[Cielo had heard about the escaped animals, but he had decided he wasn't going to go looking for them as long as they weren't hurting anybody. And judging from the reactions he's seen, they seemed to be minor annoyances at worst.

He's cutting through the park on his way back to the Embryon base when he spots it. The tall four-legged creature grazing on the grass. At first, he was going to simply just walk by it when he notices its ears.

That...yes! That animal has the same ears he had during the animal curse! A llama! He had only just recently learned what llamas were and this was his first time seeing one. Of course, he can't resist the chance to see it up close. He pets its neck and tries talking to it. As normal llamas cannot speak, it does not reply.

Not verbally, anyway.

The llama lifts its head, takes one look at Cielo, and takes one of his braids of blue hair into its mouth and starts chewing on it.]

Hehehe. I was kidding. Where did you find him though, this seems like a really random place for a llama to just...show up.

I think he came from the zoo. Some animals got away from there.

So what, there are potentially like...tigers running around now?

. . . Argilla had been helping Hubert with some of the animals just the day before, and she'd set out to see if he'd require anymore help today. She assumed Cielo would be out and about as usual, but she didn't expect to find him quite like this.

She approaches to help him, but she can't help but comment.]

I think it likes you.

[Excuse him in not looking at you Argilla, he's preoccupied at the moment.]

Likes how I taste, maybe.

[He bops the llama on the nose, giving him just enough time to get free.]

[. . . Awww, you hurt it. Which to be fair, was kind of necessary, but now the llama's walking away. Probably to find actual food.

Argilla watches as he begins to walk off. There's certainly enough animal commotion elsewhere to distract him.]

Apparently not that much.

. . . Actually, he looks familiar.

[Argilla is nodding, though she can be seen thinking and considering before she finally answers.]

Didn't you have ears like that?

For the curse week? Ja. Someone told me that animal's called a llama.

[The loud "Hey!" is probably what gets her attention. Yukari's otherwise occupied, wondering how these animals could have escaped, and probably doing her own part to make sure they're safe and to get them back where they belong.

She likes animals, but this is ridiculous, okay?

Kind of like what she sees when she turns around -- not that it's Cielo's fault.]

[She chuckles a little.]

[He doesn't want to hurt the animal, so he yanks his hair free. Ick.]

[Ick is right. That looked pretty painful, and Yukari actually flinches a little, before turning her attention back to the two of them.]

Must be one of the escaped animals.

[Right. The petting zoo!]

Yeah. Do you think he's hungry?

[He did try to eat your hair . . .]

[He looks over in the llama's direction, who has gone back to grazing.]

Looks like it to me.

[Gale's not far away, so Cielo's shout is pretty noticeable. It doesn't sound particularly angry, though, so he doesn't rush over.

... Upon seeing the llama, though, he won't even ask if Cielo needs help. He'll just start helping with extricating the braid.]

[Between the two of them, they free Cielo's hair from being eaten as soon as it's free, Cielo puts some distance between himself and the llama.]
