Some one's smiling face hidden deep inside...
Who: A bored, sleeping demon in a park and YOU. Yes you. You over there, too.
Where: The park
When: Afternoon
Style: Anything, you choose. :3
[It was weird to stare up and realize that wasn't sky above everyone that lived in the city. It was water, held back by... whatever force kept them from getting crushed. Rin didn't fully understand it and he really didn't try to. He just found himself staring at it often, especially during the times when he had nothing better to do.
With Zelda in a coma, his training was on hold. And he had no plans to cook with Italy for the day. So he was left to his own devices again. Thankfully this didn't usually spell trouble for him in Vatheon - unlike back home, before he got in to True Cross and began his exorcist training, where an idle day often ended in a fight for him.
Hell, even when he was actually working he usually found some way to get in to trouble.
But things were different in that city under the sea, and while Rin wouldn't complain about the lack of people who wanted to deck him in the face so much as look at him, he still wasn't entirely sure what to do with himself. Cooking and training were fine, when the people that helped with that were around to actually do it, but curses and random comas kept it from being consistent.
He wondered what Yukio would have been up to there, if he would have an easier time adjusting to Vatheon, or if it would be just as disconcerting and difficult for him. Of course he had no way of knowing the answers to those things, and the coral didn't seem to want to give Rin anyone he knew from his world save for Shura for the short time she had been there.]
Tch. Damn coral...
[A lazy but frustrated sigh escaped the half demon, and he let his eyes close, tail draping lazily across his stomach and arms behind his head. He didn't mean to fall asleep, but soon enough he was snoozing away and snoring quietly.]

At least that's all Maka could think to do since...even when she created a new scythe with Karkat there still wasn't much to do besides solo drills and wandering around Vatheon. Life without missions sure was dull.
But hark! Who's that being a lazy bum? That tail is unmistakeable, it sure is Rin. Maka turns to greet him, but stops when she realizes he's asleep.]
Geez, really?
[She sighs and sits down next to him, glaring as if willing her friend to wake up. It's not very effective...
But there's his tail. Willickers, ever since she first met Rin that tail has been a point of curiosity for her.]
[So obviously the best solution is to poke it.]
...Hehehe.
no subject
And poking his tail doesn't seem to do much. It twitches, attempting to bat at her hand as if it has a mind of it's own. The fluffy end curls in to a spiral then flicks back out at her.]
no subject
Because it's making her laugh and poke at it again.]
no subject
It just keeps twitching at her until Rin finally rolls over on his side, curling up and holding on to the red case he always carries with him with one hand.]
no subject
Rin? Riiiiin? Wake up, sleepyhead!
no subject
[Rin grunts at the poking... then jerks awake rather suddenly and sits up with a fail.]
Gyahh-! Whozzat?! Wha--
... oh. Maka.
no subject
[It's amusing, for certain, but it's all fun and games until someone rolls out of the bench.]
no subject
[he rolls his head a bit, popping his neck.]
Used to take naps on top of the school back home. ... what're you up to, anyway?
no subject
[Shrug!]
I don't really have much to do around here except take walks and eat ice cream.
no subject
Sounds like my days. Zelda's in a coma so I can't train right now.
Man this place is boring...
no subject
[HOPE YOU DON'T MIND HAVING YOUR ARM GRABBED AND ALL.]
We should spend the day together! It'll be more fun that way, don't you think?
no subject
W-well... yeah if you really wanna... not like I'm doin' anything else...
no subject
What are you saying? If I didn't want to, I wouldn't have said anything about it!
no subject
... and then there was Shura of the Boob Headlock. Buuuh...]
Eheh... most people don't just ask me to hang out, is all...
no subject
[Right, guess the half demon thing sort of puts a damper on that.]
Well, whatever, things are going to be different from now on. Where should we go first?
no subject
Seriously, it's taking him forever to still get used to all the little things, like people actually wanting to spend time with him when he isn't in class on on a mission with them.
BUT HE'S GETTING BETTER AT IT, HE PROMISES. He was even going to take Sheimi to an amusement park.
Someday.]
First? Uhh...
[well, we're going tp let Rin's stomach answer this one. With a very loud growl. He groans and puts his hands there, slumping over a little.]
Sorry... I forgot to eat before I left...
no subject
[Who's a hypocrite? This gal.]
But it's okay, it saves us the trouble of debating where to go first. Let's go get lunch!
no subject
[Geez Maka, why such a cute hypocrite.
Rin is just going to get a little huffy until her suggestion.]
Alright. Where's a good place then?
no subject
There's this cafe I go to a lot, it has great burgers and pies. [That said, she finally releases his arm and points ahead of her to indicate how far off said place is.
Only to immediately tug on his hand to get him moving.]
It's this way!
no subject
He's just... going turn a bit red here, and follow.]
... okay...
no subject
So what's that red thing you have? Is it a weapon? How has Zelda been training you?
no subject
Oh, it's a sword. It was my Dad's sword, actually... -- not... Satan. Father Fujimoto.
[He keeps forgetting he actually told Maka way back when he was first there that he's the son of Satan.]
Uh. Concentration training, mostly.
no subject
Not that she has very good feelings associated with priests either, but that's neither here nor there.]
I use a scythe myself...but it'd be cool to see you using your sword some time! What's the concentration training for?
[Probing, who's probing, that's absurd.]
no subject
And geez Maka all the probing...
at least it's not alien probing]Controlling my flames. I got pretty good at it back home but I still have problems with it sometimes.
no subject
[Then again she's just easily impressed.]
