DEMON LLAMA
Who: Cielo, a llama from the petting zoo, and you!
Where: The park
When: Afternoon
Status: Open
Style: Starting in action, pick whatever suits your fancy
[Cielo had heard about the escaped animals, but he had decided he wasn't going to go looking for them as long as they weren't hurting anybody. And judging from the reactions he's seen, they seemed to be minor annoyances at worst.
He's cutting through the park on his way back to the Embryon base when he spots it. The tall four-legged creature grazing on the grass. At first, he was going to simply just walk by it when he notices its ears.
That...yes! That animal has the same ears he had during the animal curse! A llama! He had only just recently learned what llamas were and this was his first time seeing one. Of course, he can't resist the chance to see it up close. He pets its neck and tries talking to it. As normal llamas cannot speak, it does not reply.
Not verbally, anyway.
The llama lifts its head, takes one look at Cielo, and takes one of his braids of blue hair into its mouth and starts chewing on it.]

Hey!
no subject
[He's never been to the petting zoo himself. Maybe it's not a fun place to live. Or maybe the animals just wanted to see what was in the rest of the bubble.]
no subject
She's never really visited the zoo either, at least not when it was in its optimal condition. It was pretty damaged, but the animals caused that themselves.]
. . . Me either. But as long as they're not hurting anyone, I suppose we can let them be.
[Hurting anyone, or themselves.]
no subject
Let's do something else then, ja?
no subject
Of course. I haven't asked what you were doing today.
no subject
[So he tries to think of an activity that Argilla might like.]
Anything you want to do?
no subject
I didn't have anything in mind either. But we could go swimming.
[When all else fails, default to the beach?!]
no subject
[Swimming is the best, and Cielo will take any excuse to go up to the island.]
no subject
[To the elevator! And then maybe after, when their hair is all wet, they can go to a salon or something--]
no subject
no subject
But that's okay. Argilla catches up easily, at least by the time they get to the elevator. And even though she knows this is just like any other visit to the beach, they'll still find a way to make it special.]
no subject
Let's go, ja?
no subject
Cielo doesn't have to tell her twice.]
Let's go.
[She repeats his words.
. . . And then breaks into a run.]
no subject
Hey! No fair!
[And he zips off after her. Being the fastest in the Tribe, however, lets him catch up easily.]
no subject
Well, if it was a race, it was a short lived one. They both find themselves in the water before long, and even though it is a little cold, Argilla finds herself diving under against the waves. They're really strong today!
It's not until she surfaces that she turns to see Cielo caught up to her.
. . . Good.]
no subject
He splashes some water in Argilla's direction.]
1/2
. . . Sigh. If Sera ever comes back
a few days after this log, that is.]no subject
She'd put her hands on her hips and give him Look, if she weren't having so much fun-- so she'll just settle for a playful look instead.]
I'll take that as a challenge!
[SPLASHING BACK. She can actually taste some of the water when it accidentally gets into her mouth. Augh, salty.]
no subject
Good. It's no fun if she doesn't. After enduring some of her splashes, Cielo dives under water to escape her watery assault. Going under the water to avoid water! GENIUS!
He swims to Argilla's left and resurfaces. Counterattack time! He gives a playful growl while he's at it too. Grr!]
no subject
Argilla follows his movements as best she can (it is a bit harder, compared to when he's surfaced), and even though she does get hit with a few splashes because she isn't perfect at predicting his timing, she doesn't seem to mind. She uses her arms as a shield, and when she finds a brief opening, she begins her counter-counterattack.
. . . They could be at this for a while.]
no subject
...oh well! Between splashes, he manages some words.]
Should do this more often!
no subject
[. . . Yeah, she doesn't really know either! They could keep going forever and she still wouldn't know how to judge if there was a winner. But she's glad he seems to be enjoying it as much as she is.]
Maybe with the others as well, next time.
[Even though Heat will probably be a grumpy butt and not want to play.]
no subject
Although he is quite into the splash fight, Cielo does take a moment to plan out this future trip that he's certain is going to happen.]
We could play other games and just relax too.
[That last one is particularly appealing to him. How much does the Embryon get to lounge around, worry free? Not much.]
no subject
Argilla nods, because she's always fascinated learning about games and traditions she never knew about before.]
I'm sure we could manage both. Though I have a lot to learn about "other games" . . .
no subject
I don't know that many myself, but we can find out from other people.
no subject
. . . All right. We both will.
[And that'll make everything worth it. She's sure.]
