Who: Bardock and ALL OF YOU.
When: Sunday, May 27th, late evening
Where: Plaza
Style: Whatever
Status: Open like my arms
[Two seconds ago, his vision had been filled with fire. He'd heard nothing but the dull roar of the ki blast that would kill him along with his race, and Frieza's manaic laughter.
His surroundings had changed as quickly as the blink of an eye, for that was all he did before becoming aware of three things: he wasn't where he had been just a split second before, he was soaking wet, and there were strange people staring at him--the bloodied man in broken armor.
Where the hell was Frieza? Where the hell was he?]

Where the hell was Frieza? Where the hell was he?]

And a little recognition. Could this actually be the crazed man that had claimed he could see the future? Except... he wasn't crazed at all, was he? Frieza actually had destroyed most of the Saiyans.]

Bardock, unfortunately, hasn't learned how to sense energy, or even disguise his own. However, on high alert as he is, Vegeta's arrival doesn't escape his notice, and his eyes widen.
He'd be an idiot not to recognize the prince. Even though he'd been a child the last Bardock knew, and this was certainly no child in front of him. He must have survived the destruction.
It's a combination of shock and ingrained behavior that drives him to go down to his knee, bowing his head in proper deference.]
no subject
But they hadn't.
He looks down at Bardock in silence, wondering what would have happened if his father had believed this man.]
Rise.

But all that aside...he rises to his feet again as Vegeta told him to, steady on his feet much to his surprise. Not that he's showing that surprise, his face is a study in impassiveness.]
Prince Vegeta.

[He gestures to the Lamufao, carefully sensing Bardock's energy. Strange, he's a third class Saiyan, but his power level must be at least over 9,000... possibly over 10,000, even. Vegeta doesn't extend a hand down to help him up, that would be rude and suggesting that Bardock can't get up on his own. Instead, he just walks over towards the coral.]
What point in time are you from?
and I finally get to tagging back like I said I'd do forever ago
[Surprisingly enough. Yeah.]
...Frieza's attack.
[There's nothing in his voice but anger. Cowardly bastard.]

--and he stops.
It's not his father. That much is obvious. He lacks Goku's gentleness, he lacks his ease. But it's like someone took the picture frame and changed the picture, because the outside details all line up, but the inside... the important part... is all different.
He's definitely a Saiyan. Gohan sees the telltale tail. At this point, there's no use hiding. Gohan squares his shoulders and approaches, walking as though into battle-- when approaching a Saiyan, you never really know.]

As if there was ever another default setting.
When he catches sight of Gohan, though, the anger drops for a moment to be replaced by pure shock. He doesn't know this man--that much is certain. But he's undeniably familiar, in the shape of his face and how he holds himself. The clothing he wears is also familiar--he saw it in one of those damn visions. On his son.
Who is this?]
...who are you.
no subject
[Gohan remains as stiff and neutral, as in control and alpha male as he can.]
I know you're Saiyan.
no subject
His scouter's gone and he doesn't know how to sense ki. Yet. :| He doesn't know how badly he'd lose. His tail unwraps slowly from his waist, curling behind him, as if to confirm the trait that most easily gave his race away. It flicks for a moment or two before getting curled back where it normally rests.]
I don't think I'm the only one, boy.
[His expression isn't necessarily hostile, at that, but his mouth curves into a smirk. So in some way, his people survive...it's not particularly surprising, with the way Saiyan children are scattered to the stars. And with the way you look...it's a shot in the dark, but he thinks he knows where you came from. No one could say that he didn't know how to think logically.]
My name is Bardock. Unlikely that it means anything to you.
Now, I'm curious. Your father's name. What is it?
no subject
But he smirks slowly, because his father's name will also mean nothing to this guy.]
Son Goku.
no subject
You have the family looks, boy. Not that it's saying all that much because half the Saiyan race looks fairly alike, but. It's the smirk. Bardock snorts.]
So Kakarot took a different name then. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

There is most likely a doctor or a clinic around here to treat any injuries.
[Not that they...know where it might be.]
SORRY all kinds of late tags up in here
What is this place?
It's cool /o/

Vatheon. And where were your 'prior coordinates'?

Oh no, this man is definitely not Goku. Probably another family member coming along to kill them all like Raditz did. But still...he's hurt and his similarities to her late friend really trouble her.]
Hey--you should touch the coral before doing anything else. You'll feel better. [Even with the--err--state it's been in lately.]
no subject
Or maybe he was going mad. Or both. Normal, sane people didn't see things. Right?
...she'd told him to touch the coral. Did it have healing properties? Or was she trying to trick him?
...he'd take the chance. If he was going to be in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by potential enemies, he wanted to be at full strength.
Without responding verbally, he reaches out to lay a hand on the coral's surface.]
no subject
[Blunt, uncalled for, totally rude. Nobody ever said Bulma was a diplomat to Saiyans.]
no subject
...Bardock.
[His head tilts slightly. He's pretty sure what you're really after. But he's not going to volunteer it unless you ask.]
no subject
Does the name Raditz mean anything to you? Or maybe Kakarot?
[Frankly she's surprised she even remembered the name Raditz called Goku, it's such a mouthful.](no subject)

The celestial glow of the Lamufao haunted him as he passed by, nearly mocking Yasha with its ethereal shine. Aimlessly walking down the street in search for lodging for the net, Yasha stopped abruptly once he caught sight of a rather peculiar man. ]
...Hm?
[ Just like him, this man was a newcomer to this realm. The drenched clothing was a telltale sign of that truth. ]
Are you well?
bluh bluh all the late tags.
...what is with everyone and talking to him today this is more conversation than he usually goes through in a month and he doesn't really feel like talking anymore. Fuck. Looks strong though.]
Well enough.
