[ Hello dear Vatheon, how are you? Good? Good, because you've got two rather oddly dressed guys in your plaza. They don't seem to be bothered at all by the fact they're dripping wet, though the one with the dreadlocks is carrying a submachine gun. Every now and again, they converse with each other, but they don't seem aggressive.

Approach? ... Well, even if you don't, they will be approaching you. ]

[Obviously, it wasn't exactly the same, but this girl seems to understand. Understand war, understand so many sides vying for power and dominance, and understand what it was like to be trapped in it.

It was kind of weird, too. Cielo felt like he could relate to this stranger even though they've only just met.

But all that was pushed aside when he hears yet another thing that confuses him.]

What do you mean by alternate?

[Her world...had an alternate? An alternate world? At least, that's what he thought she was saying.]

[ Yes, it's very sad that the worlds of others have also been full of strife. But Serph is certain that there are other worlds where that is not the case. And the strangers words seem to suggest that of the others she knows in Vatheon -- she seems amiable enough to get along with others -- there aren't many who have lived through war.

Serph has the same question on the forefront of his mind, and his thought processes were similar, too. If it's an alternate world, wouldn't things be different?

He just tilts his head, since Cielo has already spoken. ]

Mm. There's the world I'm from and then another version of it. It's still hard to believe, but with enough proof of such being present in the form of people I know but are quite different in one way or another, it's not like I can really deny such.

[A small pause from her after that.]

Though I can't say for certain if those from the other version went through the very same battles as the ones I know or heard of. But if the people are the same, despite the differences, then most of what I know of should be similar.

[It's a little difficult for Cielo to be able to wrap his head around the idea that there could be another world where there's people you know, but they're different.

And then he has to idly wonder if maybe there's another Cielo somewhere in some alternate world of their own. If only he knew.]

This different world business is weird.

[ Hmmm... He's closing his eyes to think over this. Varin had mentioned that he had devoured Argilla, but he hasn't. He had also mentioned that they had all been people from Nirvana but... Varin had made it sound like Nirvana wasn't peaceful at all. This conversation's given him another possible explanation, though. ]

Is it possible to know what has happened in the alternate world while still being in your own?
