Colette's in the park playing with her dog, Caramel. She laughs as she runs with him, pretending that everything's fine for the moment. She's still worried about Kohaku and Shing - and Rin - but well...it's easier to pretend she's fine than to go around looking how she feels. That would mean some of her friends might get worried about her after all! It wasn't her turn to look after Kohaku, so she just decided to play with Caramel now instead of later.

She falls flat on her face, one of her feet having caught on a rock. Clumsy people running isn't exactly the best idea. "Ow..."

Caramel whines, running back toward her before nosing at and licking her face until she sits up.

Hey now Angel-hunny~ You alright?

[Zelos offers a hand down to Colette to help her to her feet. With all his deflecting and trying to keep himself busy he hasn't had much of a chance to see his fellow Chosen lately so while he was a little worried to see her falling on her face yet again, he's quite happy to see her generally.]

[She smiles up at him and takes his hand, dusting off her dress after she gets up.]

Yep! [She hadn't really been busy with things she couldn't just put off, but still, she hadn't gone to see him recently. And it was nice to see him, especially with all that's been going on with her friends. Caramel had started wagging his tail harder when he saw Zelos. He recognized him! This was the guy who had been with Colette when she'd taken him home that first time! When he'd been small enough to fit in Colette's arms instead of his head being around as high as her knees when he's standing.

Caramel barks happily and circles them.]

Glad to hear it.

[What's this?]

Geeze, he's almost as big as you are!

[The redhead crouches down and scratches behind Caramel's ears. Well hi there pup! He remembers you too~]

[She pouts. She's not that small! Sure if he stretches out he's over half as tall as she is but... But then she laughs, watching Caramel and Zelos.]

I don't think he's that big yet! He's still going to be growing for a while longer. [And then he might be as big as she is when he stretches...

Caramel sticks his tongue out and pants happily, leaning into the ear scratches.]

Hmm, well, he's still grown a lot. You having any trouble controlling him? It's lucky you've got the crystal or he'd be walking you instead of the other way around!

[With one final good scratch, Zelos stands up fully again, shoving hands in his pockets leisurely.]

So how are you besides our little canine friend here?

Way to procrastinate, Kratos.

[Though there's no reason for it, Kratos finds himself feeling a bit nervous when he sees Colette. It's probably because he's feeling nervous in general - he'd been on his way to deliver Amaterasu's finished portrait of Anna and Lloyd to Lloyd. It's safely tucked away for now. He should say hello, shouldn't he? It's been quite some time. Yes, that sounds like a good idea.

Chances are he won't be making it to Lloyd's apartment today. Maybe tomorrow.]

Are you alright, Colette?

Kratos....

[She blinks when he hears his voice, getting up and turning around to face him, brushing off her dress with a hand.]

I'm fine. [Caramel half-hides behind Colette, staring at him. He doesn't know this person, Colette, who is he? He barks and she looks at him.]

Oh! Right. Caramel, this is Kratos. Kratos, this is my dog, Caramel. [She won't mention that Zelos got him for her. That doesn't sound like it'd be a good idea. Caramel doesn't run toward him, but he does step out from behind Colette.]

[As Amaterasu would be able to tell it (and Noishe for that matter, though he is not exactly a dog), Kratos quite likes dogs. He offers something of a smile down to Caramel as he holds out his hand to allow it to be sniffed.]

You have a dog of your own here, then. That's good, you did always like dogs.

[Her insistence on naming each and every dog they came across was quite amusing, really.]

[Caramel is a bit cautious as he goes to sniff Kratos' hand, but then he barks and sits right in front of him. Pets?

She smiles, watching.]

Yep! [She would still name them here if the dogs she came across didn't have names.]

[Suddenly, between this one and the other he tripped over, he's seeing a lot of dogs.

Then a girl falls on her face before him, inches from the tip of his boots and blocking his initial route. Walter is unresponsive, and very close to stepping around to ignore this silliness; but first, he has to take some time to stare.

Yellow, white, and blue. What about her eyes? He can't see them at this angle -- simply for curiosity's sake, given that he already has his reservations.]

[She hadn't noticed him until she sits up and pets the dog, but she briefly wonders why he hadn't just walked around her. Most people don't just stop and stare when they see someone trip after all; they walk around, laugh, or offer to help the person up. She looks up at him, smiling.]

