a vengeful looking ninja appears in front of you in a puff of smoke, Zelos.]

[Pff. Wow, he didn't even need to say anything and Zelda calmed down. He might need to wear the speedo more often.]

[Angelo today again dresses for the occasion (when he takes off those brown shorts, there might be a nice pair of red swim shorts underneath) and kicks back to relax in one of the lounge chairs. While he wants to lounge for a bit longer, he also hopes to expect some customers today.]

[ Duke looks absolutely thrilled to be sitting here. Unsurprisingly, he doesn't seem to be in a swimsuit, even if there's an awful lot of leg showing. There's a pair of red shorts hidden under there. Who wants to bet that he shouldn't be wearing the hoodie? ]

[After the masquerade, Zelda had decided to see just what this host club was actually all about. From the sound of it, it wasn't as bad as she thought originally. Of course the first person she spots upon walking in is Duke, in a hooded sweatshirt and shorts so short she can't even tell that he's wearing them on first glance.]

[WHAT THE HELL SORT OF PLACE IS ZELOS RUNNING, HERE?!]

[Just... smile politely... will Duke really do anything he's asked? She's going to kill Zelos.]

[Roxas might've thought he'd be more at ease with a theme that didn't require him to wear a bunch of fancy clothes he wasn't used to. And, okay, by himself he'd be comfortable enough in his swimtrunks.

But in a room full of attractive guys trying to charm people all day? Not so much. Where he's sitting he's got his back to most of the club members, and he's pretty close to putting his T-shirt back on, though he's not sure that'll help any.]

Alright, so it took a little bit of gentle bickering with his redheaded boss for Guy to be even remotely okay with the costumes for the theme. But now, he actually looks remarkably comfortable in what he's been given - he's even keeping his hair down and tousled for his shifts. Zelos claims it gives him a sea-swept look, but Guy doesn't seem to really care either way. He can be found behind the bar, and might be open for an appointment or two if he's feeling up to the challenge.

Oh. And the "DO NOT MOLEST THE BARTENDER" sign is back. It might be best not to ask.]

[Something about a pasty white vampire in swimming shorts didn't seem particularly becoming to Fai. But he sports some fancy kitty print shorts and is wearing a matching Hawaiian shirt that matches.

He has already checked to make sure there is enough food cooked for the clients so he's making his rounds and making sure everyone is content.]

[Serph isn't a big fan of going armourless, and even less of a fan of going practically clothesless. But he wears the swimtrunks without complaint. It makes him a little uneasy, though. This seems really... familiar, and he can't quite place why. He probably won't get to find out if he's taken from Vatheon again, though...

Nevertheless, he pushes it out of his mind when he has to talk with people, speaking like there is absolutely nothing wrong with walking around in not much clothing at all. Try not to stare at his assets for too long, though.]

[Well, she doesn't really know to make an appointment or anything. When she sees the list of members and the rules, she skims and just kind of... wanders in. She'd been looking forward to seeing Serph since his return, anyway, and plus she figures maybe she can finally meet Zelos here.

...Of course, Serph's lack of armor certainly catches her attention first. And yes, she will stare for a moment before calling out to him.]

[Serph turns at the sound of his name. Ah, it's Yukari. He nods in greeting.]

[That's okay. She's got other things on her mind anyway, at least for the moment--so she closes the distance a bit more, smiling. Because he'd been gone for quite some time.]

Thank you. Vatheon doesn't seem to have changed much since my departure.

[It's a bit of a comfort, after the turmoil of the real world. Though it doesn't change the fact there was a death on the day of his return...]

[So there's a curious girl poking her head into the club. Judging by the look of confusion on her face, she has no idea what's going on, and that's why she's here.

Her conversation with Darkleer at the ball finally spurred her to investigate the club and find out what it's about.

Bravely she sets forward, looking around as she passes into the lobby.]

...why are there men in bathing suits? What the heck is this place? Rinoa pauses, her eyes wide in further confusion.]

[HI RINOA. How do you like seeing a family member wearing a lot less than usual?

Since he's free, Serph's approaching Rinoa, not outwardly perturbed that he's dressed this way.]

[...Serph where are your clothes? She was almost convinced their armor didn't come off or something.]

Serph? Why are you in a swimsuit?

[Well, the armour doesn't come off very often; it takes forever to come off, so if it can be avoided...]
