Fluttershy's teal eyes blinked in the morning light. White. All around her was the color white. She lifted a hoof to her delicate features and wiped away the water. Where... where am I? Upon closer inspection, the white appeared to be actually white sand. She carefully pulled herself into a sitting position and looked around at her surroundings.

A beach.

There isn't a beach anywhere near Ponyville, the cream colored mare though to herself, taking in her pristine surroundings and the gloomy dome above. Wait, dome? Fluttershy let out a gasp. While there were dark clouds above, there seemed to be a huge, bubble-like ceiling even farther above. A whimper escaped her lips. She wasn't in Ponyville anymore. She didn't even appear to be in Equestria! The pegasus flattened herself to the wet sand and covered her head, a quiver taking over her little body.

It didn't take long before a pair of grubby, untied purple sneakers appeared in her line of sight, and a shadow fell on her as someone, quite obviously, stopped in front of her. There was the whisper of clothing as Gamzee crouched down, watching the pony curiously. He vaguely remembered seeing something like this before. Well, not quite. That one had been all motherfuckin' rainbow colours and awesome, but still, a hoofbeast like this.

"Hey. You ok?"

Sorry, Fluttershy. The first person you were going to meet here is a giant, clown-faced troll with way too many sharp teeth.

It was too nice of a day to be cooped up inside, but then again, it was pretty much always too nice of a day here. No matter. Always keenly interested in the still-new world around her, the splash of yellow and pink catches her eye, attracting her attention and definitely causing her to stop for a moment. Was that a...? She squinted, and unable to determine just what she was looking at (a multicolored hoofbeast?? Where was Equius...) made her approach with no reservations.

With the gap closed, though, she could help noticing that the being looked... confused? Well, that wasn't anything new here.

"Hi, hello!" Perky as ever, of course. "Are you okay?"

Getting used to being trapped here without his jail is something The Warden has been trying to do. With the new flood of newcomers, it makes him feel a little bit better about not being so new now. He decided to take a trip up to the beach to see if he could find anything interesting.

Well, well! Look at that. It's a tiny pegasus! The Warden is just going step right up to her and grin. Goodness, does he look incredibly taller in comparison to her. His grin seems a little bit off-setting, but he's being genuinely... pleasant. "Why hello there...!"

Fluttershy peeked through her forehooves and immediately wished she hadn't. A towering, purple demon stood over her! The young mare let out a squeal and tried to take to the air... only to fall face first into the sand with a loud 'thump'.

Ouch.

"Please don't hurt me," a frightened, feminine voice said from somewhere under the wet sand.

Just ignore them, Fluttershy thought to herself, keeping her head covered with her hooves. The shivering pegasus seemed to be trying to burrow into the wet, white sand beneath her... which was not working that well.

"I don't taste that good!" she whimpered when the presence didn't move from its spot.

Fluttershy let out a shrill yelp at the sound of the voice, her teal eyes shrunken down to pinpoints. "Please don't hurt me!" the cream colored mare said softly. "I- I'm just a pony! I haven't done anything wrong!"

Her wings wouldn't cooperate and she was left to shiver uncontrollably in front of the human, her long pink mane hiding her face.

This pony reminded him of someone, someone very meek and easily malible... but he wouldn't do that to the pony, that'd be terrible.

Not now, anyways. He takes the cane from under his arm and places it into the sand, still giving her that incredibly borderline creepy smile.

"I'm not going to hurt you," he begins, leaning on his cane, "You seem lost."

"Woah." Gamzee raised his hands, making faint shushing motions with them. "Hey, fuck, settle down there. I ain't gonna motherfuckin' hurt you, I swear."

"What? I'm not going to eat you!"

Kneeling down, Feferi reaches out a hand to pat the poor thing (a hoofbeast of some kind, for sure) on the head, uncertain of what the usual gesture of comfort should be. Did she have a proper shoulder to pat? Nevermind. Putting on her brightest smile, she leans in a little more.

"You're not going to get very far that way, though. I hope you know that."

Bad weather? Not to Cielo! Once again, he's going up to the island, this time to have that fly in the rain that he didn't have. But as soon as the elevator doors open, the yellow pegasus on the beach catches his attention immediately.

...what a cute little demon! It reminds Cielo of the Kelpies, except much more adorable. Normally, one should be wary of demons, but this one looks pretty harmless. Of course, he's said that about other demons too and they turned out to be not so harmless, but he was going to take his chances on this one. Still, he was going to be careful and kneel down in the sand a respectful distance away. If, for whatever reason, the cute not-Kelpie attacks him, he'd have time to run or fight back.

"Hi there!"

