It wasn't uncommon to see Lady Estellise in the library at all, and that's just where she was today. She was curled up in an armchair, a small stack of books on the table to the side of her, and one of them open and being read as she relaxes in that chair of hers.

There was much to learn about this city, and a lot of literature and folklore to read. Everything was just so fascinating, and Estelle couldn't get enough of it.

And so, she stayed there, for hours on end, reading until her eyes burned, and even then.

Someone may need to remind her to eat.

The days in Vatheon seem to crawl by for Zelos. He'd already pretty much mastered cooking in the copious amounts of spare time he'd had since coming here and now he was looking for something new to try his hand at. Origami maybe. Dominos? Card houses? Astrophysics? Anything to fill the time.

He rounded a stack of books and was a little surprised to find Estelle buried in a large tome - though in hindsight he figured he shouldn't have been surprised at all; he'd already pegged Estelle as a bookworm.

Seeing as she hadn't noticed him yet, he quickly retreated and came up on her from another angle, sneaking up behind the chair and and resting his elbows quietly on the back to read over her shoulder. She may not even notice he's there until he purposely moves his head so one of the curls of red hair he takes such care with passes in front of her face.

The sight of red when all she had been seeing was black and white for the past several hours was a surprise; she made a face at it at first, wondering where it could have been coming from. Her eyes then followed that strand of hair upward, until she was lifting her face up to see what it belonged to.

Her eyes met his, and she paused, not even blinking or looking away for several moments. She only stared.

And then she smiled.

"Hello, Zelos!"

"Hey Estelle-hunny~ Fancy meeting you here!" He surveyed her collection of literature with a bemused look. "Though from the look of it you've been here for quite awhile. Gonna move in? Just set up a sleeping bag in a nest of books?"

Estelle laughed sheepishly at his suggestion, marking her place in her book and closing it.

"While the idea sounds nice, I highly doubt the caretakers of the library would allow for it."

And then her stomach growled. Estelle made a face, realizing that she really had been here that long.

With a smirk, Zelos ruffles Estelle's hair.

"Looks like you've been here a little too long, Hunny. Why don't we go get something to eat, eh? You can help me with my dilemma on the way~"

Estelle made a face again at the ruffle to her hair, but smiled at him again afterward, hands moving to brush through her hair and make herself look presentable again.

"Dilemma?" She asked, curiously glancing up at him again. "What kind of dilemma?"

"Well~" Zelos began as he rounded the chair to offer Estelle a hand in getting up. "I've mastered cooking so I'm looking for something else to be amazing at! I'm not sure where to start."

"Oh! Well ... let's see. What other hobbies were you thinking of picking up? Any ideas right off the bat?" She asked, taking his hand and pulling herself up. She also brought the book she was reading with her, intending to check it out on the way out of the library so she could continue reading at home.

... it was funny to think of this place as home. It wasn't Terca Lumireis, she knew; that was where her home really was. But she had once heard that home was where the heart is, and while her heart most definitely was with her home world, she had also grown to love this world as well.

Was it all right to have two homes?

Perhaps ...

But that was a thought for another day.

"Maybe making something! You know, like a craft that takes awhile to get good at. Woodworking or metalwork or something." Instead of letting go of her hand, he moves it to his arm and walks her to the front counter to check out her book.

"I might come up with something better on a full stomach though~ Let's take care of that first!"
