A meeting of villanous minds
Who: Head Nurse ~Medica~, Kurloz, Bro, Shirley, Laharl, Grimmjow, Yotsuba, Renge, and Kanaya
When: So late at night that it's morning, 7/15 (7/16 technically)
Where: A secret lair that stands where the church used to be
Status: Semi-open
["Medica" (as the Head Nurse is now calling herself) waits in the church-turned-lair for all the selected villains to make their undoubtedly flashy entrances. She seems as cool and collected as ever, though if one takes a very close look at her there is something just a little different.
Perhaps she's a wee bit excited.
The lair itself seems to be a bit of a catch-all, containing all the things a good villain might need. Creepy monitors overlooking the city, doomsday devices, eerie labs, a place to keep hostages, places to store loot and anything else the enterprising evil-doers can think up. There seems to be a section tailored to each villain. Clearly, Medica intends to work together.]
((Consider this as a bit of an IC mingle for the villains to meet and greet! After all, there's no badge identifying good and evil. Time to make alliances! Heroes are welcome to try and sneak in if they dare, but they definitely aren't invited...))

Welcome, everyone. I am sure you're wondering just what this fuss is about, so I will get right to the point. There's been a shockingly large increase in the number of pesky heroes in our dear city, hasn't there? As much as I think we might all prefer working solo, I believe it might do us some good to... collaborate.

[When he found the letter waiting in his temporary hideout, Grimmjow had been skeptical. Skeptical, but still curious enough to at least check it out. It hadn't taken him long to find the building and slip inside without causing too much attention in his panther form, because let's be real; a massive white panther isn't exactly common, especially in an underwater city.
Once he had scoped out the place, he returned to his human form and made himself presentable before making his way to the meeting room. Perhaps it was habit formed out of attenting the meetings for Las Noches, or perhaps it was simple curiosity that made him claim a seat closest to the mysterious woman. Regardless, he was already balancing the chair on it's back legs as he kept his gaze focused on her.]
I want fuckin' answers about this place first. Why 'm I here? What the fuck do you want outta me? Why should I "collaborate" with you people? Huh?
no subject
He did stop the tapping when the Head Nurse stopped talking, but it was closely followed with a roll of his eyes in Grimmjow's direction, and a shrug directed toward Medica. It's not hard to tell that he doesn't really care.]
no subject
The Fashionista and her cohort, Clover, have arrived.
[She'll take a seat down on one end, saving room for her younger ally.]
no subject
I'm Clover, and I'm here! Where's the reports?
[Because there's always stacks of papers during serious movies too.]

Time is money and when you're short on funds for your evil inventions, you're short on time. That's just how it is. These people are lucky he managed to find an opening in his agenda to attend this meeting. In contrast to his lineface, the puppet is leering at everyone with a wide, permanent, awful smirk. When its mouth opens, it speaks in a haunting, high-pitched tone. The sound's not even coming from its owner, it's coming from inside the puppet itself. Mind controlled voice boxes are a wonderful thing.]
"What is this, a business meeting or a kindergarten class?"
no subject
It's obvious is a meeting of the minds, such great minds it must be.
[She likes to think anyway.]
no subject
You're pretty full of yourselves if you think any one of you constitutes a "great mind." You look like a bunch of wannabes from where I'm sitting.
[Although maybe one or two of them have enough brains to make decent minions...]
no subject
Why, you're here because you accepted my invitation, of course. You are free to leave if you wish, but I thought you might appreciate meeting some... like-minded individuals.
[Trying not to be amused at Yotsuba, she begins passing out a list of the heroes (but not their secret "true" identities, of course!) in the city along with a list of potential riches that they could take for themselves. Art, jewelry, banks, secret laboratories full of undoubtedly powerful technology, even a souped-up description of the coral. From the way she describes it on paper, it sounds like it's practically a genie bottled up in a lamp.]
This city has an abundance of resources waiting to be tapped. It also has an abundance of barking little dogs nipping at the heels of anyone who might wish to take advantage of those resources. Surely you can see that it might be beneficial to work together to clear them out?
no subject
[But he'll brush it off and confront her later, preferably in private. Instead of pursuing it, he opts to look between the list that was handed out and the other newcomers with a frown. A few of the names caught his interest just out of curiosity, but only one held his full attention.]
...Aside from havin' t'work with a bunch of weirdos, fashion rejects 'n a pair of kids, y'might actually have my help.
[Grimmjow waves the list around a bit as another concern hits him;]
What if one of these shitstains manages to kill one of us? What then?
no subject
What he does next is rap a fist on the table to get attention. He makes a casual little "no problem" gesture, then looks at Grimmjow and raises an eyebrow in a clearly judgmental expression. He isn't worried- clearly Grimmjow is a weak link, if that's the first concern he has, is what that look communicates.]
no subject
[Yotsuba may not have the life experiences that the other villains have, but she has definitely seen a lot of superhero movies before. Villains always ended up in jail in those, because the ones that ended with dead villains were always too scary and her dad never let her watch them.]
no subject
[Sorry Yotsuba, she will admit the things she actually knows from her odd amount of knowledge, but she still looks awfully calm.]
I doubt this is the same case, unless you believe yourself to be so dangerous that the only option is to kill you.
no subject
[Considering the other option is, what? Being pitied by the hero and locked up for eternity? Not that he'd ever be beaten in the first place.]
If they take any of you out, it just means you're weak. I'm not interested in collaborating with anyone like that.
no subject
They're heroes. Most of them would be paralyzed by the idea of killing their foes. Even if you manage to anger one enough to try, you can always give them a good speech about how killing is their first step towards villainy. At the very least they'll hesitate enough for you to strike one good blow.
[Oh come on, Laharl. If you can't manage to escape from prison she can't imagine you'd be much help either.]
I have my own plans, but I see no reason we can't pool resources and power for larger tasks.
no subject
However...]
Such as...?
no subject
[He shoots Kurloz a look. There was something about this guy that Grimmjow didn't like already, but he couldn't put his thumb on it. This would be one to avoid pissing off for the time being.]
...Once some of us start moving, we're bound to get a few on our asses. Especially if we hit a few of the bigger places on the list like the banks--I dunno how they work here, but where I came from they had armed guards. I ain't too thrilled about getting a bullet to the gut again.
no subject
They won't notice unless you make a big thing of it. No, if you start will the small things and use others to slowly build up to the big things it's much easier to go unnoticed for so long.
[Taken from previous experience and the fact she had yet to be caught gives her that understanding. Advantage of using others.]
As for moi, I'm not sure how this will be of benefit without exposing at least some of us who prefer working in the dark.
no subject
There are plenty of heroes who'd take a life, if they think it's the "right thing to do."
[He grins then.]
Of course, if it's not a villain, then there's no way they could risk letting them die. Even the most worthless human life is sacred to a hero. Why sneak around when you can paralyze them with their own morals?
no subject
[It would be a good distraction, she could keep all the heroes busy while the other villains committed their crimes. Yotsuba was never that great at carrying out complicated plans anyway, so being a distraction would probably be the best use for her.]
no subject
[She gestures back to the mini-lairs inside her own lair.]
That is why I have gathered some resources for you all to use as you see fit. You are free to use any method you choose to hamper our "heroes".
[Yotsuba please stop, you're going to make her laugh!]
...even playing with them, if you must.
no subject
Sounds to me like you're hoping to use us as a distraction. Keep the heroes off your back for a while.
no subject
They only cared about using everyone in order for them to survive.]
But a distraction can only work for so long. [She mumbled.] It would only be a matter of time before the heroes will know what's going on though.
We'll need another plan.
[And then she'll figure out something else to work around it.]