Denzel wasn't sure how the surface beneath his feet was suddenly softer... He was walking around with his arms extended and eyes squinting. Cluz had lost his glasses and could barely see. How he ventured to the beach, well he has no idea. Crocker continues to walk around like a zombie on the beach, "Where are they?"

"You... aren't?" Fluttershy said in a wavering voice after she had pulled her head from the hole. She gave it a shake, but it was going to take a good brushing to even feel like she was clean again. Oh dear. The pegasus cautiously looked up at the... human? Demon? He was smiling, so maybe he wasn't bad after all?

"Ain't all got me no need to lay into a fuckin' hoofbeast sweet as you, yeah?" Gamzee plopped himself down onto his ass in front of her, his hands still spread out as if to assure her he wasn't going to hurt her at all.

"I'm Gamzee, and I got me a think here is in my motherfuckin' pan what says you are new to this hood."

Lifting her head up from the moist ground, Fluttershy eyed the female nervously. While she appeared to be some sort of human or other creature, her voice sounded kind. People like that tended to be on the good side, right? Except Discord, but... she didn't look anything like him.

"...Who are you? And what is this place?" she asked, swallowing back her fear.

Oh, that voice reminded her too much of Discord. Like he loved to create chaos just for the fun of it. She brushed aside a lock of her bright mane and gazed up at him warily.

"Y-yes, I just got here," she mumbled, avoiding his eyes.

Fluttershy cracked open one teal eye at the sound of the unknown voice. She picked her head up and looked over at its owner. "H-hello?" she answered back in a tone that was just above a whisper. The pegasus gulped, trying to calm her racing heart.

Fluttershy let out a gasp and quickly darted out of the way of the stumbling human. What was he doing...? He'd nearly tripped over her, as if he couldn't- And then she noticed his squinting eyes. Oh. Maybe he wore glasses and had lost them?

Despite her nervousness, the mare couldn't just leave him wandering around like that. He could actually hurt someone or even himself by accident!

"S-sir, um... do you need any help?"

She wondered why he kept using that f-word in all sorts of different ways. And what exactly did it mean? "New to the... hood?" Maybe he meant that she a newcomer to this strange place?

"I'm, uh, Fluttershy," she shyly responded, scraping the sand with one hoof as she avoided his eyes. He was so tall. Maybe even bigger than Princess Celestia. Were ponies really that small compared to other beings? It sent a shiver up her spine.

He almost didn't hear her reply, but he just managed to catch it. "I've never seen a demon like you before. I'm Cielo." She seems harmless enough, but he doesn't move any closer. She looks scared and he doesn't blame her!

"Aight, Fluttersis. Now ain't you all get up in your fuckin' worries, aight? This magic land is being real friendly to us motherfuckers." Then again, he came from a planet where infanticide wasn't just common, it was breakfast.

"It's all being called Vatheon. And I guess, you are kinda all sorts of stuck here, lil hoofsister. But that's cool. Place is real chill to be spending your time at, you get?"

"I'm Feferi." Her reply came in the same sort of voice she used when talking to one of her beloved injured pets. But only in the best of ways, of course! "You're not hurt, are you? It's just water, you're safe here. This is Vatheon, and it's not in your world or my world, or anyone's world. But it is under the ocean!"

His little nicknames for her brought a soft smile to her delicate features. She has calmed down some, but not enough to unglue her wings from her sides. They were starting to cramp a bit. She was in for a long night of brushing and wing stretching if she wanted to remain ready for... well, anything.

"Vatheon." It sound strange on her tongue. "So... the only thing we can do is wait here? We can't go home?"

"Um, no, I don't think so." Fluttershy lifted her wings and her legs, checking each limb for any sort of bruise or scratch. There were none, but she noticed an odd tattoo on the inside of her left foreleg. She'll have to inspect that later.

"Under the ocean? That would take a lot of magic to keep the dome from breaking." Did that mean a strong unicorn was already here? Or perhaps another alicorn, like the Royal Sisters. Twilight would be able to tell, the mare thought anxiously.

Her teal eyes open wide in surprise. "D-demon? But I'm not a demon! I'm a pegasus!" she said in a louder tone, looking quite horrified. Demons were bad, bad things. She would never do anything bad.

Chie didn't visit the beach often. There wasn't much of a reason, really, but it was the truth. This had been her second time there, but something was a little...well, different. That thing being a pony cowering in the sand. She was shaking- did something bad happen? Chie had to make sure the poor thing was okay.

"Um, excuse me? Are you okay? Then again, do you..speak?" She asked, kneeling down a bit beside her- although keeping a good distance between them. Chie'd gotten so used to animals talking in this place she'd assumed that this pony could, too, hopefully.
