Who: Ghirahim, some helpless NPCs, and YOU
When: right after Ghirahim arrives
Where: The Plaza
Status: open LIKE A BOOK
Warning: mild Skyward Sword spoilers

After such a nice morning, it seems like a travesty that today is not going to be very pleasant for the citizens of Vatheon. Someone looks up at the right moment to see a figure dressed in white standing on one of the branches of the Lamufao, wringing out his soaking-wet red cloak before smiling at the insects rats humans beneath him. It's not an honest smile at all, and one that's masking barely concealed fury.

"Well. Here I was, going about my business...and what happens? It seems I've been...taken somewhere else entirely." He sweeps his soaking wet cloak behind his shoulder, a grander gesture than it needs to be. His fingers tuck the wet strings of his hair out of his left eye, revealing the black diamond-shaped tattoo on his face.

"And here I thought that it was considered proper etiquette to invite someone to your home, not...steal them away so rudely. For instance..."

The surge of energy from the coral allowed Ghirahim to teleport to the crowd, seizing one of the men and lifting him up by his neck. The screams of fright and the skittering of humanity like so many insects didn't even faze him. "If I were to take one of your own, you would be very distressed! Much like right now. Wouldn't you." He let the man drop to cough and gasp for air. "And to steal away one of my station is far more criminal. Especially when I command the demons that hunt your kind wherever you might be hiding...even at the bottom of the ocean. Then again, how could you know that the one you were stealing was Lord Ghirahim?"

He chuckled as he watched their terrified faces. "You must forgive me for being so uncivil. I've been having a very hard time of things of late..."

An understatement. He wanted to find the sky child and rip him to shreds for what he had done. And the girl as well.

"But if you were to be so kind as to escort me out of your little settlement here, it might improve my mood. I would be far less inclined to murder all of you."

Sola had been lost in thought on his way through the plaza, giddy as he was about that morning's events. Of course, the commotion being stirred up by the weird guy in white is definitely enough to snap him from his reverie. He's hurting people! Sola may not care much about the locals other than occasionally running trading games errands for starfish tokens, but that didn't mean he wanted to see them hurt or scared!

His mouth in a thin line, Sola draws his sword and shield and approaches the so called 'Lord Ghirahim'.

"Hey! Leave them alone!"

"What that other guy said!"

These words came from another youth, with brown hair, who stood with a bicep polishing gesture a few feet away from Sola. He'd apparently arrived just now on his own.

"You're not hurting anyone as long as we're here!"

Nice of you to be so inclusive, Masaru...

It hadn't been his intent to get into a fight today, or even to do much beyond spending the day in the library. Nevertheless, Dhaos cannot ignore it when someone so clearly intends to cause harm to others for what seems to be no reason other than the fun of it. And so for the first time since his arrival in Vatheon, he slips back into the persona of one born and raised to rule, of one who has commanded armies.

"Leave them be."

...Unbeknownst to him, it may not have been the best decision to wear the cloak he had received when temporarily a Sheikah.

Zelda doesn't know Ghirahim, at least not on a conscious level. The bloodline of the goddess was carried down from his time faithfully though, and when Demise's hatred was reborn within Ganondorf, another vessel for Hylia to be reincarnated was born in response. She's almost completely unaware of the cycle she was born into, knowing only that she's supposedly a goddess reborn - and even that much is hazy. Link-from-the-sky had come and gone far too quickly to explain himself. What she does know is that he's harassing the locals and that no good will come of it.

"That won't do you any good, sir. We're all trapped here together, I'm afraid. Why don't you leave the locals be? I'll explain the situation."

"...You hail from the same world as Zelda I see, though I suspect different times. I am not what you believe I am however." Which is not to say he's any less protective of Zelda.

Serph didn't like unnecessary killing, but he could see that telling someone so filled with rage, 'Sorry, you're stuck here,' would not be a good idea. His first priority was to calm this newcomer, and remove him from the vicinity of the locals. While Serph killed locals periodically, he'd rather not see them come to harm unnecessarily.

