011 ∫ Flying helps with the grief...

Characters: James Potter and YOU
Location: The plaza
Time: Afternoon
Style: Any
Status: Open

With Lily upset over what she left behind, Shin trying to put on a brave face for losing Sirius, and James knowing where his best friend had gone back to, the Marauders House was the most depressing place in the bubble right now. So James had, once again, sneaked out a broomstick and tried to clear his head the way he would have done back home.

“Yes. Same to you, James.”

She shrugs as well, consumed by silence for a moment because she isn’t quite sure what to say to that. She is hardly the champion of dealing with her problems, either, but—well, it would probably be rude to leave him hanging.

“Though I was under the impression that running away from your problems often makes them worse.”

Heh. At that, Rue doesn't say anything. She gets the sense that is a rhetorical question, so she just watches him mount his broom and take off to the skies. It is true, then. A magnificent sight, to be sure--and though she thought it might be a subtle hint that she should leave, she notices him keeping an eye on her and stays.

She folds her arms, attentive as if she were being treated to a show.

What kind of trick would he do next?

It's surprising, to be sure.

Perhaps she scares easily. She is just a little girl, in the end, even though she thinks she's a bit more than that. But when he rushes down at her, her heart races, leaning back and ready to run before he pulls up again. She's breathing heavily as she continues to watch him, trying to steady herself once more.

He wouldn't hear her if she said anything about this, of course, but there's a bit of a smirk on her face.

It looks a bit forced, though, and it's hard to tell whether she truly enjoyed that little stunt or not. But either way, she's intrigued.
