See that girl, just talking to herself yep.
Who: Ryoko Asakura and you lovely folks of Vatheon!
Where: In front of the coral.
When: August 7th, early morning.
Style: Starting with [Action], will follow your lead.
Warnings: None at the moment.
Status: Open.
[Although it's early in the morning? A teenaged girl can be found sitting near the coral. In fact she's been there the whole night, seemingly staring at it.]
You can heal people, yes?
[And she's talking to the coral. Now this would be odd, except during her time in Vatheon Asakura has learned a few things.
One, she can no longer create data jurisdictions. Two, thus that means she cannot just make stuff into other stuff, like a knife from some scrap metal. And three, that the coral is pretty dang important.
Not that she was going to do anything to it, that would be silly.]
I wonder just how much you can fix...
[So while the coral isn't really giving her any answers, she's still talking to herself and not quite caring if anyone hears her. Cause hey, it's way too early for most normal folks to be out. Right?Prove her wrong.]

He stands next to her for a little while, tilting his head slightly as he listens to her talk to the coral.]
Is it sentient?
no subject
Ah... no, it's not. Or at least it hasn't replied to me at all, Mister.
[As she talks she'll look up at him and smile.]
no subject
Don't think the coral's gonna talk back anytime soon. Something wrong?
no subject
No... no nothing is wrong. I'm just, gathering my thoughts?
no subject
Another one? Really? Seems like ever couple months or so there was someone who wanted to communicate with the blasted thing.]
Aye it heal things, but it won’t be answering that for ya. [Settling the bags on a bench close by before crossing over to the girl.] How long have you been here? Don’t catch a cold sticking around out here. Not injured or anything? [Making sure because why else would someone want to know about the healing capabilities of the coral.]
no subject
She doesn't answer until Faris is done asking his questions of her, and really she hasn't slept since she arrived in Vatheon.]
A week, I think? [Without school she didn't see much reason in keeping too much track of the time that's passed. Of course she means here in Vatheon, not here as in sitting in front of the coral.] And no sir, I'm fine. No injuries, just... Curious, I guess?
no subject
[ Stare away. He's used to it. ]
What's your name?
no subject
Ah, I'm Asakura Ryoko it's a... pleasure to meet you, Mister? [Awkward because she can't tell if the small black thing on a giant blue chicken is male or female.]
no subject
Mokona is Mokona! Pleased ta meetcha! And this is Cactus. This your first time in Vatheon?
no subject
I guess so? I've never been here before I mean at least I know for sure this place doesn't exist back home.
/sneaks in late
Stepping around the coral to find the source, he approaches the girl.]
Has the coral responded to your question?
[Because some people have been attempting to talk to it... but he wouldn't know if it's actually answered any of them.]
never late good sir, never.
Um, no. Not yet, although I doubt it ever will.
no subject
[He looks back at her, returning her smile somewhat confusedly.]
Maybe it's just shy.
[He then returns his gaze to the coral, peering at it for a moment before taking a step forward, leaning in and whispering.]
Hello?
no subject
She doesn't hear it.
But she will giggle a bit at the grown man deciding to talk to coral.]
no subject
After a moment, he emits a small, dismayed sigh and turns back to face the girl.]
I'm sorry. It's not responding.
no subject
Ah, well I wasn't really expecting it to reply, Mister. But thank you for trying.
excellent!
It may be able to hear us. A man had returned to his world shortly after he requested to.
no subject
[She'll lean closer to the coral now.]
Do you think it could... connect someone to something back in their world then, Mister?
[Even if it could end badly? If she could get reconnected to the Data Entity in her world well... It'd be a bad thing for certain folks.]
no subject
It seems better at bringing items to and from worlds.
[He tilts his head.]
Is there something you'd like from your world?
no subject
Not something, more like... Someone?
[because missing people you know is totally normal, yep.]
Any particular items I'd want from home I can find here, really.
no subject
Why are you talking to that thing?
no subject
Why not talk to it? It doesn't hurt anything, and it is helping me collect my thoughts.
no subject
Because it's a useless endeavor, considering it can't hear or talk back.
no subject
[MAKE ME.]
no subject
[ The shake is returned just as eagerly. ]
Mokona's been here before and Mokona made friends. That makes it better. Wanna be friends?
no subject
[He'll be the oddest looking friend she's made in her life.]
no subject
Your friends may come in time.
[So many of his have, after all. He turns his attention to the stranger.]
The coral brings people near the month's end.
no subject
Oh I doubt it can bring this person, but it can't hurt to keep an eye out.
[And now she's smiling as usual.]
Also I don't think I caught your name, Mister.
no subject
Serph.
[He tilts his head, a silent request for hers.]
no subject
[ Vatheon: strangest ass place EVER. ]
no subject
[Again, has to stop herself and remember that maybe not everyone would get it right if she introduced herself last name first.]
I'm Ryoko Asakura, it's a pleasure to meet you Mister Serph.
no subject
Okay then, Mokona. It's very nice to meet you and to be your friend then.
no subject
Time for a subject change.]
Why are you curious about how much it can heal, anyway?
no subject
[Seriously, that's it, no other reason.]
Well that and coral normally doesn't heal people, Mister.
no subject
Ryoko's name is familiar, though. Ah. Right, the girl he's been meaning to talk to. This is convenient. The topic change may seem a little abrupt.]
What are Host Clubs in your world?
no subject
A place where adult men go to have women keep them company for a fee and drinks. Why do you ask?
no subject
I've yet to see it do anything like that.
[Richter refuses to believe it can do that until he sees it for himself.]
no subject
Then you probably haven't needed to use it, yet.
no subject
[Don't jinx yourself, Richter.]
no subject
[That's all Asakura has to say on that subject, as she's back to watching the coral and ignoring Richter.]
