That time of the month again, and Selphie noticed the people dropping into Vatheon. It's always an exciting time for her - all the possibilities for new friends. It seems to bring people out to the plaza too, making the place busier than usual. In short, Selphie's been having a pretty lonely time of it. She still feels weird about disappearing and coming back, and she's still bummed about missing the festivities because of her coma. So here she is, out in the plaza, ready to meet and greet.

Not too far from the fountain, the young woman is cradling an acoustic guitar. Passing by, you might hear a pretty little tune like this, and if you're lucky then maybe Selphie will be singing along softly too. Or perhaps you'll hear something a little different, like this. Mostly, Selphie's keeping herself happy and busy. But if she can keep others happy with her playing too, then that's all the better. Feel free to stop and listen, passerby, and compliments will go a very long way for this high spirited girl. Hecklers do so at their own risk - it won't be pretty.

"You...wanna draw me?" Selphie raised a brow at the idea - he might think it was a good one, but it was the kind of request she'd never had before. "Okay, but only if I get to see if when it's done."

"Of course. I always show my work off at the end." He nodded then gave her a resolute smile. "Only if you want to, of course." He pulled out his sketch pad and pencils.

"Alright then, it's a deal! Are you ready?" Selphie nodded in happy agreement, quite excited now to see what a sketch of her might look like. She held her guitar in position, and began to start up another tune.

"Alright. Deal." Burgh smiled happily as he set up his easel and then got into position. "You can play whatever you like just as I set up the position correctly."

She glanced at the easel, thinking that the whole thing was still kinda weird, but she went on playing anyway, ignoring the fact that she was being so closely watched, trying to be as normal as ever.

Nothing was weird in Burgh's book. He had a gym back in Unova which was made out of honey, then cocoons. He bit his tongue as he tried to get the angle right.

"Just there and.....not there. Oh, yes. That's it....hm." He muttered as he got the right position. "There."

It was getting harder to ignore Burgh standing there as he ummed and ahhed over his sketching. Still, she did her best not to look over in case that made her feel more awkward. She did glance at him though, wondering how long this would take.

Burgh didn't want to make her anymore uncomfortable than she was already as he fussed over his sketch. He settled down and began sketchign lightly. "Very nice..."

She continued to look at him, a little nervous. But she took a deep breath and just continued in what she was doing. Hearing him say 'very nice' was a bit weird, but she carried on playing regardless.

"No need to look so nervous, Selphie. Just relax and pretend I'm not here." Burgh tried to reassure her as he sketched her guitar and the outlines of the strings.

"Uhm..okay." Really, Burgh, she's trying. But this is all just too weird. "How much longer...?" She was nearing the end of a short tune, and wondered if she should start playing another.

"Not long at all. Just a little....more. Here and here." Burgh bit his tongue as he finished off the sketch before turning it around. "There. What do you think?"

At first, Selphie really, really didn't want to look. But she did, slowly and carefully, her eyes taking in all the little lines, "Do I really look like that...?"

"I think so. What do you think?" Burgh waited with baited breath.

Selphie laughed a little, peering at it closer, "I think it makes me look pretty!"

[creative_lovebug]

"That's because you ARE pretty, Selphie. Very much so." He nodded.

"Oh!" Selphie blushed ever so slightly at that then just grinned, "Awesome!~"