He stepped forward from the terrified crowd, expression neutral as he spoke, his voice calm and even. "I will escort you."

Serph's appearance was odd, especially compared to the clothing of the locals, and there was a pistol holstered at his hip, though he made no move towards the weapon; he was carefully watching and gauging this newcomer's reaction to his words.

...There was a part of her that wondered why she even liked coming out around here around the time of new arrivals.

Oh right, to people watch.

So when she saw Ghirahim's little show, she got up off her bench and walked over to him. Kyouko took a lollipop out of her pocket, unwrapped it and stuck it into her mouth before she bothered to respond.

"What kinda freakshow did you just get out of?" She wasn't exactly thrilled about the treatment of the man, but she kept herself looking almost bored.

No one has ever looked at her with such visceral hatred before. Her ears flatten back at the expression on his face even before he calls her Hylia. All her life she'd thought of it as only a last name, only recently finding out otherwise. It's something that she's kept from everyone, thinking that being a goddess sounds absolutely insane. Having Link (or his predecessor, rather) tell her was one thing, but having someone say it in an obviously hostile manner? It takes all of her considerable self control to remain calm.

"I am not the Zelda or the Hylia that you may know. Time has no meaning in this place. If I had to guess, I would say that I am from your future... though we have not met to my knowledge."

She's not sure why she bothers to explain. The princess would rather avoid open hostilities, but telling this man that she isn't the incarnation he knows is not likely to do all that much. Still, it's worth a try.

"...Very well then." Quite suddenly he vanishes, reappearing behind the demon lord. "This world is known as Vatheon. We are gathered here from across time and space, even different universes. It is the coral, the Lamufao, that brings us and binds us to itself."

Slowly, he turns back to Ghirahim. "...I am Dhaos, and perhaps the most powerful of the Angels present."

Chosen? The way he's speaking, he makes it sound like she chose Link. Zelda raises up the hand that holds the Triforce of Wisdom defensively, ready to call a barrier if she needs one.

"Whatever events you are referring to, I have no recollection of them. I don't even know who you are." The princess lifts her chin, looking him over. There's something familiar, but he doesn't set off quite as many alarm bells as Ganondorf did when she first saw him speaking to her father. If he was reincarnated as well, she can't place him.

Thankfully, she was prepared. This Zelda lacks the innocence of the girl from Skyloft, having spent seven years on the run. The barrier she'd prepared flies up around her as she processes this new information. Murdered? She would never kill someone in cold blood! It had to have been a fight of some sort. Right?

"I assure you, I would not do such a thing unless your master was trying to harm my land."

In that case, she would do everything in her power to end them, no matter who they were.

Kyouko raised an eyebrow at he man, putting a hand on her hip as she regarded him. "Says the guy who was being a jackass just a minute ago. I dunno, you may talk all smart and stuff, but you're still kinda dumb."

Because really? Starting off being here like that really wasn't a good idea either.

Zelda has some very strong barriers, but she can't hold them up indefinitely against assault, especially not when she's emotionally strained. Her instincts are telling her to find Link, and fast. She'd rather not get him involved, but if this man did refer to the hero as well. There won't be a choice in the matter. She slips a hand into a hidden pocket underneath the tabard of her dress, pulling out a deku nut and flinging it to the ground as hard as she can. In that brief moment, a Sheikah replaces the princess, and he's running away at top speed.

Wow personal space invasion much? But Serph didn't seem to be bothered by it, calmly watching the man eye his tattoo. When the stranger accepted his offer, Serph nodded, turning to lead him towards the elevator up to the island.

...Well, the stranger did ask to be escorted out of the 'little settlement'.

Serph didn't offer conversation just yet, allowing the stranger to take in his new surroundings without interruptions, though Serph wouldn't mind answering questions. However, he still kept his attention on the stranger, even if his eyes were looking elsewhere.