I'm sorry. I'm in your way, aren't I? [Yellow, white, blue, and more blue. She stands, the dog sitting beside her, and steps to the side. She won't keep him here if he wants to leave.]

[Blue, and not the slightest hint of recognition. Not one of his.

As typical of him, Walter doesn't return the smile. For her seeming clumsiness -- tripping on rocks is not that easy, and/or her sense of balance is poor -- she's quick to catch on.

Another fleeting moment to look at her, than Walter brushes past without a word.

(Not so) Nice to meet you. Goodbye.]

[She blinks as he walks by. Tripping on air isn't easy either! Um...

That was weird. Really kinda weird. Stare at her for a while, and then leave without saying anything...Maybe he was looking for someone, and she looked sort of like them?

It was as good a guess as any, so she calls after him.] I hope you find who you're looking for!

[Well, Yukari's pretty excited to see Colette again. She's worried about Kohaku and Shing as well, and she recognizes that head of blonde hair, so as she passes by the park, she waves a hand, dashing over while trying not to look too eager.]

Cole--

[Oh.

...That looked painful. Looks like Caramel's got it though. She chuckles, watching the scene as she hovers over her.]

Be careful!

[clumsyblonde]

[Colette stands up and smiles at Yukari, petting Caramel.]

Hey Yukari! And I don't think being careful would've helped any. It hasn't before...

[What was there to trip on when flying after all? She'd managed to fall then too. Caramel looks at Yukari, then bumps his head against Colette's leg. We came out here to plaaaaaay...]

[One of those people, huh...

Haha. She supposes Colette's never really seemed clumsy before, but she can definitely see it now. Yukari continues to watch as Caramel nudges at Colette's leg.]

Well, as long as you're okay.

[And it seems the pup really wants her to get up, so Yukari offers Colette her hand.]

[Colette takes it with a smile, using it to get to her feet.]

I'm fine! You haven't met Caramel before, have you? [The first time they met was before she got him, then they talked on the network, and then there was the maid cafe...She doesn't think they've met.

Hearing his name, the dog barks and looks up at Yukari, tilting his head. A friend of Colette's. Will she pet him?]

Is Caramel still a puppy ?

[And look ! There's an Asato and a Cinnamon appearing for a little walk in the park. The puppy curiously looks at running Caramel for an instant before rushing towards him, barking happily.]

Cinnamon, be careful !

He's ~8 months old /not familiar when puppies become dogs

[Caramel pauses, then barks back, running toward the puppy, circling it after they meet. Who is this? Another dog?]

Caramel? Oh! [Colette gets up and follows her dog, then crouches next to him, looking at the puppy and extending a hand to it.]

You're called Cinnamon? [She heard Asato speak, but she doesn't know who he is.]

Ok ! Cinnamon is 4 months. <3

[Cinnamon looks curiously at Caramel, sniffing him a bit. Yep, definitively smells like a dog. He then turns towards the girl and licks her hand to say hi. She has a puppy, she must not be a bad person.] Woof !

[Asato finally joins them and smiles at the little group.]

[She giggles and pets Cinnamon, Caramel wagging his tail next to her. She grins at Asato.]

Hello! Is Cinnamon your puppy? Caramel's mine. [Hearing his name, Caramel stops sitting next to Colette and pads over to Asato. Who are you?]

[He understands clumsy.

So when he's passing by and just so happens to see her trip and fall--well. It makes him a little worried, so he's making his way towards Colette.]

Heh, it's your turn to be clumsy, huh? You okay?

[Oh, hi Yosuke. She smiles up at him.]

I guess so! And I'm fine. [Who is this person, Colette? Caramel barks and tilts his head. How many of her friends has he not met yet...She blinks down at her dog, then laughs.]

Yosuke, this is my dog, Caramel. Caramel, Yosuke's a friend of mine! [Friends? That means he might get pets, doesn't it? He starts wagging his tail as he looks at him. Pets are always good.]

I'm glad to hear that.

[Aw, dog...it's kind of cute.]

Hey, Caramel. It's nice to meet you. [He holds out his hand for Caramel to sniff, and if it was okay with him he'll begin to stroke him.]

[She smiles as Caramel sniffs Yosuke's hand and then just sits in front of him, wagging his tail. Pets are good!]

I'm sure he thinks it's nice to meet you too! [He didn't bark to say it like he does most of the time, but he did let Yosuke pet him, so he must like him. Logic.]
