Seeing the Sights
Who: Sollux Captor and OPEN!
Where: Anywhere in the city! He's had a day tocome down from the high recuperate from his surgery, and is out exploring and meeting new people.
When: Today.
Style: Starting in action, but open to prose
Status: Open
[Sollux is taking his first few steps alone out on the town, to explore his new home. He arrived blind, but now has two blue robotic eyes - something he needs to have a word with Equius about - and is enjoying a bit of independence after a while of being stuck in bed unable to do anything without assistance.]

Aww /patpats
I've just been here about two weeks. Equius gave me new eyes, though he fucked up the colour.

So are you from before our journey to the green sun then?

I was brought here a little bit after that. Are you aware of what happened next? I could fill you in.
[At least he really didn't have the same sword hanging over him that some of the others did.]

You died, but for some reason you were only half dead. Instead of being stuck like the others in the dreambubbles, you were able to leave. You met with Aradia, who is alive and now apparently God tier, and together you went to the Green Sun. The meteor and two of the humans met up with you there. The humans joined us, and you and Aradia launched the meteor to the human's scratched session. The two of you decided to stay behind for some reason, and just after we left the sun is when I was brought here. You seemed fine last I saw you, though Jack was on his way to your position. Aradia seemed confident that she could slow him down and deflect him though? I hope this comes across as good news, knowing that things will be relatively nice for you should you go back.

Well, that sounds okay, I guess. Though I sort of wish we'd come with you.
[Shit you talk a lot, Kanaya. He shuffles, trying to think of something else to say]
So...how have things been here?

[If I recall, she was typically the one who would solicit reprieves from your nonsense, so I don't know what happened. Kanaya ponders his question for a moment before accepting the change in conversation.]
So far things have been... awkward. A lot of the people here were taken moments before their deaths. It's not exactly easy to deal with people like Gamzee or Eridan, not after what happened in the veil.

[Kanaya sighs defeatedly]
I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. If he steps out of line I will deal with him. But if karkat's right, then we shouldn't have a problem. As for Vantas I'm just angry with him about withholding this all.

I dunno, Kanaya... KK is pretty weird about culling even when he's not head over heels in pity for someone, but he's usually pretty trustworthy. I know there was already an incident where everyone accused Eridan of culling Karkat and it turned out it wasn't him.

[Though now that she's thinking of it though, that would solve the problem she's been having with finding a decent source of fresh food...]
I think I'd rather just ignore them both for now. I have enough drama in my life as it is.

[Kanaya really did not feel remorse for taking his life. It was a grim necessity. At the same time, the events in the veil never stopped haunting her.]
[In a small, hurt voice...]It had to be done.
